After sending a raven to the Bergian royals requesting an audience, Solomon and his traveling party - after doing their part to help their own country rebuild after the tragedy that occurred in the coast - made their way to the cold, mountainous region. It wasn’t long before he was kneeling before the King and the Queen, head bowed to show respect, and it was only after having gotten permission that he rose to his feet.

“I must say that I’m grateful you accepted my request, your majesties, but I shouldn’t be surprised... Bergia has always been a kind and generous host,” Solomon stated, smile teasing his lips. “But if you would mind, I do have something I would like to ask of you and only you.” Eyes shifted to the men in the room - the guards and the servants - before he let his gaze settle upon the King and the Queen. “I would understand if you’d prefer not to, of course, but I would like to request that my only audience is you.”

things were going well, for the most part.. gabriel and arthur hit it off and both houses were celebrating the future union between the houses, something that had never happened before. but eirian had gone to bergia to try and make amends for his behavior with lord grimhilde and a letter came that he was in a blizzard and feared he might be dying. rushing into a portal, antonin found himself in bergia and begged for their help.

“i’m so sorry, dora. i don’t mean to be a burden but eirian is my baby and i don’t want to lose him, especially so young” antonin said as he sat in the others chambers with a glass of tea, his hands shaking as he held it and tried to take a sip. “i didn’t know what else to do”

There was only one person in Metia whom Henri could rely on the most every time he and the King have another infamous falling out. He was relieved to know Pandora set up a nearby safe haven for him. Even in the summertime, Bergia was known for having blizzards which made traveling at night nearly impossible. Henri planned to find an inn of some sort and gather his thoughts before moving in the morning. Fortunately for him, the Queen offered his own private castle for the boy to take refuge in for the time being. Come sunrise, or the hour expected to be broad daylight in the country, Henri rose out of bed to throw his arms around the man who entered his room. The Prince instantly broke into fits of sobs, burying his face Pandora’s chest, basking in the physical warmth and comfort only he could provide. “F-father kicked me out again...” he started, voice already cracking, taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm him. “Said I wasn’t worthy of a title or to be your son. Y-you don’t think that’s true, right?”
