Delicious Party Precure leaks

Okay so I'm generally good at discerning real leaks from fake leaks when it comes to Precure. There's a few obvious patterns: it's always ancillary merchandise, it's generally low digital quality, it's limited on information, and it is usually missing information. (example: Tropical-Rouge leak from last year)

Also there's a certain quality to the art that's hard to describe. So with that said, I'm about 99% sure these are legit leaks from a Delicious Party Precure coloring book. It depicts the front and back of a single sheet (numbered 5 on the obverse and 6 on the reverse) and I can tell they're the same sheet because it's kind of crinkled and torn. The creases and tears are in the same relative places on each side. However, there is a clear point of separation on each sheet, but especially page 6, where the longer-haired girl jumping in the air is cut off and you can see elements of her design duplicated to her right, to the left of the spiral-haired girl, as if she's standing beside her teammate. Based on the shading in some of the rips, it seems to me like portions of two separate pages were taped together and then photocopied, then the copy was crumpled up a bit before these pictures were taken.

Here's the facts

The fairies are Pamupamu (パムパム) the dog-shaped one, Menmen (メンメン) the dragon, and Komekome (コメコメ) the fox. I don't know enough Japanese to determine what these names mean, but they're probably similar to words kids would know.

There are two Precures depicted, one has shorter hair which may be tied up in buns a la Sailor Moon, with spiral ponytails coming out, similar to Cure Lemonade, and the other one has much longer, fuller hair with two smaller side ponytails, similar to Cure March. Both have hair accessories that resemble some kind of food product, a small waist apron with four butterflies, a ribbon on their chest with a heart in the middle, and very large bows on their back, about 3 times the width of their bodies.

The human figure is named Rosemary (ローズマリー)

The text says "I came to look for Recipibon" (レシピボンをさがしにやってきたわ) I'm only guessing at that romanization but it seems to be a combination of recipe and ribbon.

The text on the second page just says Delicious Party Precure, no cure names or anything.

Everything beyond this point is entirely my own speculation.

I'm guessing the girl with longer hair, who appears to have Komekome as a partner, is our Pink Cure for the year; while the one with spiral hair partnered with Menmen is yellow, based on historical trends. The longer-haired girl is placed in front of the spiral-haired girl in what little we can see of page 6, and there is likely someone to her left as well based on image spacing. The center position in a group of 3 or more is usually occupied by the pink (or the character occupying the leader position, since TroPri bucked tradition). However, I could be off the mark about their colors. Also, Rosemary appears to be the mentor figure and has a connection to the fairies, likely coming from the same world as them. Again, though, there's too many possibilities and it's impossible to extract any definitive information from this very limited data set.

The info about Delicious Party Pretty Cure (I'll shorten it to DeliPa) is finally here and for some reason the staff decided to leak it today instead of late December. Anyway! The usual pink-blue-yellow trio is back, with their partners!

Thoughts on the Delicious Party Cures

This will only be for the Cures. I don’t really feel like doing everyone else lol, I’m tired.

Yui Nagomi / Cure Precious:

The name: It’s okay, I guess? I don’t really see how it fits with the theme of the season, but maybe people in the show keep calling her “precious”? It’s giving Gollum.

The outfit:

Happy we’re back to the lead being a color we can all agree on lmao. But she’s got the pan/trans flag thing going again

It’s kinda reminding me of Cure Whip’s outfit? Which makes sense given that was also a food season. The skirt tails in the back remind me of Cure Happy’s dress no it’s reminding me of Cure Grace’s coat sorry lol

This is probably the only outfit where I like the giant ribbons in the back. They don’t look messy here

Does she have HOOVES??

Fuwa Kokone / Cure Spicy:

The name: Makes the most sense with this season, but with a sandwich theme…? Maybe it’s because I’m American, but I’ve never thought of sandwiches as spicy… unless you’re putting some special sauce in there. But given that her civilian name means “fluffy,” I wonder why she wasn’t “Cure Fluff” or “Cure Fluffy”? At least sandwich breads are fluffy.

The outfit:

Tsundere face

I like these sub colors. They all go well with the turquoise-like blue

The tights and shoes remind me of Cure Princess’ outfit

That thing on her head looks like a teething ring. I feel like she could’ve gone without that. However, I like the pink streamer-like strand in her ponytail. It adds to the party theme

There is nothing in this outfit aside from PamuPamu’s presence that would tell me she’s a sandwich cure. I would’ve guessed she had a candy theme. I feel like that’s a pretty big design flaw lmao.

Ran Hanamichi / Cure YumYum:

The name: I don’t think I’m ever gonna like the attempts to make two words into one, even when it’s a repeated word. It’s just weird to me. Of course this is more relevant to the theme than “Precious,” but this name also isn’t necessarily related to ramen. I guess it fits her cutesy look.

The outfit:

My least favorite

This color scheme is what I thought we were gonna get from someone in Tropical Rouge. Specifically Cure “Summer.” But these do look like colors that would derive from a ramen theme, so good on that.

Toei’s doing that thing again where they’re saying she’s a yellow cure but there’s more orange in her than yellow—that heart on her chest is even red-orange! It’s like the hearts on Cure Sparkle’s gloves and Cure Soleil’s dress. Toei, please don’t be afraid to just have another orange cure!!

Her apron just randomly has blue, pink and purple highlights and it doesn’t look right.

Why is there like a whole other outfit on her back

I like the noodle hair-things (at least her outfit is somewhat relevant to her theme) but i wish the buns were also yellow. The pinkish red makes them look like buttons or giant zits. Are they parts of her hair or something else???

I do like the lil red heart on her skirt

Overall, they’re cute, but really all over the place like I thought. I think Precious’ no actually Spicy’s design is my favorite.

Ooh, finally the Delicious Party visuals dropped! Who are the girls, btw?

Here's what I've gathered so far...

The Pink Cure is Nagomi Yui, aka Cure Precious. She's an energetic young girl who loves to eat. Her motif is rice, and her mascot is a female fox-like fairy named KomeKome (she and HaChaPre's Cure Honey would totally be besties, though);

The Blue Cure is Fuwa Kokone, aka Cure Spicy. She's a pretty and stylish young girl, who loves girly and cute things. Her motif is bread (like sandwiches), and her mascot is a female dog-like fairy named PamuPamu;

The Yellow Cure is Hanamira Ran, aka Cure YumYum. She's a curious and very talkative young girl. Her motif is ramen, and her mascot is a male dragon-like fairy named MenMen.

PERSONAL OPINIONS:

They all look adorable, 'nuff said. If anyone talks shit about their designs, it's on sight;

People were discussing about how this upcoming season would be similar to KiraPre, but it seems that it'll combine some elements from HealPre, given that each girl has their own mascot;

Given my history with yellow-coded magical girls and that ramen is my favourite food, I have the strong feeling that Cure YumYum will be my favourite;

Ever since the Hugtto fiasco, the male characters in this season (specially Rosemary and the mystery man on the poster not sure if they are the same person or not) are on fucking thin ice for me;

There's also a teenaged antagonist named Gentle (who still doesn't have a proper bio added). How much you guys wanna bet that she'll be a mid-season Cure?
