Hello everyone and good morning from the UK 🇬🇧 Today I’ll be joining in with #boycottinstagram2022 and won’t be opening the app from 9am until midnight. I’ll be using this time to read and not be distracted by my phone! 😂 Here’s a book haul until I return. Oh the things I’ve heard about A Certain Hunger! Dorothy Daniels has always had a voracious and adventurous appetite. Dorothy has never been shy about indulging her exquisite tastes - even when it leads to her plunging an ice pick into her lover’s neck. 😳 Next up, another addition to my British Library Tales Of The Weird. It’s called Our Haunted Shores, Tales From The Coasts of the British Isles. This includes stories of woeful shipwreck, lighthouse terrors and uncanny revenants amid the bustle of the harbour side. Finally, Us Three which I was given to read by a friend. I’m COMPLETELY cover judging and it doesn’t normally look like the kind of book I’d pick up but I’m going to give it a chance! It’s the story of three girls, best friends since childhood who swore on a Curly Wurly wrapper that they’d always be there for each other. Something happens that shakes their friendship to the core leaving their future in doubt. There’s simply too much to forgive, let alone forget.
