We went to Oostende Voor Anker (as we do every year) and for the first time, a survey was held, so someone suddenly approached us and asked if we'd be okay with participating, we said "yeah sure!"
It was a general questionnaire in the likes of: how would you rate the festival from 1 to 10?, where are you from?, did you visit any other museums/sights or cafés/restaurants in Ostend?, what was your means of transport to get here?
Then came the question: How would you improve this festival?
I answered with the "In Ghent, toilets provided are free and gender neutral, so that would be better here too." (it was 50 cents for a long waiting line for the womans toilets at the one toilet stand there)
Wow woo did that word "genderneutraal" spark a Thing!
She just ended with how we should be happy the toilets function at all and left with that.
I'm sure this survey will be impartial 🙃
