Why ORV fandom is so negative?

I cannot past the opportunity to talk about this, I just opened twitter and it's an accumulation of toxicity bc the LA, this is not the first time that someting like this happens, when the ORV movie was announced those people just jump to say nagative things about someone else's proyect and start demanding like they were Sing Shong or more important that a random guy on internet. When this happend I defended this proyect bc It's adversiting to ORV whether you want it or not, and what ocurred a few weeks after these anouncement? The official license of the English translation.

I'm totally sure that more than one part of the fandom had read ORV in ilegal sites, I'm not gonna judge them in this post, cause the important thing here is that finally ORV is having a translation more accesible to other people that have an interest in the novel/webtoon. But what happened AGAIN when the "Dokja Kim" came out? Negative comments. Comments like "we don't need a translation" (In those literally words!!!) "Better do anything" and more things like that, but the most bothered one "When this translation comes out, I'm gonna fixed it myself" like the legalicy of these kind of products worth anything...

I wish I had screenshots of these exactly comment, but almost I got these ones.

This is the type of people that comes out when the opportunity arrives, like these comments are more than dozens, in many social media, not only twitter, and one thing is that you don't got the intention of watch the movie, It's your decision, but this is messing with the people involved in it, this is being rude for no reason.

People is just derogatory with the cast and with the proyect per se, doing they "own election of actors" with ugly comments in there (bc one thing is recomend an actor an other is denigrate one in favor of another) and sending bad wishes to the movie direction.

And no forgeting to talk about the ones that complains that a real person doesn't look exactly like a 2D character, oh please, most of the people that I had seeing sayin it have no idea about Korean stereotypes, and hopes that a Korean movie fulfill their western desires... That's being loss in the real world.

And with this I just try to say that we have to be open minded, we cannot close our arms to new things, the last comments I saw when I close twitter app were about the people that recently are knowing ORV for the Jisoo's cast and obviously they try to invesigate about the proyect, maybe some of them don't know how to read the novel/manwha, several of us went through that when we were new, why these new group got to be received with bad words, insults, and threats, the ORV fandom is looking like a toxic one, not allowing new people to enter. So I invite you to speak good about this story, letting new people to know why we read 551 chapters and probably more.

I'm sure that If you are kind with people they will be kind back with you.

so! the hunt is over. the survivors in gwanghwamun begin to recollect themselves. there were quite a few deaths... but everyone is calmer than expected. the incarnations obediently follow bang cheolsoo's orders, but they're not following him because they respect cheolsoo. this efficient atmosphere was forged by yoo joonghyuk over the past 45 days, and the incarnations follow bang cheolsoo under yjh's shadow. which gets lhh thinking. what kind of ending does the 41st dream of? he never asked. he's about to think about it more, but bang cheolsoo comes forward.

cheolsoo says he's okay, but he's badly injured. a stab wound from the neck to the chest, and wrapped wounds on the thighs and arms... but he's still standing strong. kdj takes notice and compares him to lhs, muttering something about having to rewrite his power balance chart. lhh agrees to share the 5th grade monster's loot with geumho station, while he takes the 4th grade for himself. kdj talks to bihyung to put that on the dokkaebi exchange, and comes back saying it was sold to some people in the united states. america... kdj confirms it's who lhh was thinking of. lhh and jhw, the main contributors to the scenario, also got a low grade dragon's heart as a reward, which can be seen as some kind of elixir. kdj recommends finding a specialist to help absorb it. the heavenly beggar is busy, but kdj says he knows someone outside of korea who lhh can meet soon... i wonder who that could be. surely not the girl with [elixir maker].

anyway, kdj's words cut off and lhh goes to check on jhw. she's still asleep after taking ellain's forest essence, and there's a few messages

[The character 'Jung Heewon' is relying on you.] [The target's 'Madness' is currently quiet.]

lhh wasn't able to prevent jung heewon from becoming the crazy butcher. but she seems a little different from the original crazy butcher, who was a person obsessed with the family she had lost... <- i.. i don't think lhh is realizing the impact he is having on jhw..?

a notification of the exchange transaction comes in, and lhh gets 150,000 (!) coins in advance. kdj comes back, and after making sure nobody else is in the room, takes out the kdj fragment doll. kdj says that lhh has already collected 6 fragments, which confuses lhh. when did he collect all those fragments? then, some scenes come to mind.

saving max at chungmuro station, changing the fate of bang cheolsoo and the people of geumho station, meeting the 41st shin yoosung, fighting the beggars sect's sect leader, and when making dansu ahjussi the king of no killing...

the 'loss' he had collected. it was all fragments. some of them had gotten stuck, fallen asleep in the stories they had wanted to see. that also explains why his skills leveled up so quickly, and how he [sentence reinforcement] and [omniscient reader's viewpoint] after collecting the loss... the more fragments he collects, the closer he'd get to a complete 'kim dokja'. but there's no time to delay now, kdj warns that the black hand would come back again. is that hand the reason why kdj is split up? kdj dodges the question. he might remember when the doll is absorbed. he reaches for the doll, and.

「“Nice to meet you. I’m Kim Kyungsik. Do you remember the messages I sent you before?”」

「“Ah, I’m an old man here so I’ll speak like an old man.”」

this doll was someone he knew. kim kyungsik. the old man he had met at the theater dungeon, who had read orv 6 times. what will happen to him when he absorbs this fragment? kdj gives a warning, as the air sparks as a sign that the crack in the air was returning. lhh asks if there's a way to save him, and kdj says maybe. but he had to get his soul back first. lhh doesn't have a choice. he offers the doll to htten.

The Story moved to consume the fragment as it had before. But it was different from the last time when it had greedily consumed the Story Fragment. There was a feeling of the doll being very gently enveloped, as if swallowing a brittle cookie. At the last moment, the doll secretly opened its eyes and looked at me. 「"At last."」

absorbing the fragment, there's a series of messages. 20 days are added to his time to live, and kim kyungsik's exclusive skill, [smoke man]. a skill that lets him turn into smoke with a smoking pipe. and then, a voice rings out from behind lhh

"You... what did you just do?"

the door was open, and someone was standing there.

it's... koo sunah. the reader who had been with kim kyungsik in the theater dungeon. how much had she seen? all she should have seen was him with the kim dokja doll, right..? then sunah asks how he has that skill. skill? lhh looks down. oh... his fingertips are smoky... this is a misunderstanding. lhh tries to talk this out, but orv activates, and lhh sees how kks had died. him and sunah were attacked by the misreading association, and he had been poisoned. kyungsik told her to run, and she did. she had buried her emotions, but seeing his skill, the guilt she had been turning away from came back. she runs off, and kdj stops lhh from chasing her. this isn't something he can't solve.

they have to prepare for the next scenario. lhh had originally planned to participate in the end of the 7th scenario with yjh, but, well, things happened. and now things may have gone badly. 41yjh's regression depression is worse than usual, and kdj says that he might kill anna if lhh gets there too late. but, the way he said anna's name... and jung heewon and lee hyunsung as well. he's not referring to them in a friendly manner. is it because he doesn't consider this world his own? or is he purposely trying to distance himself? lhh calls out to kdj and asks. who the hell split up kim dokja?

kim dokja dodges the question. says his memory is still missing when pushed. and then midday tryst overloads. luckily, coins can be paid for extra probability. lhh waits for kdj to start talking again... but he doesn't speak. is he not talking because he doesn't want to pay the coins..??? lhh decided to not do anything to see what happens.

lhh pays the coin cost.

a portal appears in the center of gwanghwamun, and out steps some people who weren't korean. and someone shouts out that they're here for the 4th grade's parts.

it's selena kim!! as expected, it was zarathustra who bought the 4th grade monster. lhh goes over and they greet each other, and she seems to have met yjh before as well. another person butts in as well, a girl with faint pink hair who's slightly shorter than selena kim. lhh doesn't know who this is, but she's rude. lhh isn't nice in return, but she doesn't seem fazed. and then lee hakhyun sees the pocket watch in her hands. and he can't look away. activating incite, he realizes what item it is. the 'pocket watch of eternal sleep'. and only one incarnation in wos had that item... the finger snapper, christina page. who was previously mentioned once before in the early chapters of season 1, as the other incarnation who cleared the scenario through incitement killing

even though he used incite to protect himself, his ability was lower, and as his skills were sealed for just two seconds due to that. but with just those two seconds,

"From now on, you..." With Christina's smile, a chilling sensation ran down my spine. "...will fall into a terrible sleep." Along with the sound of fingers snapping, my stream of consciousnesses abruptly cut off.

lee hakhyun gets hypnotized and passes out right where he stands.

selena questions christina. this wasn't planned? christina says that there was a reason anna sent her, and she taps cheon inho's forehead. just look at him. she's been in the fbi for a few years, and that guy just looks like a criminal. she's going to just go on without him, but someone grabs her finger.

why is cheon inho still awake? her hypnosis should have knocked him out for at least a full day. and... why is she immobilized from just her finger being grabbed? cheon inho complains about having to use coins, and christina is frozen by the status emanating from him.

[The constellation 'Demon King of Salvation' is staring at you.] She couldn't turn her head. She felt as if someone terrible would face her if she turned her head. A pale, cold hand lightly grabbed her shoulder. "I was only going to take 500,000 coins, but... you guys, I can't." Together with a light spark, a cold breath like the whisper of a devil touched the tip of her ear. "Go tell Anna to show her face."

selena can't understand what's unfolding in front of her. the former fbi agent and the brain of zarathustra, christina page, was currently bending over backwards for this random guy, as he haggles the price of the 4th grade monster up to 650,000 coins. and there's something even weirder. this guy, who was so cold to christina, was nice to her...

and you know who is even more bewildered? lee hakhyun, currently watching from outside his body. the coins being sponsored to him was going directly to the person currently possessing his body. and kdj can't leave, because if he did the hpynosis would just cause him to fall asleep again. how did he even get in, anyway? it's only the seventh scenario and he definitely doesn't have the probability... or was it [omniscient reader's viewpoint]. but it only works on 'characters'... by any chance...?

nah. it's cheon inho. right, what the hell happened to cheon inho? where is his soul?? when 3rd sys left 41st sys's body, 41 sys came back, so the same should have happened here... but he didn't come back. another question to throw on the pile.

christina hands over the 650k coins, which kim dokja happily takes. and says again that he's leaving with them to go meet anna. didn't you hear from joonghyukie? he was coming to the us as well. selena agrees for the both of them, and kdj leaves a note for jhw as he leaves for america. heading to the portal, lhh asks if kdj has ever been to america. lhh has never been outside korea, and he didn't expect his first time overseas would be like this. but i guess to a constellation going abroad is no big deal. going through the portal, they end up in a desert, the outskirts of las vegas.

they get in a ride to the city center, where anna and yjh are. kdj comments on the car, and then... asks christina if he can take a nap. kdj explains that [orv] has a time limit and costs probability, so he's conserving time by limiting his time. lhh takes this time to confront lhh on the coins kdj stole from him. kdj ends orv. maybe he signed a contract with the demon king of 9 won...

why '9 won'? this is a pun salvation = 구원(guwon). 구(gu) = 9, and 원 = won, south korea's currency

anyway, kdj seriously goes to sleep. christina and selena talk a bit, and <asgard> comes up. the whole of asgard can't be contacted, which is odd. something big must have happened to take all their interest. and then christina says she was able to get in contact with one of them, who said something strange. asking about a demon king.

<asgard> knows about dkos?

how?? information from readers would have filtered, and it's not likely that they would have been the ones that killed kim dokja... another unanswered question. whatever. hypnotists have a greater sense of spirit than other incarnations, which is probably why christina was able to catch on that kdj was dangerous. they continue their conversation in group chat, so lhh can't listen to any more.

looking at cheon inho's face, there's times when it actually does look like his face. christina called it the face of a con artist... but shin yoosung called him handsome... maybe he should get [preserve humidity] like kdj. thinking of it now, kdj is rather thorough abt self management, huh. just look at cheon inho, with the turtleneck tidied up and the neck pillow he got before sleeping...

...neck pillow?

lhh checks the item information. sss grade neck pillow, made by mass production maker with a cute dokkaebi on it, which costs... 10,000 coins... kdj chooses then to wake up. and they argue about the neck pillow. kdj also mentions that yjh and ysa also used it. yjh???? anyway, lhh is eventually convinced. as the city of las vegas comes into view, two system messages appear. the 7th and 8th main scenarios... are occuring at the same time? something's wrong. the 7th scenario is monster invasions, and the 8th is unknown. it was the strongest sacrifice in korea in the 3rd turn, so hopefully it's not as bad here.

the constellations aren't impressed by las vegas. the whole world is a place to gamble on incarnations for the constellations, why would they be drawn to a place where humans gamble? but this is the zarathustra's home. as they open the door to the vehicle, there's a crowd that greets them. but it's not their group. kdj seems to know who they are, remarking that the las vegas civil war seems to have not ended yet. usually there would have been a unification of power under a single king, but it looks like america's 'absolute throne' also lost its power after lhh killed the founder of the absolute throne. anna probably had some trouble with that. the leader of the group comes forward, a hispanic man with a cowboy hat and silver cross necklace, jacob martinez. the king of north las vegas.

martinez talks to selena, saying that he wants to meet with anna, demanding compensation for the damage to his group after the subjugation of the fourth grade (apparently one appeared here as well). they argue some more, until christina frowns and comes in. things escalate, with martinez taking out a pistol and christina holding her pocket watch. and suddenly, there's two of him. christina puts her hands in the air and drops her pocket watch. lhh is impressed, and asks how he did that. avatar? is martinez also a writer? kdj says that martinez is a 'magician'.

holding the gun to christina and aiming at selena, says he'll count to three. if anna is really a prophet, she'll come out on her own. either that, or she doesn't value them. counting down to one, he motions to pull the trigger.

but someone was faster. kim dokja, with his hand on the pistol, says that anna won't come out. because she can't see the future. everyone is stunned, as nobody here had seen him move.

[The Story 'Pebble and I' has stopped its storytelling.]

martinez belatedly comes to his senses and pulls the trigger, but. the pistol doesn't fire.

taking the gun, kim dokja aims the gun toward the sky and pulls the trigger.

she can't see the future, because he's here.
