Originally I saw every Tom Cardy song as it’s own individual thing existing in their own universe, but after he mentioned a guy named Michael in two of his songs a story started to take form.

In both High Five and Flirt (With Your Dad) Tom talks about sleeping with Michael’s parents.

After that I like to think the songs where the character Tom is being especially dickish take place in the same universe. For example, Michael made the mistake of letting Tom join his DnD nights in Perception Check.

Eventually Michael convince Tom to see a psychologist only for Tom to pull a Joker and seduce the doctor and make him just as crazy as himself.

If I could animate I’d show Michael sitting in the waiting room listening to the whole thing in absolute disbelief and despair. (Edit: Actually I just illustrated it with a comic instead LINK)
