you're never underdressed for dennys they're where you end up in the middle of a cross-country car trip when you haven't slept for thirty hours and you just want to face-plant in some pancake bites

well yeah or where you go when it’s midnight and you and your friends are all dressed up from that dance you went to and half of you haven’t eaten dinner and you’re all feeling awake and having fun and so not ready to head back to your dorms/apartments yet

...point is the last few times i’ve been to dennys i’ve been in a dress and makeup with my hair all done nicely and the like and surrounded by friends in similar situations, so going for brunch with my grandparents and sibs in a tshirt and jeans felt amusingly odd

For heterosexuality: although it does technically apply to my situation (I'm nb, married to a cis man), I've often had it used in ways that are meant to erase my sexuality and imply I'm straight (I'm bi), so I don't use it. Others may not mind.

Tried to send an ask but my inbox freaked out, so sending an abridged version: nonbinary bi person, here to note that that definition of bisexuality is outdated and isn't the one the community uses. Bisexuality and pansexuality overlap a lot, and bisexuality DOES include nonbinary people. Currently accepted definitions of bisexuality are: attracted to 2 or more genders, attracted to same and other genders. :3
