Oohhh nicee!! I know March, ash, don are major fan favorites from what I have seen? But it flip flops alot because then we have about you and shadow sometimes popping up at the top bside wise and I think its just fun to see what fans like and enjoy from bsides! Especially with how sometimes different they can sound and it fits peoples tastes and such. For me I'm leaning towards ash and March along with shadow but hot? Omg my most overplayed song rn like YouTube is very much side eyeing me with how many times I watched the mv, dance, 8d version, everything lol xD it is a fun song and yes, I cannot help but do the body roll while humming the song and doing the dishes lolol. I believe the comeback was short? Sorry am a bit behind with svt news as I'm all over the place personally which is a shame but also I do know they have their tour so maybe that could be why as well? Despite it being short promotion wise, I am happy with it because of all the praise this album got and as mention, jun, hao and seungkwan are all getting alot of attention!! Don't get me wrong, I think everyone very much owned this era and everyone is chefs kiss but those 3 to me are the most stand outs if you will? Like their aura on stage is just SOOO fun to watch and I always hold my breath as cliche as that sounds xD (funny about the no showing with seungkwan jdjwjdjsj he showed a lil bit according to boo fans so he has joined the dark side lol) especially since like for seungkwan and jun they aren't always like, shared outside of their bubble of being performers more like the funny people with the memes ya know what I mean? (Idk if I am explaining this correctly fnsndjsj) people are being drawn into their performance and its so nice to see people going 'why hello there who is this!?' And I get all giddy and happy because its nice to see them being praised as performers! Like you said, jun's fancams are getting alot of love and as he should! Its cute to see him get flustered about the praise but I hope he feels proud of the hard work ya know? (Also jun being a fboy!?! Jesus i never knew this was a thing nd I joined the fandom during DWC lolol. Maybe I wasn't deep in the fandom and thats why? I always saw fans calling him handsome but the funny quirky guy? Which fits him i mean he is attractive but this guy just lives his life peacefully and with a hot dog machine while giving heart eyes to seventeen members but I am a baby jun bias so correct me of course!)

I saw you got tickets and so happy for ya!! Congrats to everyone that got tickets and to those that didn't, don't feel bad!! You can get them resale or its also ok if not! Doesnt make you less of a fan and they are holding an online concert as well I believe so you can try that as well! To everyone seeing svt the first time, super fun and hopefully this time we get luck with a full svt again this tour jfjsjdjs. As for me, we got tickets!! We checked both ticketmaster and vividseats on the day of general and we got better pricing for vivid so we got those there! Granted idk when my friend will get them so if anyone has advice do share! I hope we get them because I will feel bad if she paid and we don't get them. But interesting? I know from my experience at ode in Chicago when we got the day on the time they open doors, we went to our seats and got in line and lightsticks were instantly gone and sold out so I guess the best thing is to either arrive super early OR instantly go in line? I bought mine before so I'm good there!

lol i also do the point choreo whenever i'm listening to it and i'm by myself, it's just too addicting dfkjhg yeah the promotion period was a bit short most bc of concert preparation, their seoul concert is in like a week believe it or not. but it also it seems like their last several comebacks have had shorter promotional periods, which i'm guessing is a combination of them being an older/well known group + focusing more on western/international promotions in recent years

yeah i mean not everyone was explicitly calling him a fuckboy all the time. tbf i also joined the fandom in 2017, but from what i've gathered predebut through 2016 was when the worst of that kind of stuff was going on in the fandom (including other just... bad jokes lmao). but his image even back in 2017 was definitely more along the lines of "handsome guy who's really confident/narcissistic" than it was "funny goofy guy". like it's not to say that ppl didn't talk about him being goofy back then but it just wasn't his main image if that makes sense. and even if he was seen as goofy he definitely wasn't seen as innocent by the majority of the fandom back then lol

thank you! i'm not familiar with vividseats but yes hopefully it works out and you're able to go! and yeah if you want a lightstick you have to rush straight to the merch booth as soon as the doors open, no time to go to your seats first lol! but me and my friend did manage to each get one. we were near the doors when they opened but not like the first ones to go in and we went directly to the merch booth. i think there were like ~8 lines at the one booth we went to and maybe 10 or so people in each line before we got there? i was with 3 other people and only me and one other friend wanted a lightstick but all 4 of us each got in separate lines to placehold in case one moved faster. my two friends that weren't buying anything got out of line once we all started getting closer to the front. but it ended up working out and me and my friend both got lightsticks!

BUT yay!! Im not really friends with skz fans (or i am but I just don't know it nor am I deep in the community anywhere so I'm happy I can share this with ya! But ahh I agree! I mean I understand why it might be uncomfy which is valid but I also think it is ok to watch old content. I mean I think the same way with monsta x like it hurts not to see wonho but I STILL enjoy their old stuff because it is entertaining (yes two different scenarios but I hope you know what I mean) and the first finding skz is so fun!! Alot of the scenes in the show I have seen in like, youtube compilations of funny moments fans should know and I was confused where some of them were from bUt as I watched finding skz I was like "omg I know this now!" Like I always saw the moment of hyunjin wearing those poor slippers in the first episode in many compilations so now I know where it came from (but also poor hyunjin like I was wheezing but I felt bad for him) or like the final episode they are just chaotic lol like their trainee back stories im like what? XD han eating ice cream in his sleep? Thats hilarious but cute also. The Australia is very much wholesome, I was just smiling the entire time. Both chan and felix planning was thoughtful and the fact they shared it with the members makes me feel so warm inside. I can make an entire essay on this episode alone but I won't, I don't think it would send my ask lolol. So yes I agree it is fun watching groups grow and you go back to watch how they started and see them now. They changed but also haven't if that makes sense? (Omg when his hair is fluffy while being blonde!? Jdjajsjjs just yesss. Idk why but it reminds me of an elf? Like blonde fluffy chan is an elf confirmed)

But oohhh that's so interesting to know! I am now going to try to find other end of the year performances they remixed hehe which if I may ask since you are the resident skz president, which is your favorite remix stage they did? Love our self producing beans, very much yes to the svt x skz similarities! Its why I think for me, it was so easy to get into skz (outside of their music of course) due to their dynamic is very much like svt. Plus some ARE friends with each other (minho and seungkwan or vernon and chan are friends!)

I also agree its a tricky position to become a fan of a group after a member has left, no matter what the circumstances are (skz being v different from mx but i totally understand what you meant) I know when I get into groups i also watch a billion compilations of things and its always so exciting to see where they're from when you start to really dive deep. skz i think also has a lot of moments in their content that somehow doesnt make it into comps a lot even though I think theyre some of their funnier moments so it really is satisfying to go deep diving for them in particular.

Let's see if i can remember some of their changed stage mixes lol

Theres this Side effects | I am You (ballad Version) | Victory Song | and obviously all their kingdom performances were super changed versions of songs. Also all of their end of the year performances in 2020 of gods menu had different mixes and dance breaks (poor Chris so much remixing of that song lmao) my favorite is the I am you from this concert (it's at 1:15:10) also heres the second half if you just wanna see the whole concert lol

I know that Minho and Seungkwan are definitely friends, and that all of svt definitely know skz. most recently in Jenghan's live he talked about Minho accidentally starting a live from the skz staff account asfgd and Chris has said multiple times that svt is a group that really takes care of skz which obviously makes me wanna scream and cry :D

On one hand bein ace doesn’t mean I can’t think people are attractive, on the other I experience all things in extremes so most people are really boring to look at to the point I never remember any details about their appearance (”like my hair cut?” “you.... you got a hair cut?”), or they’re very very noteworthy and I can no longer function in their presence (cause i wanna stare at them but thattts weird).

18. IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD YOU GO: The easy one to say would be Japan.... but to visit some of my online friends would be even better! Honestly, I find just going grocery shopping with my friend to be an adventure, I am sure visiting any of my friends in their hometowns, be they cities or small towns, I would find every day exciting. I have deep puppy energies.

19. INTROVERT OR EXTROVERT: Introvert. I get so tired, my friend has told me to take a nap mid-party before. But like, as you hear, I love parties. I super love socializing, but oof I do get drained. If I could sit with people, no-energy, no-obligation, free to chat or chill, that’d be the dream. And I have a lot of those with my best friend, except with the minor energy obligation of transportation and sometimes other people....

20. DO YOU SCARE EASILY: Incredibly. I’m a huge baby, incredibly squeamish, easily startled, easily paranoid. I’m scared of the dark still, I don’t watch horror movies unless the monster is sexy.

21. IPHONE OR ANDROID: fuck em both, i still have iphone

22. DO YOU PLAY ANY VIDEO GAMES: I’m primarily a simulator/rpg/sandbox kind of gamer. Animal Crossing, Minecraft, WoW, Starbound, Sims 4... Yeah. I can’t even play Mario or Left 4 Dead very well but like I like them?? Game with meee, I don’t do that much, it would be fun tho,,,

23. DREAM JOB: If I’m god damn honest I hate the idea of a job deep down in my soul. Call it bein’ lazy but man I want my life to involve somethin more than making money to survive, that’s all I’ve ever done and I’d like to stop. But being able to help others, being a resource, brightening peoples day, being involved in something that enriches the world somehow. These kind of things make a good fit for work, and if it pays good, and I can build a routine around a solid schedule, then I guess I could live with whatever.

24. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH A MILLION DOLLARS: Do the math for how much I need to survive for the rest of my life, bare minimum style, then cushion that a little. Buy myself and my friends some nice things. Start giving money to strangers. Funnel it into important things that need to get paid for. Quit my job, travel, get extensive therapy, join fucking causes I wish I had the physical & mental resources for now, finally be able to put my passion into things again. Lmao money can’t buy happiness my a s s.

25. FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU HATE: hmmmmmmm........ hate it such a strong word. I just keep thinking of characters I LOVE to hate or like characters who are obviously hateable (intolerable villains). But I wanna pick one I genuinely dislike, deep down, for reasons.

wh which are particularly bad..? im kind of afraid considering what youve already posted but oh well

Well the worst one by far was astarotte no omocha, which I've already talked about. A 23 year old man with a 10 year old daughter is brought to a fantasy world to be part of the princess's harem, who is a 10 year old succubus who will need to suck dick to survive once she reaches maturity. She, incidentally, is his daughter's half sister, because the queen (succubus adult) was the one who banged mc when he was 12 and had his child. At the end they fall in love and it shows that she's beginning to reach maturity. If that's not bad enough, there's tons of fanservice and the plot is full of holes. It's altogether pretty badOutside of that, there's "in another world with my smartphone." This one's about a guy who is sent to another world by god and he gets to keep his smartphone. He also becomes the best wizard who's ever lived. There's uh 5 or 6 or 7 schools of magic (water, fire, etc.) And most people are only able to do one or two, but he can do all of them. There's also spells unique to certain people that nobody else can do, and most people get like one, but he can do all of those too. They also cop out of all the cool potential fights by having him just cast the slip spell, which makes you fall over and then suddenly you realize you can't win and you worship him. He can also channel his spells through his smartphone to like, use the map as an item detector or whatever. Also every girl he meets falls in love with him and by the end of the show he is engaged to 5 of them at once and they're all fine with that. There's also death March to the parallel world rhapsody or something. In that one, the guy is programming a game for his company and suddenly gets sucked in. There's a huge army approaching but because he was putting in an item for noobs that lets you basically nuke all enemies in case of emergency, he instantly got boosted to max level. Any time he can't do something he just maxes out his skill level with his infinite unallocated skill points. Girls love him too but the plus side is that there are some cute animal girls, even though they're technically his slaves. But of course he respects women so he doesn't treat them badly. One thats airing now is "how not to summon a demon lord", which is about two girls who try to summon a demon lord and enslave him, but they accidentally summon someone who was so good at the game they live in that he was called the demon lord, and he got a special item that reflects all magic attacks so their enslavement magic is reflected and they become his slaves. The one is an elf with huuuuge tiddies and the other is a flat catgirl. His magic ability is of course impossible to measure because it's so high and he destroys an army of super powerful demonic creatures in one hit. There's a lot of really really fanservicey scenes and the elf is basically always shoving her tits in his and your face, and they all sleep in the same bed, and he tried to look at the elfs magic energy and it required the closest they could get to showing sex on screen without it actually being sex.These guys all basically have the same personality and hair. They're all like "oohhh i like and respect women and i'm powerful but i dont feel like i'm better than anyone and i love helping people." The last one puts on a front of being a demon lord but he's bad at it and constantly talks about how awkward it is. They're all like how weebs see themselves and they think "I'd be so much cooler in a different world and this is how I'd be and how popular I'd be with the ladies" but in reality they'd just be fat lazy bums who don't contribute to society and whine about how nobody likes them. The one i'm watching now (knights and magic) isn't as bad. It's still like a mech weeb fantasy and there's a lot of plot holes and awkward pacing but it does have cool robots and i feel bad making fun of things i'm not super interested in (mecha) b.c. what right do i have? But i can say whatever i want about regular fantasy isekais bc i love fantasy.

yesss i agree with the melodies/rap/instrumentals not 'matching' and honestly that's why i'm kinda impressed by how well 127 are pulling it off like?? how hard must have it been to record it?? and oohhh mad props to the choreographer especially for being able to choreograph something to cohesive for such an unconventional song (esp those textures like during the sticker x3 part in the chorus)!!

i Loooveee how you talked about their vocals and how they play around with them, youre so observant and well spoken i need to listen to the album again to pay attention to all those details now!!

goooddddd lemonade is Totally jaehyun's song YOU RIGHT like ive missed his deep rapping voice that he hasnt used for a while now if im remembering correctly?? like since he's got such a great singing voice but this. soft. extra. deep. voice. was A Lot. its Such a nice contrast to the really loud pre chorus of the song and just yeah. jaehyun supremacy

cant believe you said promise you is a perfect end of concert song bc thats the Exact thought i had (and now i wanna go to a concert so bad 😫) and its literally what im feeling the most right now - that fun elated feeling it gives but at the same time its kind of sad? nostalgic? almost bittersweet and i love it. focus is also kind of mellow and makes me feel like im in outer space or floating and gooosshh magic carpet ride almost made me cry. maybe im just in a bad mood and inclined to the sad-ish songs lmao but these are the ones i cant stop listening to!

oooh you're right, when i watched the performance earlier i was thinking that it's such a hard son to pull off live with the mix of the dance and the changes in flow and melodies but i didn't even think about the recording, especially because even the vocalists have lines with very intense flow this time. and yes the choreo really fits the song and kind highlights different details and each members gets to show some personnality, it plays with dynamics a lot so it fits the song well in that sense (going from slow or very fast, alternating between solo/duo moves or unison, members at the back are often moving very little while the person at the front sings and also there are several moments where they kind of "control" each other? i'm really looking forward to the dance practice to be able to see everything lol) it also must've been quite hard to follow the beat while learning the choreography!

haha their vocals are what i usually get lost in because they always showcase new things while building on to what they've already proven to be great at so i love talking about them, they never let you forget that they have many different members and that they are a group meaning they can bring both harmonies and volume as well as different colours, ranges and powers in solo parts and that is sooo cool (like that part in lemonade where doyoung and yuta do the same part at the same time? or in bring the noise i think there's this part where taeyong is rapping kind of agressively so you get his own voice grit and in the back someone is doing the same line but super high! or how in rainy nights they add harmonies and runs at the end of some lines and not on all the words etc i love the different levels of fullness in a sound a group of that size can bring, it reminds me of when i did choir lol)

honestly jaehyun is such a versatile member vocally, he's not necessarily the most powerful one (but that's also because he's in the same group as taeil and doyoung lol), he's the only baritone so he naturally has a lower range than the others while still being able to go high but also that means he can play around like he does in lemonade and brings a lot of depth without any strain and always sounding full and soft in contrast to the instrumental but also he can do his parts in sticker (some of which are quite high for his range) or do ballads and sounds so fitting and emotional !! he can also make harmonies fuller because of his range, they utilize him so differently depending on the genre of the song (like how in punch he was the only vocalist who also did the whisper rap with mark and taeyong but then he opens rainy night!) and i personnally love lower voices ((i'm still waiting for my lower voices nct unit 🙏🙏) so lemonade thank you 🙏🙏

aaah that's the perfect description of this song, also fitting since it's the end of the album lol it's an ending and a promise to get more so it has a very lingering feeling, and on re-listen magic carpet is so soft but also so emotional omg and you're right focus feels like there's no gravity with all the little soft beeps and distorted little synths in the back and the little runs and echos in their voices, honestly they're all good and they explore so many moods that all selection is a good one haha

Loves Company is the first poker pair fic i read that gave me hope for this ship. it’s so light and funny and good and went a long way to inspiring me to continue writing for the pair.Some Minor Issues looks like it’s only just been started and I honestly cant wait for more. Modern AU where Tyki is the son of a mob boss, the best trans Allen i’ve ever read (in a world of fem!allen i have finally found an oasis of casual and accurate representation). definitely excited to see where it goes, if it goes, idk if it’s gonna be continued or what but !!!!Reapers is another new one, and the title kinda says it all lol. Allen and Lavi are reapers working for the Earl, and Allen is designated Tyki’s personal servant ahahaha

While You Sleep is somehow the only soulmates au (that i know of) and i love it?? its amazing and cute, where each Allen and Tyki sees through the other’s eyes in their dreams.Mr. Poker Face is super funny and lighthearted - i love the flow of dialogue, it’s so quick and witty and them I honestly yelled a lil when I saw it’d been updated with a second chapter.How to Build a Life Together depicts snapshots of Tyki and Allen, uh. Building a life together i guess lol. Each chapter is a different point in their relationship, starting from the point where Tyki gives Allen a rock (and not in the traditional sense. That comes later lmao).

It’s beautiful, subtle, quiet, so bitter and sweet, but somehow not bittersweet and i honestly. i dont know how to explain how that’s possible but it is and it’s perfect and i will scream from the top of mount fucking ararat about how good it is til the day i drop dead okay like. if you read only one fic from this list, let it be this one.idk why i thought they’d written more tykillen than that, probably because it was so fucking good and the characterisation was flawless, but for the life of me i can’t find any others for this ship by them so…??? but lots of link/allen if ur into that. i haven’t read them personally but if shutdown is any indication they’re gonna be lit like a talking bush.

Ahh ruby is one i keep coming back, like constantly. Its my main song I played so far (right behind tiger inside. I blame minho doing the cover lolol) for the new year and honestly, not complaining. I could do an essay about how much I love the orchestral opening and how it tricks you before it switches 180 on the listener BUT I write way too much as it is so tldr be blessed with musical genius stuff with ruby when listening to it

Oohhh a gfx tutorial would be fun to see (I love seeing how people do their creations, like everyone has their own little dazzle to the steps and it is fun seeing how it becomes the finished product!) But only do it if you wanna and have time! No doubt probably would take time to do one so while I am curious on your process, I can understand if not showing! But agreed!! Groups are bound to have loads of content so you will find one you missed even when active and up to date! Ahh yes, yes!! It feels very special to be like "in on the joke" so to speak. I love watching content where fans edit moments like say a going seventeen episode to make a summary but also include the funny moments. That helped me alot with getting into groups like skz. Also thank you, I can't help but feel annoying at times(?) Especially to you since you have better things to do than to talk to a random potato on anon jdjsjdjjs

I think the way I usually get into groups is slide shows that me and a couple of my friends make. The process of making a slideshow about a group really helps focus on learning things and then receiving slideshows is so fun and a great way to learn ^^ we make them on google docs and then facetime to present them lol. we have so many at this point, for like almost every group we like lol. my skz one is MASSIVE
