dracula and arthuriana! arthurianas going into its second year anniversary while draculas heading for its first (i may start labeling my dracula fixation as a gothic literature special interest depending how frankenstein j&h and dorian gray go lol)

💎when and how did you discover your special interest?

arthuriana-had an oc named after mordred for funsies, tried looking into actual mor for oc basis purposes, fell into rabbit hole instead of paying attention to class

dracula-was reading casually and then renfield got introduced next

🌠whats a past special interest?

pokemon digimon barbie and whatever gorey anime youtube would recommend me were some kindergarten and elementary icons lol

either hello kitty or ppg cuz i have photos of very early birthday parties for those! tho i remember watching pokemon before i was even going to school lol

Xamag : She is the biggest inspiration of all, her colors choices and ideas and character designs are amazing! Just-- just look at those colors~ BBR is a very beautiful comic and I hope she continues it one day

Glider : I first knew them through their Vocaloid PVs and it’s still my favorite Vocaloid videos of all (Kokoro Kiseki is probably the first Vocaloid video i ever saw and it hold special place in my heart)

@hibrid56 : I always adore his cute & gory style since homestuck era! His style is looks simple but really cute~ just look at that~ so adorable /// (and mono is precious bless him)

Bleedman : He also have simple and cute style (despite the fan services...) but surprisingly fluid poses! Checkout GrimTales or ppg doujinshi on Snafu for those

@unknownpsn : GOSH DAMN I LOVE UNKNOWN-PERSON!! I knew his animation on deviantart with Climber and that just cemented my whole ambition on animation!! THIS GUY RIGHT THERE!! CLIMBER!! UNKNOWN’S ANIMATION IS REALLY FLUID AND QUICK LIKE WOOOWWW!!!! I can talk for a long time about this but i save u the cut

@modmad : And speaking of fluid moves, *jazz hands* Modmad’s poses are all so fluids and dynamic its really reaallyy amazing! Don’t even get me started on their background and color choice like.. *jazz hand to TPoH*

Don Rosa : DO I even need to say anything? It’s DON MOTHAFRIKIN ROSA!! Detailed comic panels and really really heart wrenching stories of the ducks family! Just... amazing.. The comic that really hits me tho, it’s The Three Caballeros series, The Duck that Never Was, and all the Life and Time of Scrooge McDuck series, just.. all of them

Sonnyaws : actual angel on earth. really really nice person, and really talented artist. look at her stuff man. Her coloring and lighting is always my go to for learning contrast and bright lighting (im still trying ok)

Guzusuru : Another animation influence. THey’re the one who made the final animation for Homestuck so like... yeah.. look at that video man.. you’ll see why

??? : I’m gonna be honest, the one that really make me try to draw the in between of manga and cartoon is this one particular science comic about Loius Pasteur. I don’t even like him I literally just read the comic from cover to cover because the style is really good and probably the first one I conciously trying to reference at.. and until now I still don’t know the artist name.... orz

Danny Phantom : I would say Butch Hartman but Danny is much more specific. Not much on the character design wise but DP is definitely the biggest insfluence of angst to my 4th grader self :3c

StarFleetRambo : Cute art with all the angst and feels covered w/ beauty colors.

Aoyama Gosho : This guy is the one who made me love detective stories and police drama~ Im in constant lovehate feeling about him WHENISCONANGONNAENDPLISAOYAMAIMBEGGINGYOU
