Jungwon walked through the dinner hall and spotted Jake waving his hand as he signaled him to go to their table. He slowly walked through the crowd and sat down beside Ni-ki, who was eating peacefully. Jake started asking him questions about his life, which made their atmosphere much more relaxed than before, and soon it was time to go to sleep. They quickly went out and got to their respective rooms. Ni-ki then has the idea to prank Jungwon by drawing on his face just before he wakes up.

Morning approached, and Ni-ki walked to Jungwon's room and started to draw a mustache and cat ears as he was sleeping, not knowing this would definitely end badly, but thinking there was nothing wrong with having a little fun. Soon enough, Jungwon had woken up and got up to wash his face when he saw there were drawings on his face, and he could only think of one culprit, and that was Ni-ki. He angrily went to Ni-ki's room and banged on his door to open it. As he opened the door, he punched him directly in the face. This resulted in a minor nose bleed from Ni-ki. The camp counselor happened to be roaming around their rooms when he saw the two boys punching each other, and he had to break the two of them away before any further injuries could be sustained. "Park Jungwon and Lee Ni-ki, pack up your bags right now," the counselor loudly said to the two boys as they begrudgingly went to their rooms to pack their bags.

"The two of you will be sharing the same room and reflecting on this. Your parents will be informed about this incident. No more fighting," he said as he closed the door. "This is your fault. If you didn't draw on my face, then I wouldn't have to punch you," Jungwon said as he looked at Ni-ki. "Well, you didn't have to punch me over a simple prank. Learn to have fun," he replied. Unknowingly, this is the start of their unique friendship.

“oh my god and then my mum said to me that-” your friend pauses mid sentence and glances to somewhere behind you, totally confusing you. it’s when you turn around that you finally understand why.

nishimura.

your cheeks fall a darker shade at the sudden appearance of the boy standing behind you in the classroom, an instant reminder of yesterday’s shenanigans after school.

after the boy had oddly refused to let go of your hand on the bus ride, niki didn’t say a single word to you. he had held your hand until you were at the end of your driveway, only letting go once you had opened your mouth to say bye. it was a weird encounter and definitely one you had a lot of questions about.

and they say girls are complicated.

“i need to talk to you,” is all he says before storming outside the classroom and you follow him out. of course with everyone else watching you as you do.

“what’s... wrong? are you okay?” you ask him once you spot the boy right outside the room, his eyes focused on anywhere but at you. he’s evidently nervous, something you don’t get to see much from the usually confident football team captain.

“come with me somewhere after school.”

“w- why? where to? just us?”

“the mall!” his voice raises slightly, not in a threatening way but he seems rather frustrated at something. “just me and you. come. please.”

the sincerity in his voice has you believing that perhaps this was something important, that this meant a lot to him.

before you could you even answer him, another tall boy comes into your view, the boy you had left at the arcade yesterday.

he catches your gaze from down the hallway, a smirk on his face as he gradually comes closer, until he stops right beside you.

“you forgot this, miss class president.”

you look down at haruto's hand to see a photo sheet, the ones you took with him yesterday. noticing your lack of reaction, haruto places the photo sheet into your hand and disappears into the classroom.

you definitely don’t miss the way niki is staring at it, his eyes gawking over the different photos and presumably the one questionable pose. the one where haruto is hugging you.

“you know what, nevermind. don’t worry about the mall.”

the noticeable change in his voice has your heart dropping and you knew. it was now or never. if you didn’t do anything, you’ll probably regret it later.

“hey-” your hand reacts faster than your head, grabbing onto his arm to prevent him from walking away. he seems just surprised as you are and though hesitant, you knew exactly what you wanted to say to him. “i’ll come. i’ll come with you.”

you’re unsure of his intentions but the soft smile that grows on his face was enough to put you at ease, your heart fluttering into a million butterflies.

It's time for Jungwon to enter camp. Nervous was certainly an understatement for Y/N. Her baby is going to be gone for a whole month. She might be dramatic, but she knows it wasn't the easiest for the both of them. She only wanted her son to have a great time and have good memories from camp.

"Won, my baby. Come here," she called him as they stepped out of the car. "Mom, please, I need to go inside now," he replied back. "Come on now; you will not see me for a month; a kiss and hug won't hurt," she said as she opened her arms to welcome him. "I love you, baby, and call me if anything wrong happens." As he replied, "Yes, mom, I will. I love you too. I'll get going now. See you in a month." as he hurried to the entrance of the camp. She can't believe her baby is now a teenager. Time flies fast indeed.

As the both of them waited for Yn to fetch them. Ni-ki's heart felt like it was jumping out of his chest. The woman who birthed him and the same person he had longed to hug are within arms reach and not a dream. He wondered if she would like him or not, but all of those thoughts went away when they heard a voice just a distance away calling out Jungwon. A beautiful woman came out of the car wearing a simple black dress and waved in their direction. They walked towards her, and she immediately hugged Jungwon, while Ni-ki was silently looking at the mother and son having their moment. This is when Yn noticed Ni-ki's presence and asked him to come near her. He now had a clear view of his mother, whom he only knew through a ripped picture from years ago.

"Hey sweetheart, are you Jungwon's friend?" she asked him, "Yes, I'm his friend. Nice to meet you Ms. Park" in which she replied, "No need to call me Ms. Park, just call me "Aunt Yn" and also does your dad know that we will be with you?" — "Yes, he's aware that i will be with you.", "Okay, thats sounds great and boys go ahead and sit on the car" and while Jungwon sat inside, Ni-ki finally had the courage to ask her for a hug, in which she immediately did as she gave him the tightest hug. He had never felt so happy to be able to see and hug his mom after all these years.

The boys have many questions for their parents. Such as why they are apart, how come they both don't mention they had a twin who belongs to another parent, or how their parents could have just worked it out so all of this mess wouldn't have happened in the first place. But they know their parents don't like this arrangement, and it shows how much the two of them profusely apologize to them for all of this mess. Yn and Heeseung know that this arrangement shouldn't have existed if they weren't stupid years ago, but all they can do is make up to the twins for their mistake and loss of time. Jungwon spoke up first and asked "Mom, I know you and dad had a rough past hence why this arrangement even existed in the first place but were you even planning to tell me that I had a twin all along if I didn't met Ni-ki at camp?" and she replied "I been thinking to tell you about him and your dad but I didn't know what will I do if you asked about their whereabouts when I don't even have your dad's contact number, let alone their address. Despite all that, I was ready to tell you but I just kept pushing it to avoid confrontation. This also had to do with me and your dad arrangement, is where we will claim one twin and never talk nor find each other whereabouts hence you never knew about your twin." Her answer cleared up a question he had been dreading to ask her after all the events unfold. Yn asked the boys why the two of them weren't shocked to learn about them being twins, and they explained to them that the reason why they weren't surprised was because they had already put the pieces together back at camp, from them being allergic to peanuts to them having the other half of a picture of their parents from years ago. As the four of them kept talking until the boys were visibly tired, she asked them to get ready for bed. It was getting late, and Ni-ki asked Heeseung if he could just stay overnight, which you both agreed to and helped him get settled in Jungwon''s room. Once the twins were settled down, he quietly got out of the house as she assisted him to his car. He called for her name and rolled down his windows. "Did you forget something inside? I can get it for you, she said as he looked at her. "No, my things are all here. Just come closer to me, he said, which she did, and he quickly pecked her forehead and rolled his windows up as he quickly left her place. Leaving her speechless in what just happened moments ago and Heeseung blushing as he drove back home as he remembered what he did. As this all unfolded, the twins were witnessing it from their window and thought of a plan to make their parents get back together.

The air felt different as he approached his son, a figure that only he could dream of seeing, just a few distances apart. Something inside him changed, like the first time he saw her while talking to her friends in the hallway — Yn, his first and last love. He was shocked to see his ex-wife after all these years; he held back from hugging her tightly and showering her with all the affection he wished he could give her from all the missed years. "Sweetheart, your dad is here," she said as Ni-ki finally saw his dad. He quickly ran to him and gave him a hug after a month of not seeing him.

It was awkward; he didn't know what to say or do at the moment, but he looked at her with eyes filled with love. She is still the same beautiful woman who didn't fail to make his heart flutter, now standing in front of him. "Hi. Good to see you, Hee." She finally spoke, breaking him out of his thoughts. "Hi. Good to see you too," he replied back. He approached her and asked if he could talk to her. She agreed and asked the boys to wait for them in the nearby coffee shop.

They had walked a few steps, and he broke the silence between them. "So, how have you been? It's been awhile, like 14 or 15 years? Wow, its been so long." — "I agreed. It seems that you're doing well with your company. But there is something I wanna tell you, It's about the twins. To be honest, I don't like this arrangement. The twins are apart and I can't bare it anymore not seeing Ni-ki for any longer. I felt like I failed as a mother to him. They don't deserve to be in between our problems, but now I don't want to be away from him nor hide the fact Jungwon has a twin all along." "I feel the same way. This arrangement doesn't make sense nor benefit the twins. But it's too quick to tell them about the truth right now. Let them hangout with each other. Then, once it's been awhile, we will tell them the truth." — "I'm okay with that. But, I will not lie to you. I really wanna hug him so bad, Hee. However, for now we should head back, the boys are waiting for us." as they walked back to the boys. They said their goodbyes and drove away.

The day flew by quickly, and the boys were fast asleep in their room. Heeseung and Yn finally had the time to properly talk with each other after many years. There was silence between them, but she spoke first. "Heeseung, I'm sorry for everything. I know you will say it was the past or it's not my fault. But I still feel guilty about what my mom did to our family. I wish I fought us more back then, but I was so scared for the twins. I didn't want them being up for adoption, but we have no choice but to divorce and claim one of the twins to save our family, despite it being a hard decision for the both of us." as she tried to talk while fighting back her tears. He replied, "Yn. I will say this time and time again that this isn't your fault nor will be your fault ever. I know we could have fought more back then, but at that time, this decision was the safest for the four of us." as he caressed her cheeks while tears slowly dropped in her face.

Heeseung wasn't liked by Yn's mom since she saw him as a distraction to her, but she couldn't do too much when they got together, though she kept telling her to find a better man than him. On the other hand, Heeseung's parents were so supportive and loving towards them. They were always there for Yn and made her feel like their own daughter. Despite her mom's dislike towards Heeseung, they continued being together, and never once was Heeseung proven to be a distraction towards her, which shows that he wasn't a distraction but instead became her motivator to become better and do well in her classes. Despite that, Yn's mom still saw the boy as a distraction and not fit for her daughter. Her worries grew when she learned that she was conceiving the twins. She didn't know that there was a disaster about to happen once her mom learn about the twins and their marriage.
