#my parents: you need to do something this summer you cant just sit around #me: 'hey i found this course organized by the university about mammals in the pyrenees. it sounds cool' #my mom: 'MAMMALS??? the plant one is more interesting and more related to what you study' #ok. sorry for being interested in things outside my degree. wont happen again <3 #and then people wonder why i dont tell my parents about my interests........ im literally so close to crying bc of this incident #i just???? its A WEEK in the pyrenees and theres hiking and stuff and it sounds interesting! and i wanna get out of the city! #but NO apparently i can only be interested in things that will 'serve a purpose' for my degree. #but at the same time i need to exercise (this wouldve been perfect bc i dont like sports but i love hiking/senderismo) #what am i supposed to do. there is literally NO WAY i can appease both my parents and me at the same time jesus christ #ta esborrar
