Dame Anita Lucia Roddick, DBE, (Littlehampton, Inglaterra, 23/10/1942, Chichesterue, Inglaterra, 11/9/2007) #fundadora, en 1976, de #TheBodyShop, compañía de cosméticos respetuosa con el entorno y que no usaba animales en los experimentos. Activista ecologista. En 1990 fundó #ChildrenOnTheEdge, organización de ayuda a la infancia desprotegida en Europa Oriental y Asia. De familia de emigrantes italianos. Estudió para maestra, viajó por el mundo gracias a un empleo en UN. Se casó en 1970 con el escocés Gordon Roddick. Abrieron un restaurante y luego un hotel y tuvieron 2 hijas. #AnitaRoddick decidió abrir su primera tienda The Body Shop en Littlehampton en 1976. Tenía 15 líneas de productos, era pequeña y estaba entre 2 funerarias. El negocio funcionó y abrió la segunda en 6 meses. En 1991 la cadena tenía 700 tiendas. En 2007, tenía 2.100 tiendas en 55 países, con unos 1.200 produtos. El 13/12/2005 se retiró del mundo de las finanzas y de la empresa y se le calculó una fortuna de 76M de euros. El 17/3/2006 se anunció la compra de The Body Shop por L'Oréal por 180M de euros. La compra fue polémica, pues la cadena francesa sí hace experimentos con animales, y porque forma parte del conglomerado Nestlé, que fue objeto de una de las primeras campañas de Roddick por las ventas de leche en países subdesarrollados. Conocida por su modelo de negocio, donde introdujo la sostentabilidad y la no agresión al entorno. Sus cosméticos además de evitar los experimentos con animales, eran elaborados con productos naturales. El 14/2/2007, un año después de retirarse de la vida empresarial, Roddick reveló que padecía hepatitis C, contraída en una transfusión recibida durante su segundo parto y sufría de cirrosis. Falleció de hemorragia cerebral. Era integrante de Demos, consejo de asesores internacionales en temas de medio ambiente, y de Amnistía Internacional. Desde 1993 apoyó a los ogoni, de Nigeria, que reclamaban contra la petrolera Shell, que estaba devastando sus territorios.   2. Wygląd.

Owczarek niemiecki, należy do ras dużych. Zaliczamy go do psów zaganiających. Sylwetkę posiadają umięśnioną i atletyczną, ( aczkolwiek nie ociężałą ) z mocnymi, prostymi kończynami. Głowa zaś zakończona prostą kufą i czarną truflą nosową. Ma czarny nos oraz ciemne, położone nieco skośnie oczy sprawiające, że owczarek niemiecki zawsze wygląda na czujnego i skoncentrowanego, spiczaste i trójkątne uszy skierowane do przodu. Ogon owczarków jest nisko osadzony, długi i obficie owłosiony. Możemy wyróżnić 2 rodzaje sierści / szaty u tego psa:

- krótką :   twarde i proste włosy okrywowe z gęstym podszerstkiem. Włosy są dłuższe w okolicy szyi, przedpiersia, ud i na ogonie,

-długą :  proste, długie włosy (o delikatniejszej strukturze) z gęstym podszerstkiem. Najdłuższe włosy znajdują się w okolicy przedpiersia i szyi, na udach i na ogonie. Uszy są pokryte nieco krótszymi włosami,

3. Charakter.

Może być on wykorzystywany do różnorodnych celów. Między innymi można go spotkać w pracy przy policji, wojsku, pomocy niepełnosprawnym ( pies przewodnik ) lub pełnić rolę jako stróż i strzec posesji. Bądź po prostu być członkiem rodziny. Owczarek niemiecki jest psem odważnym i   wytrwałym. Od swego opiekuna  potrzebuje ciągłej bliskości i czułości. Nie znosi samotności. Kocha pieszczoty, wypoczywania z domownikami, spacery, także z chęcią się pobawi. Zawsze pozostanie lojalny i wierny swemu opiekunowi.

4. Wychowanie.

Owczarki niemieckie są podatne na szkolenie, ale potrzebują cierpliwego i wyrozumiałego opiekuna. Treningi i szkolenia są ważne dla jego przyszłego wychowania i zachowania. Dla dobrego funkcjonowania psa właściciel powinien wychodzić z nim na długie spacery, wycieczki rowerowe czy uprawiać z nim sport. Czworonogi są żywiołowe, pełne energii, chętne do zabawy, dlatego warto zakupić gryzaka bądź szarpaka by pies mógł rozładować energię. Udanym pomysłem jest, również kupno mu naturalnych gryzaków.

5. Pielęgnacja.

Owczarki niemieckie charakteryzują się dużą odpornością na niekorzystne warunki atmosferyczne. Cieszą się dobrym zdrowiem, ale niektóre schorzenia czy choroby diagnozuje się u nich częściej, niż u innych ras. Są to między innymi:

- dysplazja stawów biodrowych,

- młodzieńcze zapalenie kości,

- "zespół końskiego ogona",

- spondyloza,

-  zewnątrzwydzielnicza niewydolność trzustki/

Odpowiednio karmiony owczarek niemiecki ma zdrową sierść, skórę i zęby, nie wymaga też większego zaangażowania właściciela w pielęgnację. Psów tych nie trzeba często kąpać – robimy to w miarę potrzeby, w szamponie dopasowanym do rodzaju włosów. Sierść po myciu powinna sama wyschnąć, nie trzeba jej suszyć suszarką. Owczarka krótkowłosego wymaga regularnego czesania ( w okresie linienia robić to codziennie ) dla zachowania zdrowej struktury sierści. Najlepiej czesać zgrzebłem o długich metalowych zębach. Natomiast owczarka długowłosego czesać 2 razy w tygodniu grzebieniem o szeroko rozstawionych zębach, a następnie szczotką "pudlówką".  Systematycznie za to należy skracać psu pazury (jeśli same nie skracają się w trakcie zabawy i spacerów), usuwać kamień nazębny i sprawdzać uszy. Włosy w okolicy uszu mogą podrażniać ucho zewnętrzne, dlatego warto zaglądać od czasu do czasu do ucha, by sprawdzić, czy w środku nie dzieje się nic złego. Zdrowe uszy powinny być czyste w środku, niebolesne, bez żadnych wypływów i bez przykrego zapachu.

6. Żywienie.

Żywienie szczeniąt- szczenięta mogą być karmione zarówno karmą mokrą, jak i suchą. Podstawą diety szczeniąt ośmiotygodniowych i starszych powinna być karma sucha. Szczenięta należy karmić 2-4 razy dziennie. Zaleca się przynajmniej jeden posiłek zastępować karmą mokrą.

Możesz też dawać psu gryzaki dentystyczne, które zmniejszają odkładanie się osadu i kamienia nazębnego. Zwierzęciu można, również przygotowywać samodzielne posiłki. Najlepiej wykorzystać do tego kasze, makarony, warzywa, mięso, ryby, kości i jaja, trzeba je jednak wtedy uzupełniać preparatami wapniowo-witaminowymi, które chronią stawy. Dzienną porcję trzeba podzielić na dwa lub trzy posiłki. Ważne, by pies po jedzeniu mógł odpocząć.

Żywienie psa starszego- owczarki niemieckie to łakomczuchy, dlatego w trosce o utrzymanie ich prawidłowej masy ciała nie można ich przekarmiać. Szczególnie starsze psy mają tendencję do nadwagi lub otyłości. Wynika to ze spowolnienia procesów metabolicznych. Wszystkie psie przysmaki powinny być wliczone w dzienną dawkę pokarmową.Dietę starszych psów tej rasy można suplementować preparatami dostępnymi w przychodniach weterynaryjnych, które wzmocnią ich odporność oraz chrząstki i stawy.  Tego rodzaju dodatki powinno się stosować jedynie po konsultacji z lekarzem weterynarii.

Objawienie Jana 9:1-21 

1 I zatrąbił piąty anioł; i widziałem gwiazdę, która spadła z nieba na ziemię; i dano jej klucz od studni otchłani.  2 I otwarła studnię otchłani. I wzbił się ze studni dym jakby dym z wielkiego pieca, a słońce i powietrze zaćmiły się od dymu ze studni.  3 A z tego dymu wyszły na ziemię szarańcze, którym dana została moc, jaką jest moc skorpionów na ziemi.  4 I powiedziano im, aby nie wyrządzały szkody trawie, ziemi ani żadnym ziołom, ani żadnemu drzewu, a tylko ludziom, którzy nie mają pieczęci Bożej na czołach.  5 I nakazano im, aby nie zabijały ich, lecz dręczyły przez pięć miesięcy; a ból przez nie wywołany był jak ból od ukłucia skorpiona, gdy ukłuje człowieka.  6 A w owe dni będą ludzie szukać śmierci, lecz jej nie znajdą, i będą chcieli umrzeć, ale śmierć omijać ich będzie.  7 Z wyglądu szarańcze te podobne były do koni gotowych do boju, a na głowach ich coś jakby złote korony, a twarze ich jakby twarze ludzkie.  8 A włosy miały jak włosy kobiece, a zęby ich były jak u lwów.  9 Miały też pancerze niby pancerze żelazne, a szum ich skrzydeł jak turkot wozów wojennych i wielu koni pędzących do boju.  10 Miały też ogony podobne do skorpionowych oraz żądła, a w ogonach ich moc wyrządzania ludziom szkody przez pięć miesięcy.  11 I miały nad sobą jako króla anioła otchłani, którego imię brzmi po hebrajsku Abaddon, po grecku zaś imię jego brzmi Apollyon  (Niszczyciel).  12 Jedno  ""biada "" minęło; oto nadchodzą jeszcze po tamtym dwa następne  ""biada "".  13 I zatrąbił szósty anioł; i usłyszałem z czterech rogów złotego ołtarza stojącego przed Bogiem jakiś głos,  14 mówiący do szóstego anioła, który miał trąbę: Uwolnij czterech aniołów, którzy są spętani nad wielką rzeką Eufratem.  15 I zostali uwolnieni czterej aniołowie, którzy byli przygotowani na godzinę i na dzień, i na miesiąc, i na rok, aby wytracić trzecią część ludzi.  16 A liczba wojsk konnych wynosiła dwie miriady miriad; taką ich liczbę usłyszałem.  17 A takimi widziałem w widzeniu te konie i tych, którzy na nich siedzieli; mieli pancerze czerwone jak ogień, granatowe jak hiacynt, żółte jak siarka; a łby końskie były jak łby lwów, a z pysków ich wychodziły ogień i dym, i siarka.  18 Od tych trzech plag, to jest od ognia i od dymu, i od siarki, wychodzących z ich pysków, wyginęła trzecia część ludzi.  19 Albowiem moc tych koni mieści się w ich pyskach i w ich ogonach; ogony ich bowiem są podobne do wężów mających głowy, którymi wyrządzają szkodę.  20 Pozostali ludzie, którzy nie zginęli od tych plag, nie odwrócili się od uczynków rąk swoich, nie przestając oddawać czci demonom oraz bałwanom złotym i srebrnym, i spiżowym, i kamiennym, i drewnianym, które nie mogą ani widzieć, ani słyszeć, ani chodzić,  21 i nie odwrócili się od zabójstw swoich ani od swoich czarów, ani od wszeteczeństwa swego, ani od kradzieży swoich.

Na koniec 8 rozdziału, Jan dowiaduje się że zabrzmią jeszcze 3 trąby i że będą tą ostatnie trzy biada które spadną na ludzkość. W zasadzie, jest to prawda ponieważ trzecie i ostatnie biada(siódma trąba) stanowi ostatnią serię sądów, czyli sądy czasz. Zniszczenie które przynoszą te sądy jest katastroficzne. Jeśli zabrana zostanie najpierw ¼ (czwarta pieczęć) i później jeszcze 1/3 (szósta trąba) to pozostanie tylko połowa pierwotnej liczby. Na dzień dzisiejszy na naszej planecie żyje ponad siedem miliardów ludzi. Czyli w wyniku takich sądów musiałoby zginąć 3.5 miliarda ludzi!

„Gwiazda” (w. 1) przedstawia duchową postać. Ona ma autorytet otworzyć studnię otchłani. Dym się wyłania przyciemniając słońce tak jak w wykonaniu wielkiej chmary szarańczy. Nie jest to normalna szarańcza, jest to demoniczna szarańcza. Zamiast zjadać roślinność, ich dietą okazują się ludzie. Ich żądło boli jak żądło skorpiona. Niektórzy ludzie uważają że być może Jan opisywał tutaj nowoczesną technologię wojenną. Choć Bóg może korzystać z nowoczesnych wynalazków by przynieść takie cierpienia to jednak jest bardzo prawdopodobne, żeby dosłownie tak wyglądały jak w opisie Jana.

Krok Życiowy

Mamy wybór. Możemy teraz bać się Boga z podziwem i czcią która prowadzi do wiecznego zbawienia, albo możemy się Go bać później w dzikim przerażeniu.

Akpabio lists achievements, says govt impacting lives positively through Niger Delta Ministry -NigPilot

Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio has listed achievements gained by the ministry, reiterating that relentless efforts have been made by the Federal Government in impacting lives positively in the area of infrastructure development and social amenities' empowerment in the Niger Delta region. The minister echoed this during his presentation at the 19th session of the State House Briefing organized by the Presidential Communication Team at the Presidential Villa yesterday in Abuja. “President Muhammadu Buhari is more interested in the grassroots development therefore he has shown keen interest in the activities of the Ministry, that is why the Ministry is determined to undertake laudable projects that will uplift the lives of the Niger Deltans,” he said. Akpabio recalled that the ministry which was created in 2008 to address the infrastructural deficit, environmental degradation and pollution, and other sultry issues confronting the oil-rich region has made efforts to live up to its mandate. The minister informed that the East-West road project which is a carriageway that spans a total of 338 km, containing over 41 bridges, had a historical debt of N11billion in 2019 owed to contractors which have been cleared by the ministry, adding that “this came from the magnanimity of Mr. President who approved the payment when he returned the project to the Ministry and thereafter we have had various sums of monies released to contractors who had gone back to site”. He stated that the Eleme-Onne Section was not included when the East-West road project was awarded because as at that time, it was in good shape and the two bridges were functional, adding that the ministry has released the sum of N2.5billion in August 2021 for a quick and emergency intervention due to the present deplorable condition of the section. He disclosed that N19.4billion of funds for the 2020 capital projects budget of the Ministry is being committed to the East-West road and N7.5billion has been paid, while additional funding of N35 billion will come from Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for the project, noting that request for mobilization of special funding from SUKUK Issuance through the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and Planning has also been made to Mr. President to ensure the completion of the road. “We are redesigning the entire area because of the defects we have noticed, that area would be 6 lanes, no longer 4 lanes, we are going to construct additional 2 bridges, 2 flyovers and a new flyover bridge at Akpajo intersection because of the heavy flow of traffic as the road links to the big fertilizer company at Indorama, Wotore , Onne Port Harcourt refining company, PPMC. I, therefore appeal to the Eleme people, Niger Deltans and Nigerians for their patience and support as we are working hard to salvage the situation,” he added. The Minister also assured the completion of Section 1-4 linking Warri to Oron through Kaima, Ahoada, Port Harcourt, Ogoni, and Eket Township, while Section 5 axis would be considered soon. Other projects embarked upon by the ministry cutting across the nine states of the region. They include 13 Inter-State road projects, 109 Intrastate road projects, 9 Jetty design projects that have been completed with 1 being constructed in Nembe, Bayelsa State to improve water transportation, Akpabio revealed. In the area of Social infrastructure, he informed that the ministry is implementing 43 different categories of electrification projects, construction of over 500 Housing Units which have been handed over to the beneficiaries, construction of 18 classroom blocks with 15 completed and 3 ongoings, 6 renovated, initiation of 16 Health centers with 9 completed, 7 ongoing and 3 other renovated. He added that the ministry has constructed 500 Boarding Capacity Skill Acquisition centers with varied specialization and are at various levels of completion in each of the 9 States of the region, while the center at Otuoke, Bayelsa State has been handed over to the Federal University Otuoke and the center at Agadagba-Obon, Ese-Odo LGA, Ondo State is about to be handed over to the Federal Polytechnic, Ile- Oluji, the centers at Ibeno, Akwa Ibom and Ohaji Egbema, Imo State are completed, he stressed. Furthermore, he revealed that the ministry has engaged the youths and women in various economic empowerment projects, human capital development training, and key stakeholders which have led to remarkable improvement in the peace, security, and stability in the Niger Delta region. He pointed out that the ministry has harmonized its action plan for effective coordination to encourage rapid socioeconomic development while its Strategic Implementation Work Plan, SIWP, approved by Federal Executive Council, FEC in March 2021 will result in joint accountability, elimination of project duplication, wastages of scarce resources as well as preventing abandonment of projects in the region. Akpabio mentioned that the ministry has also completed the NDDC Head office, as well as Forensic Audit exercise report as a date for the official presentation of the report is awaited, he revealed that International Oil Companies, IOCs were owing NDDC over $4billion unremitted funds and with the audit exercise of the Commission, such issues would be addressed, adding that the ministry will also ensure that the three percent allocated to Oil Producing Communities in the Petroleum Industry Act, PIA is used on executing tangible and developmental projects in the region. Much of our beloved Greek mythology stories from Hamilton’s Mythology came from an 8th-century poem called Theogony. The poem which translates to “birth or genealogy of the gods” is a long documentation of the origin of all life in the universe. It has a long record of the genealogy/ descendants of the gods from the Titan Kronus to the Olympian god Zeus. It also recorded the series of wars between the Titans and the Olympian gods.

Before we could purchase physical copies of Theogony or Hamilton’s Mythology, the original poem was not written down but passed down by oral tradition. According to Wasson (2017), the first written form of the poem was made decades later. Just like most epics, Theogony was traditionally not accessible as a written material but was performed orally.

 THE NATIONAL PASTIME OF THE ANCIENT WORLD

Imagine a world where there are no television and smartphones. Imagine a world where no movies were made, no Taylor Swift that could serenade us with new songs, or no new episodes of your favorite TV series. What would you do?

If it’s hard for you to imagine such kind of world, no worries! The ancient people of Greece know exactly the cure for a boring day.

Just like our movies, TV series, novels, and comics, the ancient world combined these in the form of ORAL TRADITION. If our national pastime is movies, TV series, or novels, for the ancient people, it was the epics that are performed orally.

Remember when you were a kid, your parents used to tell you a bedtime story or a cautionary tale when you do a silly thing? Remember when you were sharing a story with a friend about a famous person in school? That could be considered as oral tradition!

Oral tradition is one of the oldest forms of sharing stories, knowledge, ideas, or art. There are stories around the world that would not survive were it not for oral tradition/ storytelling. For the Greeks, it was Theogony or Iliad and Odyssey. For the Israelites and Hebrews, it was the Bible. For the Mesopotamians, it was the Epic of Gilgamesh. For the medieval English, it was the Epic of Beowulf.

In stories like Theogony, it is not only passed down orally because it was entertaining. It is orally transmitted to share the culture, traditions, beliefs, and rituals of a particular because there is embedded cultural information. Stories like this would remind the younger generation how to act properly and would explain to them why they do it.  Just like how our parents or grandparents would share with us some cautionary tales when we are doing silly things.

Currently, many stories could be considered epic only if there is any cultural information embedded in those stories. We most likely called them urban legends. It is a fictional story that may or may not be derived from true events. Most of these stories come from a rumor about a famous person. Within these stories are real people and real events but as it is passed down orally, some of the original elements are replaced with fictional ones to create an elaborate joke, a haunting story, or a conspiracy theory.

These urban legends, just like Theogony, are passed down to every generation blurring the lines of truth and fiction. However, these stories are more harmful because the information from these stories is not verified and does not have any actual reliable source. If we continue sharing these stories, our history maybe will become a big myth in the next millennium.

Even we are centuries apart from Theogony, there are practices in their days that we are still doing today like oral tradition. It makes Theogony more relevant than ever. However, just like Theogony, today we are creating myths that inaccurately represent our history.

BARELY 48 hours after South-South governors and leaders made a seven-point demand, including restructuring and true federalism, on the Federal Government, a coalition of nine militant groups, under the auspices of Reformed Niger Delta Avengers, RNDA, yesterday, asked the Federal Government to throw away the request until the governors start releasing 13 per cent derivation fund directly to the oil-producing communities. They also asked the governors to account for about N50 trillion derivation fund they had so far received from the federal government.

South-South governors, leaders and others at a stakeholders’ meeting, Tuesday, in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, with a federal government delegation, led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, tabled the seven-point demand after a botched meeting, the previous week. Commanding Officer of RNDA, self-professed “Major General” Johnmark Ezonebi, aka Obama, in an electronic statement obtained by Vanguard, however, said the seven-point demand by six Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and governors of the South-South at this time has ‘political undertone.’ RNDA also accused the governors of under-developing Niger-Delta and misappropriating over N40 trillion derivation funds, saying they had no honorable standing to make demands on the federal government. In a swift reaction to RNDA assertion, the Akwa-Ibom State Government yesterday asked the group to focus more on the issues of deprivation, neglect and injustice affecting the South South States instead of issuing threats.

Also reacting, National Chairman of the apex socio-cultural Organization of the South South geo-political zone, Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Air Commodore Idongesit Nkanga, Rtd, alleged that for such a message to come from freedom fighters of the region, it may have been sponsored. The militants in their demand said: “RNDA and the nine militant groups vehemently reject and oppose the seven-point demands made by the governors of the South-South region following their meeting with a delegation of the federal government, headed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, at Port Harcourt, Rivers State.”

“The seven -point demands for restructuring, true federalism, resource control and others at this point in time after the #EndSARS youth protests which now negate 21-day ultimatum by RNDA should not be taken seriously because they lack the moral right to ask for any such seven- point demands. “If anything, and if at all, the governors should first of all come out openly to give proper account of the over N44.9 to N50 trillion that these South -South governors have collected from the federal government as 13 percent derivation fund through the Federation Accounts all these years without any tangible meaningful people -oriented human capital development to address the sufferings of the people of the oil rich region.

“This is why the oil and gas producing communities’ demand that the federal government should stop, henceforth, paying the 13 percent derivation fund to governors. The governors are owing debts to the tune of over N2 trillion. Records from the Debt Management Office shows the South-South states alone is indebted to the tune of N1.4 trillion,” militants said. According to the militant group, ” There is a break down to show that out of the 13 per cent derivation fund, the governors in the South-South region have collected from 1999 -2018: Akwa Ibom- N1. 47trillion; Bayelsa- N1. 09 trillion; Cross Rivers- N278.12 billion; Delta State- N39. 9 trillion; Edo- N84. 54 billion; and Rivers-N 1. 44 trillion.

“Yet the oil and gas producing communities which are the legitimate owners of these 13 per cent funds through the proceeds of the crude oil production from their backyard are still wallowing in abject poverty with all this huge amount in trillions in the hands of these South- South governors and now, they still have the temerity to demand for restructuring and resource control. “How will that be possible at this point in time? These South-South governors cannot fool us anymore. Our governors have embezzled and mismanaged these monies with their cronies and nothing to show, no meaningful projects, no people- oriented human capital development in the creeks and nothing reasonable to show for the huge amount.

“How can they now be pointing fingers at the federal government for the underdevelopment in the region and now coming up to demand for restructuring, resource control and true federalism when there is no equity, fairness and justice from the side of these South- South governors. The seven- point demands submitted by the governors are baseless, meaningless. “We see the seven-point demands as having political undertone from the PDP governors from the region and the presidency should not take them serious any day because they are the ones who contributed to the level of underdevelopment in the region.

“We also call on the federal government delegation headed by Prof Ibrahim Gambari with the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo Agege and ministers from the region not to take the concocted seven-point demands seriously because their call for restructuring has a political undertone in order to gain favoritism and sympathy support from the region, having failed the region woefully. “The demands do not represent the general interest of the neglected, emancipated people of the oil and gas producing communities suffering from environmental degradation, environmental pollution and the hazard of the exploitation and the exploration activities caused by the multinational oil companies in the creeks of the region, compounded by their failure to properly utilize the 13 percent derivation fund.”

In his reaction, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Ini Ememobong said that it was not possible to ask the incumbent governors to come and account for derivation funds since the payment didn’t start with their administration. He said, “My advice to the militants is that they should look at issues affecting the Niger Delta. They should go to Olobiri and take pictures, they should also find out how far the Ogoni clean up in Rivers State has so far been carried out.

“I also urge them to go to Ibeno in Akwa Ibom State, and analyse why corrugated zinc roofing sheet cannot last for more than two years? They should find out why railway line should be done from some states in the country to Niger Republic when there is none in the South South. ” If they do not draw attention to manifest issues of neglect, deprivation of the Niger Delta, evident in the poor state of federal roads like the East West road, Calabar-Itu Road, etc, then it will leave no conclusion other than the fact that their message has a political agenda. “So the tone of the militants, message seems to have the voice of Jacob, but the hand of Esau” Also reacting PANDEF National Chairman, Air Commodore Nkanga, Rtd, said, “Maybe they are sponsored because they don’t have the facts.

If somebody has been given trillions of naira and he has not accounted for it, there are agencies like the EFCC that you should take it to, and not to give a condition that if the Governors cannot give account they should not ask for true federalism. “I have always said that it is not an individual, group or the Federal government that will give true federalism, so they should not even go in that direction. They (Militants) don’t have the right to give condition for true federalism. “If they are sponsored, they should go back and tell their sponsors that PANDEF has rejected that line of argument, it is not even worth PANDEF reacting to. “The State governments, whatever money they have, they have ways of accounted for it. If they don’t, the agencies responsible for getting them to account are there. But it is not a condition for true federalism.”
