“It’s the iconic formula, right?” Demetri grins. “Can’t fail with it. The Scooby Gang never did!”

“So…by not playing into that dynamic, we’re limiting our potential?” Miguel looks intrigued.

“Exactly. Can’t mess with a classic.”

“So Cobra Kai’s plowing us in the ass, right?”

Miguel’s dubious. “Don’t know if I’d put it like that—”

“Their stupid merchandise! Their flashy ads!” Demetri scoffs. “They’re ruining our lives with their synchronized kicks and their rotten ass-plowing hearts! As the brains, I’ve concocted a plan that involves oiling our asses and doing a little plowing of our own.”

His accompanying gestures are met with concern.

“Like this?”

Although Demetri appreciates Eli’s reluctance to re-awaken The Hawk, a little pout isn’t very wildcard-esque.

“Pretend the bank left Miyagi-Fang a bad Yelp review. You’re plotting revenge.”

“That I can do.”

As Miguel presses the gas, his eyes flick between Demetri and Eli.

“What the hell happened?”

“Eli tried showcasing the merch with karate moves, and we kicked our first potential customer in the face. She called the cops.”

Miguel groans.

“Demetri, you said this plan was flawless.”

“Hey! I did exactly what a wildcard would do!” Eli protests.

Miguel sighs. “So Demetri as the brains isn’t working, so I’ll be the brains and Demetri can be the muscle.”

Despite himself, Demetri blushes.

“You…think I could be the muscle?”

“Yes, sure, if it means I make the plans from now on.”

daniel must be insane. he must be, sneaking into the cobra kai dojo, but it is hours after class should have ended, and the building is dark and quiet. he isn’t entirely sure if that’s actually scarier than the idea of opening the door to see all of the cobras, but the way the closed blinds on the door rustle as he opens one of them just wide enough for him to slide in isn’t exactly relaxing. the ‘CLOSED’ sign he passes feels like a warning.

it’s strange, to see the dojo of the enemy (johnny’s dojo), particularly in this state - empty and entirely dark, clearly cleaned and tidied after the afternoon’s class. but, daniel quickly notices as he surveys the space, someone must’ve left a light on.

there’s a door all the way at the back of the space - not the office door, it must be a storage room or something - cracked very slightly open, and from it is a strip of warm light cutting through the darkness.

also from it, much softer than the light at this distance, is…noise.

for a terrifying moment, daniel thinks it might be kreese at risk of catching daniel trespassing, or johnny about to see daniel here and subsequently beat him bloody yet again, but the noises aren’t really voices - certainly not like a meeting. it sounds more like a fight, gasping and breathing and skin hitting skin, and daniel’s sneaking closer - swift and silent and cautious, just like mr. miyagi’s been teaching him - before he’s really properly thought about the potential consequences of his actions.

he’s wondering why any of the cobras would be using a back room for kumite, and then he’s worrying that it isn’t practise or sparring at all but someone else being the target of the cobras’ aggression, and then finally he’s freezing completely because he’s peeked through the crack in the door and seen something he could not have possibly prepared himself for.

it is the cobras. all of johnny’s gang, in a throng around him like they always are wherever they all go, but this…is much more direct fawning over johnny than daniel usually sees from them. mostly because they’ve got johnny lay on his back on the floor in the middle of them, his uwagi pulled completely open and his trousers discarded, and they’re wrecking him like their lives depend on it. like johnny is the centre of the universe - and, with his pale skin beautifully and thoroughly flushed all the way from the tips of his ears down his bare chest to his navel, his abdomen covered in cum that couldn’t possibly have just come from him, his pale hair mussed and sticking to his forehead with sweat, his mouth helplessly open as he makes sounds filthier and more perfect than daniel could’ve ever conceptualised in his filthiest fantasies, daniel thinks he might as well be. he certainly is to daniel, all of a sudden, and daniel’s dick throbs in agreement, stomach swooping with arousal stronger than daniel thought possible.

So we all know Kreese had a huge bond with Johnny (this is a understatement by far) but what do you think his feelings where towards the other og cobra gang?

I always think back to the fact that he didn’t just lose Johnny after the fight, but the whole cobra gang. (I mean I could be wrong but I would think that after they witnessed Kreese chocking out Johnny that they all left/quite the dojo at the same time.)

Yeah, except, exploring the fact that Kreese might've validly had a relationship with all the other OG students in his first dojo and that their departure, or the way he'd see it, betrayal of him, would require the show writers to have Johnny Lawrence not be the focus for maybe five seconds flat, and we can't have that. He is now the end all,be all, focal point of John Kreese's whole existence to the point he refused to be bankrolled for the Sekai Tekai as early back as the 80's by Terry Silver purely to train this one kid he treated really coldly in the films. Don't even get me started how the John Kreese of the flashbacks and the John Kreese of the movies could be entirely two different individuals. There's a disconnect if I ever saw one. I choose to believe it is merely John being an unreliable narrator and he truly views himself in this aspirational light because it is my only comfort for the bad writing.

But, I digress.

I would've been super cool if the OG Cobras had a scene of confrontation with John Kreese after so many years or that their own subsequent, individual ties to him got a bit more substantially explored. I think it would've been relevant. I think it would've been nice. I think they could've done so many interesting things with those storylines seasons and seasons ago, all while acknowledging Kreese would've had a grudge, a sore spot and history with all of them individually and that them all quitting Cobra Kai led to him losing his business and kickstarting his whole spiral which led to the storyline of the series we're seeing today, all neatly intervowen. I think it would be fitting because they were all majorly affected by him, and it wasn't just Johnny Lawrence he influenced (or acted abusive towards), but as always, another opportunity was sorely missed. Do we know how many such opportunities the show missed? Countless.

first off i think his last name is dutch and im stealing one (1) thing from that one insane kk3 script and its the name martin for him. his full name is martin dutch. he hates being called martin tho and only gets called it by the occasional teacher or sometimes tommy will call him marty to be a dick. maybe he experiments more with going by it as he gets older but i dont think it ever really sticks

ive mentioned this one on here already but its very important to how i view dutch and also kreese so im gonna mention it again. dutch and kreese are related in some way. dutch is the son of a second cousin or something of kreeses. its not a close relation but theyre both aware of it and it affects their personal relationship. kreeses family branch is like. the black sheep/outcast branch which is why their lifestyles are so different but when dutch started training there they recognised each other and mutually agreed Not to acknowledge it around others. but they do acknowledge it a little in private.

dutch has a maaaajor case of absentee parentism and is a Difficult Child TM on top of it so both of his parents checked out emotionally on him pretty early and so when he started training at cobra kai kreese sort of quietly stepped up to take over that role. and after kk1 ended dutch had the hardest time out of all the cobras breaking away from him and spent a while pretty distant from his friends while he tried to work himself out

i think dutch is super mega gay and not particularly quiet abt it also. he Does date girls in high school but also pursues guys actively during those relationships and tells the girls to basically get lost or get used to it <3 and he is so in love with tommy but also completely oblivious to it and doesnt rlly process why hes always seeking his attention all the time

No! I definitely get this and I love it. Honestly I love the trope where the more “bad guy character/s” pick on their crush but it's actually because their kinda stupid to the fact what they are doing can be seen as mean.

Half of them just think they are giving her compliments. And when she gets upset or mad they think she's trying to play with them, trying to play hard to get.

Bobby and Jimmy always give her straight-up nice compliments, like how her new hair style is cute or how pretty she is. They always take notice of her looks or how she's acting. Both of them are the first to know of she is doing something new with her make up or skin routine. Both of them are just overly sweet to her even if the other guys aren't.

Johnny and Tommy are the ones glaring her down from afar. They both talk about how hot she looks and how sexy she is. They don't go to overboard with the comments but they can't help but admit how attractive she is. As long as Dutch isn't around it's pretty tame conversations.

The minute Dutch is around, oh no because this guy can't keep his mouth shut for the life of him. He's always spewing something and he has no filter on his thoughts either. Everything always gets nasty when he's around and talking. All the bous could be sitting around and talking a out the pure thing they know about Reader, but then he opens his mouth.
