Im sitting out back and harley had been out with me but ran back in the last time my dad went in from out front with chewby and hasn't come back

So after they went back out front chewby comes loping around the house with her ball in her mouth to look for harley. Dropped the ball in front of the neighbors porch

Went inside and stared upstairs for a few minutes hoping harley would come back down to play

When harley wouldnt come back chewby came back out and started to walk back towards the front and I was like "get your ball chewb."

So she turned and pounced on it and then ran back towards my dad with it

#ope harleys back now #aannd now shes back in lol #shes being very brave today #either she just really wants to be outside or shes starting to realize that chewby doesnt want to hurt her #hard to say #sitting outside with the door open has been more effective than any cat treat at getting her to come downstairs during the day tho #if i could id be building a cat highway down from the balcony for her to see if that helps ease her into being around the dog a little more #there just arent many spaces downstairs where she can be up out of the way of the dog #im not used to having a cat that A likes to be up high instead of on the ground and B is afraid of dogs #like mercedes wasnt super friendly towards other animals but she wasnt afraid of them. that cat wouldve fought god if she could #once we had a dog she was more friendly towards strange dogs than she was to cats #but she tried to fight a puppy that was bigger than her when she was harleys age cuz it was in her house #(it was our neighbors puppy that actually lived with her grandma cuz our apartment didnt allow pets but they werent home and the #puppy apparently came looking for them and ended up at the wrong door) #but mercedes was alright with chewby the few times they interacted (except the time chewby licked her face. mercedes was not a fan #of that lol) but harley never witnessed these interactions cuz she was hiding out in my room #mercedes was always just far more confident around other animals
