Finally finished the water starter for my fakemon region: Occido. Meet Tiyogi, the floating log pokemon. Their name comes from the Hopi myth of the Colorado River about a boy named Tiyo and the beginning of gilla monster, which is what this creature is based on. Look forward to a poll soon to determine who's your favorite of the starters.

I've been working on a new project for a while. I've posted rough designs of these starters, but this week is the first time I'll share the finished design. This is a fakemon region based on the American West called the Occido Region. This is the grass starter, Segolillo. It's a mesh of Sego Lilly and Armadillo. Once I've posted all three, I'll make a poll to ask which starter is your favorite.

For some reason, I've had issues with the water starter for the Occido region. I first wanted to make a wolf starter. Then I switched it to this bear one. The final design is going to be based on a completely different design. I should be posting that soon. In the meantime, enjoy this scrapped Bear design.

This is the fire starter for my Occido Fakemon Region. The name is a combination of Blaze and bison. The shiny is a reference to Paul Bunyan's blue ox. I've had to do some tweaking for the final starter of the region which I will hopefully post next week.

This is part of my fan-made Occido Pokémon Region.  I've been playing around with what kind of gym leaders I would have. These are my first ideas for Gym Leaders. I might update them later to better incorporate the Pokémon of the Region. Question for you is what gym type would you set in this Wild West themed game?

Doing more Pokemon designs for the Pokemon Copper and Steel. These ones are based on the chuckwalla, which is a large lizard related to the iguana. Really wanted to explore gender dimorphism in the species. What kind of names would you give these Pokemon?

After playing Pokemon Sword and having to sit bored in a history class, I had this idea come to mind. A region based on the Wild West. Filled with cowboys, Native Americans, and Miners alike, I really got hooked into the idea. Here's a rough version of the cover, Pokemon Copper and Steel. I'll be posting starters later. I’m calling this the Occido region.
