10 Facts About My Characters

🌟 Drop one of my characters’ names in my inbox and I’ll tell you 10 facts about them 🌟

1) Richie’s first job was with Luke at the diner, he’d been working odd jobs prior to that & started working to save up enough for a car. By his and Rory’s sixteenth birthday, he’d saved almost enough for it but not quite - with Lorelei’s blessing, Luke’s present for him was the remainder of the money. Richie asked if Luke would go with him to get the truck.

2) While in physical recovery for his leg after his football injury, his physical therapist strongly encourages a mental therapist as well, which is where he gets diagnosed for his social anxiety. (Luke was at the game where Richie got injured, managed to convince Lorelei to let him pay for anything regarding Richie’s recovery.)

3) He got into photography because of Rachel - he was twelve and wanted to know how her camera worked, she showed him how. Luke has pictures from that time, neither of them know.

4) Started off labeling himself as bi but realized it didn’t feel right, so he switches to labeling himself as Queer.

5) His was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, & after Jurassic Park came out, it became a major comfort movie for him. (Fast forward to later ages & many rewatches later, Jeff Goldbum as Ian Malcolm was definitely apart of his queer awakening.)

6) Even after retiring from dance & skating, he still helps out Miss.Patty by either playing the piano during practices, ocassionally teaching the younger kids the dance moves & getting them to pay attention, or by lending his free time to use the truck to help her transport equipment.

7) He doesn’t do all of them, but once he gets a better grip on his studies & depending on what musical Chilton is doing, he’ll audition for it.

8) He’d known he wanted to be a doctor since he was nine, but it took until Richard’s first heart attack for him to decide he wanted to be a cardiologist.

9) He doesn’t get his first psychiatric service dog until season six when he’s living at his own place and not in the dorms.

10) Between Luke and Sookie, Richie learned how to cook and by the start of the series, he often cooks and meal preps for himself as he tends to eat less take out then Rory & Lorelei do.

Backstory: Loki was born to Starolf and Ingirid along with his two other siblings, a brother named Jackson and a sister, Raini. When they were just 5 months old, their tribe was attacked by dragons, killing their father and mother. The dragons stole the triplets and raised them as their own, making them meet their dragon buddies. Soon, a week later, another person came and her name was  Valka. Valka treated them as her own as well. Several years later, they meet Hiccup and the gang and  only time can tell what happened next.

BRING BACK 90’s/2000’s NAIL ART!!

I have a saying that I like to live by when it comes to style, fashion, hair, etc. It's "if it was cute before, it's probably still cute now"! I honestly think that *most* not all but *most* trends or styles that have made their way through the years are still cute and sexy. Like obviously they were a trend/style for a reason so why pretend like it's ugly or cringe now?

Obviously not everything will stand the test of time which is why I said most and not all, but the things that do should be held close and cherished. I feel like people don't appreciate the things we have as a community. Like we all experienced all of these trends/styles together and it was like a cultural experience for most people, especially in the states! It's cool that we all get to say that we all owned a pair of low-rise jeans in our lifetime and share the stories we have with them. That goes for anything like it too! Which brings me to what you've read this far for...

BRING BACK 90's/2000's NAIL ART!!!!! I am obsessed and have been recently getting my nails done with these styles! I remember as a child going to the salon with my mom and getting a mani with these designs and now I am back at it, just with acrylics this time. And when you think about it, now we have all these TALENTED nail techs that are insane with their nail art (back then they were definitely talented, but now you can't argue that they are 100% next level with the nail art)! Imagine how much more we can add to past designs to have fun with nostalgia but also keep our modern look. Take the cover photo for example, it's the old design but with new and better product. It's sexy, fun, and remodeled!!!!

What are your thoughts on this? Out with the new and in with the old? Or will you stick with what you got going on now? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear your opinions!

🌟 + Richie of course?

1) One of Richie’s favorite comfort items is a blanket Sookie knitted for him a few years ago but it’s gotten a bit small for him, so Sookie surprised him by making him a bigger one that covers him better for sixteenth birthday.

2) He wanted to get back into dancing, so he joins the Ballroom Dance Team at Yale.

3) Whenever Mia approved it due to safety concerns, Richie ended up spending most of his free time growing up in the Independence Inn’s Kitchen learning how to cook from Sookie. 🥺 (Like Patty and going pro with skating, Sookie says Richie is good enough he could have gotten into culinary school if he wanted.)

4) After knowing Michael for about a year, Richie asked if he’d help him learn how to speak French.

5) When he does let himself have desert, he prefers pie.

6) After he gets the truck and if he’s free, he helps out Patty with moving any larger objects she needs moved for dance competitions.

7) The diner is his main job but Floyd got Andrew to agree to let him help out at the bookstore if needed.

8) (solo verse) He beats out Paris as top student at Chilton in season three.

9) As apart of their Sunday lunches, He and Richard try to go to somewhere new every week, and one time he ended up meeting Pennilyn Lott and her husband because they whet at the same restaurant.

10) Most of what he knows of car repairing either comes from Gypsy or Luke.
