Kinda got an Ace Attorney au idea

Hear me out hear me out

Ace Attorney au where everything’s Kind of the same, but it’s just The Office with the Prosecutors

imagine what chaos that would bring like it’s just shenanigans from The Office with the prosecutors plus their own based on that

Also I say au cause I’m screwing over the timeline with this au because I mean *A L L prosecutors are there,

(*All that have been introduced one way or another and we at least know their name and appearance, just saying “Oh this prosecutor existed” be we don’t know the name and appearance doesn’t count, if I counted those ones the office would be W A Y too crowded you’d have like over 5000 people in there-!) (okay I’m exaggerating slightly but do you get my point?)

Even Barok Van Zieks, who is very most likely dead in canons current time (I mean I hc him as a vampire so actually no he’s probably roaming around somewhere in England staying far away from Japanifornia but I’m talking on the canon terms where I’m assuming he’s supposed to be human and humans, yk age)

Anyways it’d honestly be so funny- Especially if you put Godot in the same room as Barok like it’s just

Okay I feel like this has Definitely been done before but

I really want an investigations style game staring Bobby Fulbright (the real one not the sus one) that takes place on the side of Apollo Justice

It stars it’s own story while there’s hits and tidbits to Apollo Justice as you progress

Not an investigations game in general but like one stylized after it, where it keeps a lot of core mechanics like walking around with a map to investigate instead of point n click, but there’s new mechanics as well like, I don’t know the “Sense of Justice” game mechanic i dunno

Okay but seriously the Sense of Justice mechanic actually sounds like a neat idea though, like it’s like a meter that charges with time and how well you’re doing, and the more charged it is the more powerful Bobby is or something? Like it could making finding specific clue’s easier or give you access to areas you didn’t before, or give you more confidence to deal with the A-hole witnesses

Although I might rename it to “Justice Power” or “Power of Justice” just so it doesn’t go by “SoJ” like the terlet portal fever dream that is AA6- hell might even rename it “In Justice we Trust” like the Mf-ing catchphrase itself

Maybe you could even physically fight bad guys/j (…/hj cause that would actually be interesting even if it’s a fucking Ace Attorney game)

Plus I can just see Bobby flashing his badge at everyone in that game like Phoenix would do in the original Ace Attorney games

TGAA episode/case idea:

So AA and TGAAC are currently being badminton-ed in my pea brain (as in I keep switching between the two to hyperfixate on)

but as of right now, I’ve recently got myself a fan case idea: and it’s lightly inspired by The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog (as in the main inspiration from it is the train location really-) come on who doesn’t wanna see a playable AA case on a train?/hj

Anyways: TGAA spoilers ahead:

and also my rambling is a bit disorganized-

So in my case idea: it would be named “Turnabout Train Turbulence” or “TTT” for short, try saying that name five times fast/hj

It’s not like the set in stone set in stone name, but I’m pretty sold on it.

Like I know TGAA-1 and 2 doesn’t use the “Turnabout” name scheme for its episodes like every other AA game but I like it, although if I really had to I had the backup names of “The murder of the reaper” or “The Adventure of the death train”

The basic story rundown: The cast of the case is on a train heading to (insert location here) like I WAS going to say maybe UK to Japan or vice versa but than I checked the map (I’m stupid okay) and realized that’s literally impossible unless in this universe they have Water trains in the 19th century

And a murder of one of them happens, this would take place maybe some point after TGAAC

The character set up would be:

Barok van Zieks: The victim, died due to a gunshot to the heart, was found in his bedroom car already dead, estimated to be an instant death at 10PM

Herlock Sholmes: The defendant and the detective on the case, they tried to stop him from being the detective, but they couldn’t no matter what- so eventually they just settled on him investigating as long as he was in cuffs,

Herlock is the suspect due to the fact he was in the same car as Barok’s corpse at the time of death, and because they’re ex husbands

(yes I’m dead serious in this fan case they’re divorced, but it’s not an entirely rub it in your face thing that’s mentioned every five minutes (it’d be obvious it’s a fan case and annoying as shit if it was) it’s just like something Herlock would mention once oh so casually when asked why suspected and like, that’s it, never spoke of again)

Ryunosuke Naruhodo: Sholmes’ defense attorney, and Obviously the protagonist …it’d be kinda weird if he wasn’t there

Absolutely No idea who’d be the prosecutor on this case, because the main prosecutor I’ve seen used is fucking dead now *points at Barok*

Characters that are also in the episode but don’t have EXACT roles, but they’re definitely not just “background noise characters” ether:

Albert Harebrain, Iris Wilson, Klint van Zieks, (yeah you heard me. Klint. Klint is there. That is not a mistype. I’ve typed Klint four times now. Even set the original type in bold text. Wooo the train is a haunted train.)

I think Albert and Klint would/could be witnesses, like Klint saw the entire thing but he can’t be seen or heard because, yk, ghost- And there are NO Spirit Mediums on the train, or in his Associates list.

so uh fuck Klint saying who the murderer was ig-

And Albert could be the one to discover the scene first

If Sholmes is found guilty he gets kicked off the train like Amongus/j

…Okay maybe they could do that but not in the way I pictured (they just grab him and throw him off through the roof while it’s still moving)

or he goes to train jail I Don’t know- how does that work??

There would be more characters but I need to think on who else could be there

Maybe Kazuma could also return for this case, like I said I gotta think

Also I have no fucking idea about the Judge like is there just a random ass generic Judge that so happened to be there- or is the train conductor the judge-

As for how the trials would work: Do they stop and go to a courthouse? No.

They flip the tables to use as desks and they have a train trial.

(I’m I’m being serious this would be how they do the “trial days” they use the previous car as the lobby and the dining car as the courtroom)

Also another fun idea: More victims could arise from this, no idea who

Kinda been thinking about how to incorporate The Great Ace Attorney into my Ace Attorney Swap au (AKA the Diego Armando: Star Attorney AU) story

(Also funfact: it’s named that because “Star” can be a synonym of “Ace” in this context and I wanted the aus name to stand out and not sound like it’s just Ace Attorney but Diego came back from the grave to Attorney, because it’s a swap au not just that, I have nothing against the “Ace Attorney” name, there’s still plenty of “Ace” spectrum attorneys in this au dw)

(keep in mind I don’t know the Entire entire plot of TGAA I just know some shit due to character research on the wiki (I don’t mind spoilers I just really want keep Some story elements a surprise fuk-))

So basically I’m not sure if it’s gonna be it’s own au or if The Great Star Attorney AU (Beta name, might change it) will be more linked to DA:SA, (By that I mean it’s ether gonna be kinda ignored in the present au, or I have snips and hints to it in the present au, maybe flashbacks, basically something like “Oh yeah, my ancestor was a Prosecutor actually, I wonder what he’d think seeing I’m a Defense Attorney.”) (*The prosecutor Ancestor thing is NOT set in stone)

And I’m gonna elaborate on that, so uh, funfact; I headcanon Barok van Zieks as Godot/Diego Armando’s ancestor, even though Diego sure as fuck ain’t British, (I don’t know what he is but I personally think Hispanic)

Eddsworld (Woah hey Eggsworld on an Ace Attorney post- what the fu-) kinda has a similar ancestor situation where Sheriff Thompson is American and Tom, his descendant, is British

Basically somth like that is the deal with the Barok and Diego are Ancestor and Descendant hc

This is this is important to this thought train trust me- You’ll see in a few seconds

So. Get how Ryunosuke is Phoenix’s ancestor and TGAAC has him as the playable character? And how in DA:SA Diego/Godot and Phoenix swap? Guess who would be Technically legally required to be the playable character in the swap au version of TGAAC if you wanted to keep that “Oh hey guess this runs in the ancestry theme”

You guessed it, whoever the hell is Diego’s ancestor.

And do ya see where I’m coming at now? Why I explained the Hc thing?

Barok van Zieks and Ryunosuke Naruhodo are technically legally required to swap under this circumstance.

Well yes I could technically find another character that matches to be his ancestor or make an oc, and make them swap with Phoenix’s ancestor, but that ancestor headcanon train already left the station chugga chugga choo choo. (AKA it’s just solid set to me now, plus that’d be weird to hc this and then just. Not use it in the au that calls upon it?? That specific hc that needs to be dragged out and face the light for the specific au that would be perfect for it??)

I’m still figuring shit out for this though, Do I want to swap the stories? Do I want to keep them (mostly) the same? Do I want Van Zieks to stay a prosecutor or make him be a Defense Attorney?

So many choices- And I have control of it all-

Oh yeah you’d also get to see a vampire attorney as the protagonist so yay (…Vampire Van Zieks hc that’s gonna also be imported to the au. (This goes for them both van Zieks’ not just Barok))

I’ve Got a few Rewrite ideas and I’m bout to make it y’all’s problem

It’s what it says on the tin,

So Context First and Foremost! For this rewrite snip you should know about The Twinbrights! The Twinbrights are a fun goofy Rewrite Concept I have for The Phantom and Bobby Fulbright!

And this post specifically will focus on them,

I just Nicknamed them “The Twinbrights” because in this Rewrite they are Twins, and it’s a dumb funny trademark thing for them-

So in this rewrite idea, Phantom is no longer “wOoOo spoopy big meanie spy your Supposed to be scared of oOoOooooooo” like I might make an actual bad guy to replace OG Phantom, actually fuck might just take a guy from the past and do that-

Phantom is now “Phantom V. Fulbright” and an undercover actor while also still being a Spy, BUT this Phantoms story would actually be an important fun side story, maybe like KC Undercover style/hj They’re also Agender now, Agender Phantom for the win (This Phantom uses They/It’s preferably)

And Bobby or “Robert J. Fulbright” (Yes this blog is Team “Bobby’s full name is Robert” but for me his full name is Robert but on a legal scale he just put it as “Bobby” for whatever reason, maybe he was that used to the nickname, or he did that on purpose cause he almost never goes by “Robert”) (Also more on how that worked, I hc Bobby as Transmasc, so that means he might technically also have to legally change his name?)

Is very very much A L I V E (He lives!) now, you’d actually get to see his character more, the real deal

Phantom is the older twin, by like two minutes-/hj They may look the same as Bobby, but they sure as hell act different

This Phantom would be less emotional on the surface, sure, but they’re hiding their emotions, when reality they’re really emotional and trying not to burst

basically what I’m saying is They’re just as, if not more emotional than Bobby (and that’s saying a lot) but they bottle and bottle and bottle, and they’re literally on the verge of bursting due to this, just one bad thing happening could push them right over the edge, the reason they bottle so much is because Bobby is already so emotional so they thought they’d be a nuance also being so emotional, and undercover spy actor, they can’t exactly go crying every five minutes

This Phantom interpretation also has some insecurity issues and some self worth issues

Basically how the Twinbrights would play out in an AA:DD Rewrite is it pays attention to them both equally at the start, starting from the case they first introduce themselves in, like maybe half the case they’re in is focused on Phantom and the other half on Bobby, (Of their total screen time that is, the cases wouldn’t be ALL about them holy fuck- (I would love a Bobby centered case though))

Slowly the attention shifts more to Bobby rather than Phantom, for this would kinda allude to how Phantom would feel Outshined by Bobby, but hides this. Athena might notice this Discord in their heart at some point,

but she’s gotta get them to interact with her first- (Phantom would probably hear about the Mood Matrix thing and run for the hills from Athena due to they don’t wanna admit jackshit and suffer/hj)

Going into Very unsure territory: like is it any good?

Maybe by the last episode They commit Twin-Swap, aka Bobby dresses as and pretends to be Phantom and vice Versa, because enemy spy’s are after Phantom for their head and Bobby forced them to twin-swap to help save their ass,

But Phantom can’t pull off being Bobby because they can’t deal with this and yk lie detectors *stares at Athena and Apollo*

And the entire cases story is trying to save both twins instead of sacrificing one to save the other, even if Bobby would gladly sacrifice himself if it meant saving Phantom
