24-28 for Omura?
24. Do they have any enemies?
Yes, but they don’t last very long - defeat, misunderstanding, just giving up.. Omura usually comes out on top. It’s hard to fight a god when you realize that it’s just been minding its own business to the best of its dear, sweet ability. I am working on fleshing out a specific nemesis for Omura once it is able to return to the fray of war! And I did have a little bit of a thought about some intra-Temple collisions that often fizzle out once words are actually used.
25. Do they have a daily/nightly routine?
When it was just a little Toglet, most of its routine consisted of: wake up, chew on parent, eat, potty, play, go back to sleep.
When it started to form more of a Togruta-shape and closer to Padawan age, that routine expanded into morning stretches, good meals, a bit of age-appropriate sparring, cool-downs, another meal, playtime, second practice, cool-downs, a nap, a third meal, bathtime, and then bed.
Knighthood, not counting the war, brought up its self-guided interest into its Mandalorian heritage. Spare time was filled with studying language and history, and learning how to pray while in action. But most everything else stayed the same.
After the war and when it leaves the Order is more oriented towards taking care and providing for its family (spouses, children, and mother) but again, stayed the same where possible. Cooking duties were added, spending ample time in a nest, bottle-nursing, and so on so forth. Naptime is non-negotiable and WILL be included every day.
Nightly routines mostly consist of bathtime, teeth brushing, woo-hoo funtimes, and nest-making.
26. Have they met any of their heroes? Did they regret it?
Lucky for Omura, its heroes are in the Jedi Temple. Cin Drallig, Mace Windu, Ephraim Collins, Kit Fisto, Dara Idella, Agen Kolar — Maila, Jacef, many of the ghost Legacy lineage as well, Somogyi and Judro.. then it was able to meet its oldest ancestor, a former Battlemaster of the Order named Okuva Vane who does still wander around the Temple, and it met its late father Huky’Caron Talyl, who sacrificed himself on a mission a year and a half after Omura was born.
It never regretted a single moment of being in their presence.
27. Has a chance encounter ever had an unexpected effect on them?
Does a chance encounter of being in the Temple when Anakin Skywalker was admitted as a youngling, and happening to be with Grandmaster Windu when he was introduced count? Thus prompting Omura to thoroughly sniff and bite him in a friendly gesture and make possibly the most profound friend it will ever know?
28. Are they a #gamer?
If collecting spouses like infinity stones counts as being a #gamer, then yes. Absolutely. Or little foundlings and biological kiddos.

Meet Dr. Marilyn Jones – Biological Dentist
A natural drive for excellence emerged early in Dr. Marilyn Jones’ academic background. She graduated from Pasadena High School with honors. Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos accepted her into their freshman honors program. With a minor in English and a bachelor’s degree in biology-chemistry, she earned a teaching certificate and taught high school chemistry in Texas. Upon receiving a master’s degree in chemistry from University of Houston, Dr. Jones embarked upon a PhD program in science education, supervising student teachers. Initially an assistant professor of chemistry at San Jacinto University, Dr. Jones eventually held a similar role at University of Houston.
Dr. Jones’ mother, who was a nurse, instilled deep health-related values in her daughter, igniting a lifetime passion for healthcare. Dr. Jones’ dental career began in earnest with acceptance to University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1979.
Since that time, her thirst for knowledge has never been quenched. Dr. Jones continues to study dentistry and related advances in healthcare to provide the highest level of modern dentistry possible. She has studied extensively with Dr. Omura, a recognized pioneer in therapeutic acupuncture, and had the privilege of assisting him in 19 years under this tutelage. She has presented with Dr. Omura at conferences across the globe, teaching his Bi-Digital O-Ring test technique. In 2010, she spoke, as Visiting Associate Professor of Holistic Dentistry in the International College of Acupuncture and Electro Therapeutics, at the Japanese Symposium in Tokyo and at the Symposium at Columbia University in New York.
Other mentors, influential in Dr. Jones’ journey into biological dentistry include Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, Dr. Hal Huggins, Dr. Jerry Bouquot, and Bob Jones.

"Surreal" - 🔵@maestro320 s Notes: I woke up in the middle of the night yet I wanted to remain within a dream. My go to, the innovative art and style of Professional Underwater Photographer and Filmmaker Nolan Omura @nolanomura featuring Freediver Ben Ono @silkymerman with the music of Artist, Joji @sushitrash • In certain regions, such as Hawaii and northern Brazil, dolphins spend the daytime resting in shallow bays near deep water. At dusk, they travel offshore to feed. They travel along the shore during foraging trips, and the individuals that occupy the same bay may change daily. Some individual dolphins do not always go to a bay to rest; however, in Hawaii, dolphins do seem to return to the same site each trip. Spinner dolphins live in an open and loose social organization. The spinner dolphins of Hawaii live in family groups, but also have associations with others beyond their groups. Mothers and calves form strong social bonds. Spinner dolphins seem to have a promiscuous mating system, with individuals changing partners for up to some weeks. A dozen adult males may gather into coalitions. Vocalizations of spinner dolphins include whistles, which may be used to organize the school, burst-pulse signals, and echolocation clicks. The spinner dolphin has a 10-month gestation period, and mothers nurse their young for one to two years. Females are sexually mature at four to seven years, with three-year calving intervals, while males are sexually mature at seven to 10 years. Breeding is seasonal, more so in certain regions than others. Spinner dolphins are known for their acrobatics and aerial behaviors. A spinner dolphin comes out of the water front first and twists its body as it rises into the air. When it reaches its maximum height, the dolphin descends back into the water, landing on its side. A dolphin can make two to 5.5 spins in one leap; the swimming and rotational speed of the dolphin as it spins underwater affects the number of spins it can do while airborne. These spins may serve several functions. Dolphins may also make nose-outs, tail slaps, flips, head slaps, "salmon leaps", and side and back slaps. CDC researcher: Physical activity one of the most important ways to improve health
CDC researcher: Physical activity one of the most important ways to improve health Originally published July 27, 2019 by WRVO Public Media. With much discussion on how sedentary Americans are in the present society, researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have created guidelines for activity, all with the message that any exercise is better than none at all. Dr. John D. https://ihtusa.com https://ihtusa.com/cdc-researcher-physical-activity-one-of-the-most-important-ways-to-improve-health/ Originally published July 27, 2019 by WRVO Public Media. With much discussion on how sedentary Americans are in the present society, researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have created guidelines for activity, all with the message that any exercise is better than none at all. Dr. John D. Omura, who works in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity at the CDC in the Physical Activity and Health Branch, spoke with “Take Care” about the CDC and his research. He has helped author several studies relating to exercise, including “Walking as an Opportunity for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention,” which he hopes will encourage more Americans to stay active. “Being physically active is one of the most important things that people of all ages can do to improve their health,” Omura said. According to recent CDC data, in terms of the physical activity levels of Americans, 54% of adults are doing enough aerobic activity to meet CDC guidelines -- an increase of over 10% since 2008 -- while 26% of teens are meeting guidelines. The CDC recently published its second edition of Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, which outlines recommendations for how to boost those numbers. "Some physical activity is better than none. ... Adults who really sit less and do any amount of physical activity gain some health benefits." Being physically active imparts numerous health benefits, Omura said. It fosters normal growth and development, makes people feel, function and sleep better and, importantly, reduces the risk many chronic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, some cancers and depression. The CDC breaks its physical activity guidelines into three basic age groups: preschool-age children (ages 3 to 5), adolescents (ages 6 to 17) and adults (ages 18 and older). Preschool guidelines say those children should be physically active throughout the day. Adolescent guidelines say those children should engage in at least one hour of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day and in muscle and bone-strengthening activity at least three days per week. Adult guidelines are at least 150 to 300 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorous intensity activity per week, with muscle-strengthening activity three days per week. Omura said that, when it comes to adults, it is ultimately important to be active, period. “Some physical activity is better than none,” he said. “Adults who really sit less and do any amount of physical activity gain some health benefits.” CDC’s guidelines also make special mention of specific populations that may have different recommendations, like older adults and pregnant women. Recent trends are hard to discern due to changes in how the data has been measured over the last decade, Omura said, but in general, physical activity in adults has been steadily increasing, while activity in children and adolescents has plateaued. “Those transitions are across the lifespan are really important for us to think about in terms of how we continue to encourage people to be active as they transition into different stages of life,” he said. In addition, the data shows that people who live in urban areas are more active than those in rural areas, which Omura said can be partially explained by walking being easier in cities. Omura said the most common form of aerobic physical activity in America is walking, mostly because nearly everyone can engage in it to at least some degree. “We’re really encouraged by that because walking is a great way to start and maintain an active lifestyle,” he said. “It’s easy. There’s really few barriers to getting involved in walking. … It’s an easy way to integrate physical activity into your daily routine.” Those benefits are why Omura said communities like nursing homes and other organizations should encourage their members to walk on a regular basis. Other methods that can push people to exercise like they should include modern fitness technology like Fitbits and cell phone apps. Omura said devices that track data like steps can encourage users to be more active. “We’re really excited about steps and the use of technology in general,” Omura said. “The technology piece has really been shown to be effective at helping people become more active.” Omura stressed that the devices, however, cannot work by themselves; they have to be paired with other behavior changes to have a beneficial effect on physical health. The CDC is trying to promote activity across the country with numerous efforts, including Active People, Healthy Nation, a mutli-sector program that seeks to outline ways to improve physical activity. Omura and others are working with a variety of partners at the local, state and national level to implement a comprehensive approach to increasing activity in the country, and it is all to show just how important staying active is.
