Day 107

This morning I took Issy to school again. I popped to Aldi to get pot noodles then went to Jack's for the weekly groceries.

This afternoon I went into the office and lots of people were back for some training. It was lovely to see them all.

When I got in from work Issy had cooked tea already...which I had asked her to do but didn't really think she would.

Watched football with Issy. Went next door to finish weeding and cleaning up Jessie's block paving...in the rain!

Drank tea & ate chocolate

Day 100

I cannot believe it is July already. It is quite strange that the summer is flying along. On the one hand its lovely not rushing off to do thing all the time and all we do is work and school work and hang out together but it's getting a bit strange now not going anywhere. It's still hard to believe this has happened and we've been in covid lockdown for 100 days.

I'm pretty relaxed about shopping in Jack's now as its usually really empty. I don't miss the constant searching for delivery slots from supermarkets all the time.

I went into the office today and then just watched loads and loads of Champions League football this evening.

Day 95

I took Issy back to her cleaning job for the first time today since lockdown began..

I had a leisurely start to my day even though I was going into the office. I made it in by 11 and got the cleaning out of the way first. Then got on with timesheets and kept busy until nearly 6.

After work I ran around Jacks for much needed supplies and tea and gin!! I didn’t get home until nearly 7 and did a quick pizza for tea.

The news and social media is full of the beaches being FULL of people who cannot possibly social distance as there are so many of them. People are outraged. We were supposed to go to Hunstanton tonight but it just didn’t happen. If it was as full though as the reports are showing I would just turn around go home again. William is keen to go though and as he has only left the house once in 14 weeks I need to made it happen.

Monday 15th June 2020

Day 84

Still locked down....sort of. Shops (other than) supermarkets) are starting to open now. Issy is going in to school for 1 hour a week starting on Wednesday but William isn't.

I finished replacing the patio tiles at the back of the garden today. Hard work but really pleased with the result.

Issy tried to pump up the tyres on her bike but we couldn't find the attachment for the strange valves. I've ordered one from Amazon now.

Issy and I went for a walk to deliver biscuits to birthday boy Bradley and then we walked from the back of chestnut meadows along the side of the fields to cooks yard. It was lovely 😍

Cuppa and cookies for us when we got in.

Day 80

I went into the office today. It was good to have reliable internet as mine is so slow lately. Tracy wasn’t there as the weather was due to be rainy, although in the end it wasn’t as bad as the forecast.

I watched a slug this evening for my 30 days wild activity and found out they have a blow hole.

I played more candy crush.

Day 121

Went to work today. Tracy was in so we ate lunch together. She’s so fabulous. There weren’t many people in today and it was a good day. 

I left work late and stopped for food at Jacks and bought home pizza AGAIN. It is becoming a Wednesday thing. 

This evening I did some weeding of my lovely flower bed and added a few extra things from pots including a lovely poppy that I grew from seed. I listened to gardeners question time and women’s hour while I weeded.

I have decided that I won’t write this lockdown diary every day from now on as I am struggling to find the time. In theory we aren’t really in lockdown anymore anyway although we still aren’t going anywhere. Issy goes to cleaning and went to school a day a week for a few weeks. William went for jabs and a walk to the park with Ella. I have been to work and food shopping and Stuart has been to work as usual through the whole of lockdown. We are still social distancing and washing our hands lots to stay safe but we need to venture out and about a bit especially as the summer holidays are here now. Hopefully we will see family again soon and the beach is calling us!!

Day 116

Went to work today. Stopped at the shops for supplies and tuckshop grub.

There were lots of people in this afternoon. It was a bit of a day!!

It was hot hot hot today!!

Got home late. Stu had cooked the tea AGAIN!!

Went to Amie's for a drink tonight with the girls. Walked there and got 10k steps. Was fairly good and didn't get home too too late.

Tuesday 7th July 2020

Day 106

I didn't hear my alarm this morning but luckily woke up at 7.15, I had to get Stu's car to the garage in Warboys fairly early for its service. Tracy picked me up as I was walking to work. Its the first time I've been in someone else's car. I need to buy some masks.

I had to ring UPS and try to get them to collect the parcel that should have been collected yesterday. They should have arrived by 4pm but at 5 they still hadn't been. Tracy took me back up to the garage to collect the car and then I came back to work.

Stopped at Jack's on the way home and bought Pizza for tea. I was shattered and got into my pyjamas early and watched football with Issy. We had a cuppa out in the conservatory while keeping an eye on the Arsenal v Leicester City score. We scored first but they equalised.

Thursday 18th June 2020

Day 87

I woke with a niggle in my neck which lasted most of the day.

I eventually made it in to work after lots of procrastinating and a stop at Jacks for supplies.

After work I cooked tea and then chilled out with Issy and a cuppa in the garden. 

We watched this weeks sewing bee and we were a bit sad as our favourite Liz was voted off. Next week is the final. Issy made a pattern from her dungarees ready to sew herself a pair. If they work out I might make a pair for me too.

Day 86

Took Issy for first hour long session at the school today. We saw an owl on the way back.

I had a quick lunch and then forced myself into the office.

Tonight after tea Issy went for a bike ride as the valve had arrived from amazon so she could blow her tyres up.

I planted some of my flower bed up and decided to put the black grasses into the lovely orange pots from Tracy.

Cuppa with Issy and then some more spring watch and another late night.

Day 52

I woke with an achy chest and back this morning. Not sure what’s going on with my old body at the moment.

I went to work to help Tracy in the garden and it was very lovely to see her and nice to get out of the house...but I couldn’t wait to get home too.

Gemma messaged me to tell me there were Tesco slots so I managed to get one for next wednesday. I don’t know what I’d do without her.

I stopped at the Green Welly Garden centre on the way home. It was really well stocked so I will definitely be going back there soon. I bought some strawberry plants, a cucumber plant, a new watering can and a bag of vermiculite. No idea how to use it but Monty is always talking about it.

I’m still watching suits on netflix when I cook the dinner and Harvey & Donna got together AT LAST!!!
