Today, a friend came over to hang out while our menfolk were out playing Warhammer 40k. We had a good day! We ate, chatted, and painted. I really wanted to have a sailor moon picture, so I painted one using a projector as a 'stencil'. I know it's not perfect, but it's mine.

It's important to have friends to hang out with and remind you that you're indeed a person, not just a tool for the family. I think our men orchestrated this plot to have us hang out, because it turns out she needed the girl time as well.

We tried to go thrifting, but my children were being heathens so we turned around and went home, and then made them go outside so they would get out of our hair. I love thrifting, so this turn of events made me sad.
