The things we don't say (have I given enough) is a royal fic, with giant royal sbi, and human thief's bench trio. Tommy was adopted by the royals and he grew up there, but always felt like he was useless and worthless, being human in a castle of giants. So he runs away, without saying anything, only going to come back once he has their weight in gold. The way he gets the treasure is... Not exactly honourable, and it's how he meets Tubbo and Ranboo, also thiefs, and willing to help Tommy. They become friends quickly. Now, I'm not saying any more because I don't want to spoil anything (and cause you know what happens already), so let's move on to the next one.

Yes, I can see that you've guessed what Just try not to crash is, and yes I am forced to give you more info. Just try not to crash is a jornos submission fic for @i-am-beckyu, which miiight be Wilbur giving Tommy a remote control car, + shenanigans. This fic was supposed to contain pure fluff, and it still might, but I'm on g/t angst brainrot, so you can never be too sure >:] (They ended up naming the car Carl because of Techno, since they asked for a name)

Rescue me from my despair is with faerie Tommy and human Wilbur, with Techno and Phil appearing later... it's a oneshot about Wilbur and Tommy being (technically) brothers, but Wilbur is scared to tell Techno and Philza about Tommy, since faeries tend to lead people towards unspeakable dangers. The rhyme in the beginning goes so:

Don't listen when the fae calls,

Doesn't matter how much they coo,

You're safe if you ignore them,

But when you follow them, the dangers true.

Sooooo yeah, that might not be the best beings to befriend. So Wilbur gets hurt in the forest before Techno and Philza come to visit him, (they visit weekly, and Wilbur hides Tommy everytime) and Tommy has to convince the humans that no, he is NOT trying to murder them, he is trying to save Wilbur. (I do like this idea :])

"Did you just say the ENTIRE doughnut!?" Was a funny idea I had where a borrower attempted to borrow (yoink) an entire doughnut from under the humans nose, just because they could. Obviously they get caught, and shenanigans ensue.

Your life will be the death of me is a soulmate doll au, in which the borrower has the humans... Voodoo doll? Let's just go with that. Anyway, the borrower has the humans doll, borrower size of course, and see it as a lucky charm, taking it with them everywhere. It seems to work too! They can do a ton of risky things, super dangerous too, and get harmed without getting hurt! Super lucky, right? Well... the human is very concerned about their soulmate. They know that the soulmate will take the others pain when holding the doll, so they are very careful as to not hurt them. Apparently the soulmate does not know that, for they have gotten harmed multiple times. What on earth could they be doing!? And to top it all off, the house they just moved into seems to have mice. Just great. Now they need to go buy traps from the store...

Hehe, can you imagine what would happen when the human gets hurt from their own trap? I can >:)

1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 6! One for The Witcher and 5 for JJBA.

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 6,498 <3 So few!!! For now <3

3. What fandoms do you write for? JJBA, One Piece and maybe a few others in future. Buuut mostly those two right now. Even if the OP shit is unreleased. And Resident Evil!!! Hopefully soon.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Well this is sorta easy with only 6 works in total. BUT. His Sweet Kiss (Geraskier fluff), Letters from a lover (compilation of short letters from characters), If I could be with you tonight (Gyro angst), Ties that Bind (Dio fic...... that I uhhh,,, haven't continued. Whoops) and Phantom Pains / Fleurs Captives (Diabeth angst) !!!

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes! I do try to! I don't get them very often, mostly because I'm only recently getting back onto writing platforms. But I do try to. I like people who enjoy my works to know the support is appreciated.

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Definitely Phantom Pains. Out-of-the-blue Diabeth angst ending in grief and regret... I do love writing angst and I don't shy away from sad endings either! Although I do love a good happy end too <3

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Speaking of.... His Sweet Kiss is definitely the happiest one, at least so far. My lost-to-time fics from the Wattpad era weren't exactly happy, so I think a fluffy mess like HSK is the best right now.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not yet. Yet. It'll happen eventually I'm sure.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do! I have yet to publish any of it, though. Mostly because I am incredibly picky when it comes to smut, and by extension incredibly finicky with my own smutty works. As for what kind? Ah... a mix.

10. Do you write crossovers? I don't. I don't even think I'd necessarily consider it for anything other than a crackfic.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I have not! But I have had people copy my writing suspiciously closely.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? I have not, but I would be honoured if someone offered to, and I hope that at some point I'm fluent enough in another language to do so myself.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? I have not. I'm semi-open to the idea of it, but also... kind of sounds stressful.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? Ahhhh..... Geraskier held my heart for a very long time. I'm also a YenRalt truther, though. I struggle a little to compute ships nowadays but I think Dinopants is really fun. and Satosugu.

15. What’s a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? Oh god, the Dio fic I started and then never continued. It was meant to be a look into Diabeth over the years but I changed a lot of things since I started it, so I may have to scrap the whole thing and restart.

16. What are your writing strengths? Description. I love describing things and spaces and people more than anything and I think that love has lead to a lot of practice. I can be a little flowery at times but I don't particularly mind it. It's not for everyone, though.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Dialogue. I never know how much to have people say or not say. It's something I need to practice. On the flipside, sometimes I have characters say too much and then I completely neglect action. I just need to get better with it all-round.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I do it! And I respect other writers who have the balls to do it (and potentially cock it up). I tend to check, and double/triple check it.

19. First fandom you wrote for? If I'm being honest it was probably Skullduggery Pleasant, back before I even knew Fanfiction was a thing. And I read it out in front of my class at the time. I think I was about 10.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? Honestly? Every since I wrote Phantom Pains it's been my pride and joy. I really love my use of description and imagery and tone in that one specifically. I just really love it.

Thank you for inviting me to your tumblr :) As you know, I'm desperately trying to avoid the actual books, both for "spoilers" (since I'm basically reading your story like one would any novel) and because it's one thing to start a story then a character you like dies. It's another to go into it knowing your favourite character will die - and I'm not sure I can do that lol. I suppose it also depends how much Jordie is actually in the book(s). Given y'all have a whole tag about him living, I'm leaning towards he's in there enough to be loved. But, hey, like I said, there's a whole character in one of my fandoms who is beloved and has the equivalent of a "Jordie lives" tag and he's based off 1 line, soo….. But I'm still tempted because I like your story so much (and I kinda maybe have a fic idea… <.< >.>) Although, I will read the wiki if I end up getting hopelessly confused.

I do have 1 question: I've assumed my guess on Kaz's identity is correct, bc it just makes too much sense not to be. Does he have a redemption arc in the books? Or is he just bad/morally grey? Or is my question itself wrong because I'm missing too much context? I don't know if I could do both "my favourite character is going to die and I know this before ever interacting with the source material" AND "my other favourite character went 'evil'/cruel/maybe a bit psychopath not really sure and stays that way" - especially not if they're introduced as young children (which I'm assuming they are lol, lot of assumptions here).

Buuut, I also recently found out that the Six of Crows books aren't the first ones? So maybe I could read the Shadow and Bones trilogy and not have to deal with those things? Just to get a flavour of the canon world. And then I also saw that there's some companion books, like the one on the saints - which sounds interesting, but I would probably find infuriating, given what you've written of the Church in your story ROFL - and the one with in-world fairy tales - THAT sounds really good. I might do that one even if I don't ever give the actual canon stuff a try.

Jordie has a decent presence in the books for what his role is--we have a couple of flashback chapters that were the basis for the first two chapters of a guest and Kaz continues to remember him/imagine his presence. Enough to get a decent sense of who he was, I think (though of course fandom loves to run wild with the scraps of characterization we get as a general rule)

As for Kaz--you're right about his identity (probably pretty obvious from the tags in retrospect, since his name on Ao3 is Kaz Brekker) and in the books he is a main character/narrator. You have to remember that the information you got last chapter wasn't really coming from the most reliable sources-a lot of it was rumor and gossip and trying to shock/scare Jordie--Kaz is complicated, but not a villain, and better than he likes to think he is.

You can certainly read Shadow and Bone if you want and it'll help you understand the world but it's...it's got a lot of cool concepts and interesting side characters and the Netflix adaptation is fantastic but the books themselves were some of Bardugo's first published work and it kind of shows. They're very much of the early-mid 2010s YA (I think I read them in 2015?). If your taste goes that way, I say go for it, but otherwise I would just recommend watching the Netflix series to get a primer on the world/characters. I haven't read the tie-in stuff myself but if it's recent it's probably pretty good.

If you do have a fic idea though I'd love to hear about it because this fandom has consumed my life for like the past several years and is one of the few things keeping me sane through law school lol :D

LIMEYYYY, thank you sm for this ask!! I actually haven't gotten into detail w/ these dorks yet... 😳 Guess the day is today to talk about them!

For reference, there's two versions of this ship now, so I'll go over both of them! Starting with Night Guard SI.

Lowkey inspired by the wonderful fic, Solar Lunacy ( @bamsara ), River is a struggling, would-be artist who needed some cash. Turns out, local Pizzaplex is looking for a nightguard, they pay stupid-well, and the wacky hours... Well, suppose they've done worse than a funky sleep schedule, right?

Turns out, that high price was for a reason. Chaos abound, Sun's odd attitude, Moon's..............himself, and the rest of the crew. It's a lot, but also... Whatever. Local fan/nerd of AI is delighted to be surrounded by such smart machines and treats them as people unthinkingly. (But also a little thinking-ly, because they believe in that kinda thing. Don't think too hard about the times they've talked to themself or inanimate objects, though...)

On a sidenote, they're closest to Freddy. (Perhaps, predictably, given his oddly fatherly nature.) Chica wormed her way in there by force, Roxanne is cool (and she pretends so hard that she isn't touched by that), and Monty... Is Monty; respectable distance given.

To give better details, tho-!!

.: First Meeting :.

River started working in the daytime to first meet Sun. Essentially settling them in with the "better" half to the duo...with the hope of avoiding the other entirely, given how much of a menace [and beyond] he could be.

For better or worse, River and Sun get mutually attached. And it sort of rubs off on Moon, with a pinch of them refusing to simply give up on him or stay afraid. (For their own good, far as he's concerned.) Buuut it helps that they're horribly oblivious- in every way that matters- and stubborn to boot.

Perhaps the only downside to the relationship is Moon pushing them to sleep is...a not unfounded ask; River is terrible at having a consistent bedtime, even with the busywork the Pizzaplex passes down. Even with the drama of the animatronics around them. If anything, the exhaustion goes up, the fussing of the Daycare Attendant rockets up ever skyward. Perhaps, ironically, all things considered.

.: Methods / Habits of Comforting :.

☀️ Sun being the energetic one, his methods of comfort mean rarely slowing down unless the situation truly calls for it. (And even then, bouncing in place enough to count it as stimming behavior.) He likes to tease, play games, and generally try to get River to relax via... I guess you could say "childish" methods, but definitely aren't unfounded ideas, either.

They've started bringing their mobile console (totally not the Switch) to work sometimes- when active service hours are out and the lights will be on for a portion of the night- and Sun LOVES seeing their video game progress! Their village in one game delights him, and the pocket monster game... They both have too much fun with that one. Sun pets the lil guys sometimes, while River watches. (He doesn't wanna play battles, though. The idea of them fainting concerns him. Too much pressure!)

Is also the main 'bot to ensure River eats, and does so in a somewhat healthy way, for what little the Pizzaplex can offer.

🌙 Moon, on the other hand, is a lot more quiet with his comforts. A lot of comforts from his side involve relaxation, sleeping/naps, quiet time, and parallel play (typically with him lurking over River's shoulder in some way).

In the beginning, "parallel play" is a BIG thing for Moon. Kinda like a feral cat, he's content at keeping his distance and assisting where need be. Making sure they don't get hurt on the job. Maybe scurrying off and dropping treats into River's path/on their head. They're vending machine snacks. They can't really complain; food is food. Water or other drinks (commonly Fizzy Faz) are left on any table or flat surface Moon can find.

Later on, after he's able to relax some and become the naptime 'bot again, River starts trusting him more to be asleep around. They take a long time to fall asleep, so Moon immediately started finding ways to aid their naps or sleepovers; finding preferred plushies in the Plex, needling River into bringing/buying blankets to bring over, setting up a hammock, etc.

It's actually this kind of motivation that actually makes their private room get decorated quite a bit before the Pizzaplex goes up in flames... (And yet, he ensures the fires don't get to that stuff. Almost gains extra damage because of it; Sun and Moon are dedicated to protecting it.)

Post-Pizzaplex burning, Moon rebuilds the "cozy nest" in River's apartment. They get put in "time out" there whenever they get overworked, are overly stressed, and so on. Along with the addition of Moon nabbing their candles and comfort items to put in there...if he can get away with it.

...They do have a small, moon phases blanket that's a major comfort item, and that typically stays in the main bedroom. (Secondary room was more of an office/workspace, but Sun/Moon command it later on.) Moon lowkey preens over that information.

Sun, on the other hand, is just glad to be here. However, he does take every opportunity to mother hen all he wants now that he gets to personally see into the life River leads. (Which is about what he expected, if a little worse. Honestly! Why wait so long to throw away trash?! "When I get up next," do it sooner!! Messy, messy!)

And then... There's my animatronic SI! Currently nicknamed "Dancer" for lack of a name idea.

Made for Sun/Moon, it was management's hope that they would be able to keep the two in line. For Sun, less stress and ability to give kids more even attention with a companion. For Moon, to keep him in check and prevent (harm) any danger to the restless kids during naptime.

Their base comes from Ballora; essentially the ballerina has been remade into a playful, breezy assistant! A flowing gown, gentle elf ears, and peaceful, closed eyes. Even their body is padded, to aid in comfort when holding or carrying kids.

Much like Moon, they have a music box in their chest, and often dance while it goes off.

Although they are overall a pleasant addition and Sun adores them (Moon has complicated feelings), Dancer has, occasionally, been a problem for management. Hair sometimes catching on their joints and causing chaos. Paint getting on their hair. The occasional malfunction, as well. (Much to Sun's panic.)

On that note, though, Dancer and Sun/Moon rather balance each other out! Where Sun gets stressed, Dancer is able to soothe him into peace. Even Moon, who has complicated feelings for the assistant (to this assistant), appreciates their company. He's hesitant to ever admit it, but he likes their singing voice. (Sun, however, would admit that in an instant.)

Going to surprise absolutely nobody and ask for Hyrule :)

Ah thank you! You may be surprising nobody but now I get to ramble about my son for... Less words than I could have, but my hands are achey. So I'm happy! If you'd said IDK Time I probably would have struggled xD I love him, but I stare at him with a headache.

First impression - I do not really remember my first takes of him? I think he unfortunately just got entirely overlooked the first time I read. Shame upon myself (joking - with that many characters someone has to be overlooked. too much to hold them all in brain at once)

Impression now - my dear, sweet, wonderful blorbo, who can and would murder you if needed, but wouldn't want to. he'd much rather fix problems than cause them. he still causes problems, though, because people do. It happens sometimes. could do with some therapy and some self-esteem and some realising you have value not because your skills or deeds have value (which you also need to learn tbh) but also just for being alive, but couldn't we all? I'm sorry, I put you through hell because my brain defaults to angst and I love you. Also semi-post-apoc plus blood curse plus fairy form? Just a puddle of my favourite things.

Favourite moment - that one bit where Hyrule and Warriors absolutely wreck some dudes? I love that. There's all sorts of good little bits, but I really like that one because they're both happy? Even if they did kinda abandon Sky ^^;

Idea for a story - Hmm... I've got a couple being worked on, but for something I've not even started yet... Here from my notes: "Hyrule runs away in the Lost Woods, because something one of the other says/does causes him to panic and alive places are safe places. He's injured and hurting and desperate to be hidden, and so the Chain (let's be real, mostly Time) has to convince the forest to let him go. The forest is a bit unsettled by him, but not willing to give up a consenting victim." Not sure I'll ever get to it, but you know. It's on the list.

Unpopular opinion - I... Don't know? If I read opinions I don't like I just kinda skim past and move on from it, and I don't see much at all I fundamentally disagree with. I sometimes do things to him which don't match the majority of fic, like both giving him parents he remembers and have him be from Hyrule in the same verse, but that's not really an opinion. It's just what worked for that story. I mean I don't ship him with one of his Zeldas either, but it wouldn't stop me reading something. I just... Don't?

Favourite relationship - hmmm. Tricky. I mean I lurk in the Hyrule&Legend AO3 tag (its like 90% of the time open on my phone), so probably them? I also like it a lot. Just. Not only are they both the same timeline, but its fun to weave them together. They can teach each other a lot,

Favourite headcanon - I... typed something then realised it was a bit dark for just random twitter asks without covering it in warnings, so um... Something lighter... Hm. Wait no my lighter got very dark as well. Actually, still kinda dark *gestures vaguely at the angst comment up top* buuut... After they're used he stitches up the Link Dolls as best he can. However many functional ones he has left (and it does vary by story/verse when I write) he still keeps them all, and hugs them at night. There's a little schedule to make sure none of the dolls get hugged more than the others - he also panics if he can't find one. Even if its a used one. For the longest time they were his only companions, refusing to spend time with people for fear of the monsters going after them, and he knows soon enough they'll be the only friends he dares endanger once again... That's a very tiny headcanon, but I do very like it. It's (mostly) just cute.
