i miss fanfiction era 2014. i miss tattoos and flower crowns and coffee shop AUs and romanticizing the mundane and jocks and rockstars. bring back the sickeningly sweet meet cutes!!! rot my teeth with fluff!!!
It's not as good of an experience as the keychain pet, on account of it not being always on, and always with you. But it's definitely more visually impressive and accessible.
Your Tama has a different walk animation depending on if it's hearts are full or not, which is very helpful when going for perfect care, you're meant to feed or play with the classic tamas as soon as they lose a heart. This is a common mistake among kids and millenials who are trying to get back into Tamagotchis after seeing the 2017 remakes in the toy isle. If the classic tamas animations changed like this, it would be so much easier.
Also, this game isn't great to play on a gameboy because you have to always be holding it, and it's gonna drain your battery while you wait for the Tamagotchi to need you for something... but if you're like me, a retro game nerd with a SNES and a flash cart that can play Gameboy Games natively by using Super Gameboy technology, and you have a CRT in your room with your actual TV... it's actually pretty nice to passively play it while you are doing something else, as long as the volume is down. I kind of like the main music loop, but not looping for several hours.
Anyway, Bebe the Kuchipatchi is now 8 days old. And I just accidentally discovered I can advance the time when it sleeps.
hello, friends! i started writing fanfiction when i was thirteen years old. after hours of scouring the internet, i finally found my old FFN account and had the pleasure of rereading the first ever fanfiction i wrote.
to celebrate a decade of growth, i would like to share it with you.
