Important Authors question: How are some of the names pronounced? As a reader of foreign literature, and literature with more uncommon names I always enjoy seeing an Authors/translators note on how the names of characters/places/etc are pronounced.

Zadie Meyer

So, Zadie is pronounced just like Sadie ('Say-Dee') but just replacing the 'S' with a 'Z' (so more 'Zay-Dee')

Dr. Jericho Nwadike

One thing I was really looking forward to with Speak Not was one of my main characters being Nigerian-American, since I myself am Nigerian-American but I've never written a character sharing my cultural identity before. Anyway, Nwadike is pronounced 'Nnwa-Dee-Kay'.

Adamma Nwachukwu

Jericho's mother... And to say anything else would be to betray her reputation. To pronounce this your best shot would be 'Ah-Dah-Ma Nnwa-Choo-Koo'
