Cant believe square is releasing the ff7 remaster thats basically just the ninostyle chibi mod but not as cute as the ninostyle mod for smartphones

If anyone's curious, these are the set of mods I used to replay OG FF7 as a Remastered version. As far as I know this is PC only but might work on Mac and Linux. And the version I use is specifically PC 2013, but supposedly the mods work with 1998 PC. Not sure on the script mod though.

7thHeaven mod loader - Download here.

Reunion script retranslation mod - Manual download, works alongside 7thHeaven.

Satsuki Yatoshi Upscale Mod v5 (Field, World Map, Battle, Spells, Minigame) + FMV v6 - Preloaded in 7thHeaven, but link here. Reportedly you can't use the All-in-One if you're also gonna be using some other stuff so fair warning.

Ninostyle Chibi - Manual download last I remember, can load into 7thHeaven. Specifically this is the Chibi version not the full sized non-battle models. This also includes vehicles.

Cosmos FMV - Preloaded in 7thHeaven but link here. (Ninostyle models in FMVs.)

Enhanced Stock UI - Preloaded in 7thHeaven but link here.

Nomura Alt Avatar Pack - Manual download last I remember, can load into 7thHeaven.

You can now play Final Fantasy 7 with 3D character models closer to Tetsuya Nomura’s concept art

NiNoStyle has been working on an interesting project for the original version of Final Fantasy 7. This mod aims to balance stylized Final Fantasy VII characters with 3D models in a style based on Tetsuya Nomura’s concept art.

On December 11th, the modder released a new version of this 3D Model pack. Naturally, this latest version aims to enhance your Final Fantasy VII playing experience, by improving some of the 3D models.

Do note that this mod does not aim to change the game’s aesthetics like the Advent Children pack. While the models are not as “blocky” as before, they retain their anime-like look. They are also not as detailed as the Advent Children models, something that will definitely please all FF7 purists fans out there.

In order to install this pack, you’ll need to install and run the manager from 7th Heaven Mod Manager page. Once you’ve done that, you can download the 7th Heaven compatible versions from here.

Lastly, you can find a video below showcasing these new 3D models in action. Therefore, be sure to watch it as it will give you an idea of the mod’s visual improvements and enhancements.

Random things I found while going through my image files:

I don't remember why I edited Cloud into holding a fish or Sephiroth holding the Buster Sword but I do remember trying to finagle FF7 into a fully updated remaster before FF7R was out.

I think at the time I used it, the background stuff didn't properly install through some user error with the program.
