I doubt Wu would train him against Misako’s wishes (see every episode of Season 1 before 10), but Lloyd would definitely come across them eventually

Plus given her mild reaction to Lloyd’s growth and the fact that he recognizes each her, she only left recently, when he was older

Plus plus, he would be safe at Darkly’s, Garmadon is literally Kruncha and Nuckal’s boss, they can’t hurt him

Were there better choices she could’ve made? Yes, but that doesn’t mean the choice she made was wrong.

1.) It always catches me off guard that Vengestone premiered as an idea in Season 1 rather than much later in Season 5/6.

2.) Based on how Wu said "our elemental powers", speaking when the ninja were trying to get the Golden Weapons, and some of the ninja occasionally used small and weak bursts of their powers without the weapons in Season 1 and 2 (if I'm remembering correctly), it kind of hints towards the fact that at some point the ninja were probably supposed to be able to use their powers without the weapons prior to the concept of Season 3.

Everyone talks about how the later seasons makes the earlier seasons darker.

The most obvious is the ninja reuniting with Wu after the Devourer was defeated. While halfway across town Harumi was having her villain origin story.

But I’ve never seen anyone mention how Morro died in the same cave that had the Scythe of Quakes.

Meaning that during the pilot, unbeknownst to everyone. Morro’s body was there. And I don’t care how obvious that is. It deserves more attention

I like the idea of changing the golden weapons, I hadn't thought of that! So maybe it was a bit unclear in the last ask (sorry!) but Bentho is not with them until season 5, so still 4 elements of creation. I like your weapon ideas though!! I'm thinking maybe to switch the Chain Whip and the Tonfas though so the lightning weapon can get static electricity before attacking (I really liked that in cannon lol). I love the spear for ice and the hammer for earth, I think they make more sense than the cannon ones. Might be funny/realistic if Vania had a hard time using the hammer and had to build up muscle and stuff.

*Rereads Curseworld Part 2 plot* Ok so last time I was wrong. Lloyd has to make some move to help stop the Preeminent after Morro's reformation talk and dies with the other ghosts (How do ghosts die? How does that work? Will this show ever make any sense?) until he's brought back in DotD and goes through the rift. Not sure if he sticks around with the ninja or finds his own thing to do but he does talk and make up with Garm in the end.

Thinking about how Ninjago S2 is probably one of my favorite pieces of television I've ever watched. It flows so well off of season 1 and allows those arcs to spread and grow.

It gave us the Mega Weapon, the Stone Army, the Overlord, lore for the Destiny's Bounty, let us actually meet Zane's dad, Misako, cured Garmadon, gave Lloyd his best arc (which the movie pretty much pulled from and the show still does), still is the Overlord's best defeat,

The characters actually have interesting dynamics with each and every one of each other that allows them to truly feel like a found family with history (and both Jay AND Kai get to react to things that happen to Nya, not just her Yin),

We got one of my favorite 3D-animated fights of all time,

And let's be honest, the show peaked right here (in a positive way).

From 9:57 to 9:59 while the ninja are going down the mountain in their Golden Weapon vehicles, Kai's bike drastically slows down in the air to the point where it is barely moving and allows Zane's and Cole's vehicles to cover a bit more ground a get closer to him.
