Oh BOI DO I! (❛ᴗ❛) And skjnasdwasd, thank you, Night! ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д`ﾟ)ﾟ｡ I’m happy to hear I have company in this dumpster fire of an idea. :’D

I’m actually working on a couple snippets for this lovely boyo. Might start up a drabble series for him? (...I already have a prospective title)╭( ๐_๐)╮

More info and snippets under the cut, since it’s touching on dark themes and subject matter.

I’m still working on fleshing him out, but I imagine Black to be an obsessive, possessive, and delusional type of yandere. I’m also basing this as if you don’t have an established relationship of any kind with him (or any of main cast). You don’t even know who he is because wow you really suck at keeping up with the news, oops.

He keeps running into you, and each time, you wind up doing something that catches his attention while also endearing you to him. At the same time, however, it has him thinking: this human is too reckless. They keep putting themself in dangerous situations that threaten their safety and as he begins to fall deeper into his obsession with you, he finds himself thinking: he needs to fix that.

He begins stalking you, leading to him quickly realizing just how often you put yourself in these precarious situations. And we can’t have anymore of that, now can we?

It’s easy for him to learn all he needs to know about you: your favorite x, y, z; your hobbies; the name of your pet(s); who your closest friends and family are; what an average day is like for you; et cetera. He fantasizes about you, injecting himself into your life, often putting himself in the place of a friend, a lover, or whoever you’re closest to. If you already have an s/o, he won’t be happy about it but don’t worry, he’ll be sure to deal with them soon. He sets to work isolating you from your peer group, setting things up perfectly for you and him to be together.

Once he has you, he’s not above drugging you to make you more compliant, nor is he against using physical and magical strength to overpower you. When it comes down to it, the latter is typically his go-to method of putting you in your place. He wouldn’t go so far as to permanently disfigure you, so no open wounds or amputations, but he isn’t against say... breaking your legs to keep you from running away.

He’s unsettlingly sweet and cheery when he talks to you, and he doesn’t gaslight, but you can just feel the ominous edge to his voice, the hidden threat lurking beneath. It doesn’t take you long to learn not to push your luck with him; he’s very quick to give you “lessons” and teach you the “right” behaviors and responses. You might be a little resistant and stubborn at first but he’s willing to be patient for you.

But yeah, the snippets I’ll share in a bit will likely give a little more insight into this guy. :)

Feel better!

Just a one shot I wrote for a sweetheart (@nighttimepixels ) who hasn't been feeling well. You deserve to feel better and be taken care of by your favorite skelly!

You sit at your desk, staring at your computer screen. Your head is starting to hurt, but there's just so much work to be done. Mountains and mountains of questions and messages to be answered, chapters to be written, coding to be done, and a pile of commissions that just keeps growing. You sigh and run a hand through your slightly damp hair...is it hot in here of is it just you?

Rus sits on your bed, strumming his guitar. The gentle notes swallowing the sounds your clacking keyboard makes. He looks from his strings when he hears you sigh and frowns. "ya alright darlin?"

"I'm fine hun. I've just got a lot on my plate right now." You swivel your chair around to offer him a tired, yet reassuring smile. He doesn't seem very reassured, and your head doesn't appreciate the sudden motion.

"should take a break darlin, ya look like ya bout ready ta keel ova."

You wave his concern off. "No way! I'm way behind and I really don't want to disappoint anyone."

"jus a short one yeah? ain't no one gonna be mad at ya fer takin care a yaself."

You whine and start to argue, but things start to go black and the ground is quickly rushing to meet you. Rus sets his guitar off to the side, quickly flashing over to grab you before you hit the ground. He cradles you in his arms, resting the back of his hand against your forehead. He frowns and sighs, you definitely have a fever.

Your work is saved and your computer is shut down for the day, like hell is Rus letting you back on it until you're feeling better. He carries you out to the living room and lays you down on the couch, surrounding you with blankets and pillows, kinda like a make shift nest. He stares down at your passed out form and lets out a fond, but exasperated sigh. He loves you, but you worry him sick when this happens.

When you wake, it's to the sound of "On your mark, get set, bake!" You don't remember turning that on, you don't even remember how you got out here. "Rus?" You call out, sitting up to look for your favorite skeleton.

Rus is just beside your mini nest, fiddling with a rubix cube. He brightens a bit when he notices you're awake. "m here darlin, no need ta worry."

"What happened?" You look around, realizing where you are. You're in your living room, snugged into your favorite blanket. There's a small pile of books on the table in front of the couch and the remote is within your reach.

"gotta real high feva an blacked out at ya desk, worried tha shit outta me." Rus tucks his cube away and stands up. "puttin ya on couch rest till ya feelin betta." He walks out of the room.

"Where are you going?"

"ta get ya some tea. jus get cozy an let me take care a ya."

You can't find it in yourself to argue, settling back into your pile of pillows and trying to focus on the cute cakes on the tv.

When Rus returns, it's with a cup of peppermint tea and a bottle of honey. "didn't uh, know how much ya'd want? careful, it's hot. bout as hot as ya're right now actually," he chuckles.

You giggle and stick your tongue out at him. "Guess I am pretty hot right now. A hot mess."

He just grins and pets you, passing over the tea and honey. "my mess though."

You flush, though it's hard to tell if it's from the fever or what he said, and take both items. "Thanks hun."

He grins. "s'wha i'm here fer."

You add the honey to your tea and pass it back to Rus. He takes it back to the kitchen for you. When he returns for the second time it's with a container of mocha almond fudge, almond milk ice cream. He sets it, and a spoon down on the table. "fer if ya get too hot wit tha tea." He snuggles back onto the couch next to you and returns to fidgeting with his rubix cube. "let me know if ya need somethin else kay?"

You brighten when you see the ice cream, he had your favorite flavor! "Thanks again hun."

Rus grins and nuzzles you a bit. "like i said, s'no problem darlin. love ya."

You smile and sip your tea. "Love you too Rus." You relax, looking forward to a whole day of pampering and doting from your favorite skeleton.

Okay 1), I am living for the surge of content on my dash thanks to your return and Excellent Tastes, 2), I am delighted you got to take a vacation and go have fun, but 3), /OH MY GODS// I literally saw that... that exact same skeleton in an airport in front of the same shop while traveling last week. I was in a rush and didn't get a picture but I am /wheezing/ because I have no idea if we were in the same airport, or if that chain just aggressively loves dapper skeleton lads.

If it was the Kansai International airport, then we may have been at the same place at different times!

If not... then maybe that chain just loves skeletons as much as we do lmao

Ah yeah that’s actually happened to me before too! :D in this instance I actually went back to check if the reblog was still there and it wasn’t deleted. But it was indeed still there so it seems the OP blocked me at some point XD unless it’s something else I’m unaware of.

I’m seeing it in Firefox, too! Even straight up Yahoo is ‘now part of Oath’ (has been for a bit bc of buyouts). It’s gotta be a transition thing bc it’s only popping up as of today for me too? Some literal 'who owns it on current paperwork’ weirdness, and I read that Oath’s got some wild backend requirements in general (and bad privacy rules).

I am excited to write so many things it’s not even funny. ಠﭛಠ

As of right now, I’m probably most looking forward to getting to the crack/silly character interactions in Cross Dimensional Problems, but everyone’s too busy being assholes in that fic for me to get to the fun times! (ㄒoㄒ) Seriously, I have so many dumb scenarios written out—that have been written out for months but no one’s cooperating! This wasn’t even supposed to be a serious fic but all the characters decided to relieve me of my writing reins. There’s also a lot of plot stuff I’m excited to get to with this fic, too, but well... same problem. (°ー°〃)

As far as writing I want to explore, that’d admittedly be subject matter in the darker fics I’ve started, like Into the Woods and Serendipity; Zemblanity. There’s also an Error x Reader fic I’ve had sitting on the back-burner that I have roughly outlined I’d like to get to work on, but I’m struggling to find the time and energy to really do much these days. (;￣ー￣川 I have found that writing for these darker themes is really rather cathartic, though, and it’s been helping me work through and release some of the stress and negativity that’s been building in my personal life.

I’ve also started dabbling in writing adult content and that’s also been a rather liberating experience. But also it’s just... really interesting to test the waters on subject matter I’m not used to writing about, or that I’ve told myself I dare not touch. It’s like a shiny new thing to explore! And that’s so exciting!
