Fey thrived off of the energy inside. The music, the fact that this was a celebration because Jieun was out of the hospital, the drinks, the laughter. As self-absorbed as she was, it felt really nice to be surrounded by happiness again, instead of the contagious doomed feeling everyone had been wearing around their necks since that night at Rhee’s. As happy as she was, though, and even though her brain knew the killers were either dead or locked up, it was still a terrifying thought that people died at every occasion the town gathered. An occasion like tonight. That was why she found herself smoking a blunt outside of the club, enjoying the peace and quiet. Grounding herself, because like hell would she ever let anybody see that she was rattled. At the sound of the emergency exit door she had just passed through being opened, her eyes lifted, about to cuss out whoever deigned to ruin her moment of peace, when the curses died on her lips and her gaze softened as she realized who it was. 

"Oh, hey,” Fey said, showing him a small smile before reaching out her hand in his direction, blunt in between her fingers. A small peace offering. In this moment when it’s just them and the cold night air, the muffled techno music from inside, it was hard for her to feel the fear that held her in a chokehold, the fear that got her to break up with him in the first place. Fey hadn’t wanted to give someone the power to hurt her, so she ran away instead, only to regret it immediately after, something she knew people wouldn’t understand because she didn’t fully understand it herself either. Maybe a part of her still acted like Grey was hers because she didn’t even want to think of the possibility of him no longer being that, and truthfully, she didn’t know which scared her more. Letting him go or letting him in. Tonight, though, Fey felt selfish and just wanted to enjoy this-- the comfort and familiarity of sharing a blunt with the only person she was sure she loved, still loved. Of just being with him again. With so much still unsaid between them. With him still wanting answers from her. With him probably hating her. Fuck, she thought as she felt that fear creeping back in. “Needed a bit of a time away from everybody too?”

Location: Mama’s Reopening Open Starter: Everyone @nightreststarters​

If there was something that could bring this town together after all that’s happened it was for sure the reopening of Mama’s. There was nothing compared to the homemade seasoned burgers and the delicious shakes that Dante could not wait to get his hands on. Not wanting to be too full for later that night, Dante chose to show up to the place around six in the evening. This gave him enough time to grub and rest before hitting the club soon thereafter. It also gave him enough time to catch most of his friends who he knew well would not be arriving any time before that. Walking into the building he quickly began looking for Arabella. Although they had agreed to meet here, she had wanted to come on her own for some reason. He couldn’t tell if that way her way of keeping him at arms length like so many times before, or what. Walking in the door, he glanced up and smiled at the familiar face ahead. 

“Get a plate yet?” He leaned in for a quick hug.

Violet wasn't an eavesdropper, but if people spoke loud enough over the music and she happened to hear it...was it really considered eavesdropping? For the most part she'd caught bits and tail ends of hook ups, breakups, and complaints about work. It helped piece together the town she had moved to and what her brother's life consisted of in the last decade. What she hadn't anticipated was the term murder and how often it came up in the last hour. Feeling uneasy she circled back to the bar with necessity. "A shot of something strong." she ordered with a breath.

Dom was grinning as he walked towards the brunette by the bar, having been dared that he could get her number in less than a minute. He was confident that he would be able to do it but what he hadn’t expected was that the brunette would actually be Analu. The smile on his face immediately dropped when he realized it was her and he knew he was going to have to go back to his friends to do something stupid for not being able to complete this dare. He had already tapped her shoulder and gotten her attention, though, so as to save some face, he rolled his eyes at her and got the bartender’s attention to order some shots. “Night is young and you scared off all your friends already?” Dom asked. “Because it’s a fucking rager out there--” He paused, gesturing towards the dance floor. “And not gonna lie, you’re out here looking real sad, Analu. Can’t even get anyone to dance with you?” He taunted her, a smirk on his lips.

Now that she was finally out of the hospital, it only made sense that her first order of buisness was getting her social media active again. Having her phone out throughout the entire event—pictures and videos being taken left and right. "What do you think of this picture?" Jieun asked, turning her phone to face Ruby—probably stopping them in their tracks. "I know that love makes you blind sometimes, but I need an honest answer. I'm on the fence about it and need an outside opinion."

Three fires happened at three different locations in town on the 12th of March. One was a residential home in Stoughton Estates, one was The Stowaway, a well known bed & breakfast, but the diner, Mama's, suffered the worst of it since it was completely burned down. The town banded together to host a Charity Gala, and though the event ended in a massacre, now well-known as the Gala Massacre, that claimed the lives of eight people and left two injured, it was still deemed a success because Mama's is now reopening, due to all the donations from that night. Out of the ashes, the town will rise again, and what better way to do that than with a celebration that'll bring the townspeople together once again. Planned by Arabella Reyes, in close collaboration with Minnie Walsh, the owner of Mama's, we welcome everyone to MAMA'S GRAND REOPENING.

This event will take place in TWO LOCATIONS: Mama's (found in Fog Gate) & Medusa (found in Low Point). There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at Mama's at 9 AM, and due to an excess of donations, everyone who comes will have a big plate, completely free of charge! The big plate consists of their well-known burgers, pancakes, bacon and eggs, as well as a milkshake with your flavor of choice. The new and improved Mama's will be much larger than it previously was, but with the expected turnout, even more tables and chairs have been set out outside. The diner will continue with its theme of looking like a diner straight out of the 50s, but another change that it will go through is that it will now be open 24 HOURS. This will be an all-day celebration so your muses can come at any point in time!

Medusa will continue to have their speakers blasting, and their drinks flowing later that night, as per usual, but it will also be considered as an informal welcome back party for Jieun Park, to celebrate her completion of her treatment in Grigg's General after the Gala Massacre. Everyone is invited to come over, to spend their Saturday night letting loose and to celebrate the fact that everyone's still alive.

Chloe stepped out for a moment to get some fresh air, less anxious when she realized a lot of people had the same idea. She settled against the wall letting the cool air relax her. If she admitted it to herself the night wasn't too bad and she probably needed this night out more than she'd say aloud. The sight of a familiar figure walking past made her smile, "Wow, I'm loving the outfit! I almost didn't recognize you!" she stated equal parts teasing and genuine.

"I have been trying to avoid you all night and let you play your little songs in peace, so why are you over here now?" K.P. crossed their arms as Greyson walked up to them. "I'm literally not bothering you at all. And before you say anything, you can blame Aslan for my presence here at all, because he's the one that told me to come." It wasn't quite the truth, but it certainly wasn't a lie.

It was probably best if Toby would get over these feelings for his ex-girlfriend -- he really should, since it’s been years -- but every time he saw her, it was like he was right back there, wanting to ask her to stay or wanting to tell her he’ll go with her, and knowing he could never do either. He could still remember how he felt their relationship was doomed the second the words ‘We should try long distance’ were uttered, but despite it all, still wanting to see her happy, and constantly making sure she was doing okay. “Hey,” Toby warmly said, showing her a small smile as he leaned against the bar, ordering another beer for himself, his last for the night since he didn’t want to go overboard. “Can I buy you a drink?”
