Qotd: What do you look for in horror novels??? Aotd: I look for a spooky storyline that has me hooked to the book till the end. Hello people, how are you??? Is your family ok??? I have to write a lot of notes and blogs and life is hectic and my family is doing well too. So on this lovely note, let's start with this review, shall we??? Title: Hold That Breath: 2 by Abhirup Dhar Pages: 79 Genre: Horror. Blurb: Daksh Sehgal, a corporate employee on a business tour meets Agastya Roy, a writer in a train coupe while traveling from North East to Kolkata one night. They strike up a conversation and Agastya begins telling Daksh six ghost stories… Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars. Review: This book was exceptionally well written. I liked the writing style and the way the story flowed was also quite smooth. The concept of the book was unique and that had me hooked till the end. The characters and their interactions kept the suspense alive till the end. The story flowed from two people sitting on a train to 4 different stories that Agastya tells to Daksh and then to the ending suspense that had me quite shocked. I loved the suspense in the end but I think the stories needed to be a little more spooky. To be honest, I was like this book will be another, "old wine in new bottle" concept but it turned out to be a different one and I liked it a lot. I would like to read more books by this author. Overall this book was a really fun concept that made me feel like the horror genre in India is evolving, the stories were all different and unique, the writing was clean and this book is worth reading. So that's it, hope you enjoyed it. See you soon. Stay Safe. #billybonkers #gilesandreae #nicksharatt #middlegradebooks #bookstagramfeaturesonly #booktour #bookreader #bookstagramreads #bookstagrammers #booksofinstagram #bookrecommendations #readersofinsta #ReadTheDamnTBR (at Ahmedabad, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/CO5lA3xLlje/?igshid=1dhmb3syq2chc
