Thanks for writing to me! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა I used to have a S6 store, but... unfortunately it got deleted for having Marvel art on it o(╥﹏╥)o My RedBubble is still up and functioning, but it doesn't have the stucky art you might be interested in. I had to take everything Marvel down because I was afraid I might lose the secondary shop, too. I'm truly sorry if this is somewhat disappointing D: It was a huge shock when the shop was reported and forcibly closed and I didn't quite know what to do/where to go with my fanarts that was safe (and high-quality for the potential buyers ♥)

etta: killer smile, even though it’s just the barest hint in one twitch of his lips. unfairly broad shoulders which she never should’ve fixated on in the first place bc now all her friends do is make “sit on his face” jokes. dark hair, kinda floppy. stubble, kinda in need of a shave but please god don’t. bright eyes — hazel, she’s pretty sure, but off the bat she is in no position to just... stare into them. also pretty sure that’s a star fleet tattoo on his hand. calls her a smartass like he’s one to talk, but it always makes her laugh.

jude: definitely a smartass. orange hair, sorta curly sorta frizzy, probably why she always wears it up and no, he is not thinking abt what it might look like if he messed it up and she took it down. big goddamn bush baby eyes. funny, but it’s usually by accident. really clear-cut tan lines that he is also trying not to think about. freckles. pretty laugh, even when she’s laughing at him, which seems like most of the time and he doesn’t even mind.

1. Going Up - One aspect of humanity it was taking time to get used to was how bloody slowly they had to move.

2. With The Touch Of A Button - Jack’s screams echoed in the tiled corridor until it seemed they would carry on forever–or however long until Chuck ended his last universe.

3. Roadside Assistance - It was an old arrangement, one they were all used to by now and one that should not have worked out the way it did, all things considered.

4. Eyes On You - “Would ye open the fuckin door, for Christ’s sake?”

5. Friction - She had been at the party for maybe fifteen minutes, and Gemma was already wondering how early was too early to leave.

6. Why Can't There Be A Santa? - “I already told you, doofus,” Dean said exasperatedly.

7. Finer Print - "Here it is, as promised."

8. Topeka Calling - Cas was reading the Sunday newspaper, a routine he began during his time as a human.

9. Howling - The court was nearly returned to normal…as normal as Hell can get, at least.

11. Original Prankster - I’ve always had a soft spot for Sam Winchester.

19. Robin and Marian - Word traveled fast among the inmates even before they brought him in, and the moment Daryl Dixon set foot in the yard every eye was on him.

20. A Dangerous Game - I had my favorite dress on, a glass of wine in my hand while my favorite album played on the stereo.

A.) Trying to figure out the chronology of these was a Chore.

B.) All the fandoms I write for are represented! :)

C.) As for patterns, a straightforward drop into the action seems to be the norm.

D.) As for favorite, I'm giving it to "Hell And Apathy." It sets the tone of the fic right off the bat.

Beth/Daryl - No ZA AU - Complete

It's going to be a long night for Beth Greene if she can't keep her mind, and her eyes, off her co-worker, Daryl Dixon. But when boundaries are crossed, she isn't the only one in the diner who's getting riled up.

He moves to pull away, but Beth's arms tighten around his waist and stop him.

Glancing down at her through the corner of his eye, he’s unable to meet her gaze as his face quickly drowns in panic. Panic and a whole host of other things Beth doesn’t think Daryl has any business feeling - knows he doesn’t, not on account of her at least.

And when she sees them - the shame, the fear, the confusion - Beth feels another urge propelling her towards him, and it would seem that being so close to Daryl has lowered her inhibitions somewhat because she doesn’t fight it, she goes with it instead.

Pushing up on her tiptoes, this time Beth doesn't miss. This time her lips close over his, wet and trembling as she lets her eyes flutter shut.

She's hauntingly aware of the fact that Daryl stops breathing as the rise and fall of his chest stills under her palms. She can feel his heart thundering beneath her fingertips as her own heart pounds behind her knuckles.  

For a moment neither of them breathes and Beth’s stomach rolls over as she begins to think she’s made a mistake she can’t come back from.

With her heartbeat racing in her ears, Beth starts to pull away only for Daryl's hand to come up, grab the back of her neck and stop her.

And then all she can feel is the heat of his mouth as he parts his lips beneath hers.

It had been one of those days, cool, with a wind blowing through, shaking the trees, and the sky was red from the sunset.

Chapter 22: The Paper Mill

Once Beth had visited the northern Rockies of Montana with her family, a place called the Paradise Valley.

I tend to start right in scene, or even in dialogue, but sometimes I will start with an off-topic memory or bit of exposition to create an oblique entry into a situation. Sometimes I start with weird, disconnected images or dialogue, too, like in the name of building tension toward some early reveal. In Magnolia I like to set up early, weird cliffhangers, sort of like the show The Walking Dead, because I just enjoy symbolism and abstraction. I don't really have a favorite!!

💕 what has your favorite scene been?: of the ones finished, i’d have to say it’s a jude pov wherein you meet most of his social circle, and then etta drops a food delivery at the auto shop (courtesy of a meddling but well-meaning third party). they start to chip away at learning about one another and figuring out that something needs to be done with these feelings.

there’s another one where etta’s car breaks down that’s a close second, but the aforementioned is much lighter in terms of mood so it was a breeze to get through. not to mention the secondhand butterflies, which was really lovely as i was writing bc it made me think i’d nailed the atmosphere between them.
