Cared more about getting the foreground seamless than the background, so please forgive the sloppiness there, but I am very pleased to have finally gotten this idea out of my brain. (Better quality video version up on my instagram.)
I watched Tenet not long ago and had to scribble something to get rid of the absolute brainrot those two star-crossed/time-crossed lovers gave me.
[ID: A three page comic of The Protagonist and Neil from the movie Tenet.
Page 1. The first panel depicts Neil wide eyes. Under is a speech bubble in red saying: “I grieved you for a long time”. The second panel shows a gun with smoke still coming out of the barel. In the third panel, we can see the Protagonist’s face, his eyes are hidden. On his left cheek is an impact of a bullet similar to one against a glass window. A speech bubble in red says: “It’s okay we’ll meet again Neil”
Page 2. A speech bubble in grey says: “ I loved you for a long time”, a second one in dark grey under it says: “ And then I loved you more all the time we were apart”. Then there is a half sketched depiction of the scene where the Protagonist pushes Neil on the wall. He’s grabbing him by the collar. We can’t see the Protagonist’s face as a black speech bubble quoting the movie covers it. It reads: “How do you know that?”. Finally there is a speech bubble in grey saying: “I love you still”
Page 3. In the first panel, Neil has his back turned with his right hand raised as if he is waving. He is wearing a bag on his right shoulder. A yellow disk-like trinket tied with a red string is strapped to it. Under it a bubble reads: “I’ll continue to love you when we’ll be apart again”. The second panel focuses on his trinket moving. A bubble says: “I think you’ll grieve me for a long time too”. At its right the last panel shows Neil half facing us, mouth open and smiling. A blue bullet impact covers his forehead and eye. A red speech bubble reads “But it’s okay, we’ll meet again”. End ID]
