#hairlove Yes it does grow! Mine is on the slow side of life but I have maintained my length for the past four years, first year I recovered from heat damage that caused most of my hair to fall of. Through out this four years I breastfeed twins, carried a pregnancy and I am still breastfeeding and still maintaining length. Towards the end of last year I suffered a #proteinoverload but with all the shedding I still noticed I have retained some length.Who ever thought I could rock my hair in a very comfortable bun without blow-drying it. Definitely not me. This was a first and a win. ............ Love your hair, it is your crown. ............ Get over the notion that African hair is hard to maintain, it is not once you get to learn how to do it. ............ Taking care of natural hair is not expensive.Even on a budget you can start your health hair journey. ............ This is the second time I'll be using aloe vera gel to detangle, the first time I used it directly from the plant and Finger detangled but this time around I wanted to properly with a tool. ___ One thing to note is that you shouldn't blend too much else the gel will loose it's slime which will make it terrible for detangling. ___ Will you be trying this soon?
