One-Shot: Nate to Axel

A sudden flash zipped through the open doorway to Moore’s Guitars and crashed into an entire wall full of said instruments. Morty found himself upside-down for a brief, struggling moment as he kicked his feet and grunted, vigorously wiggling around until he was finally able to plop over and roll himself into a seated position. “Who put these things here?! Could’a killed myself,” he grumbled, punching one of the already broken instruments away from him as he struggled to get up from the pile. 

An array of distorted musical notes seemed to follow as Morty jostled himself to feet. 

Now, the short, plump man zeroed in on the ridiculously tall individual. “What the hell--” Morty pushed his glasses inward, as if to see better, as he did a comical once-over of the tall bean-string in front of him from foot to head. The man completely dwarfed him! “What are you, a giant?” he snapped, then shooed Axel back a few steps. “Get on back, I don’t wanna be towered over, I’m try’na work here, damn you,” the man continued to grumble.

He patted his gray hairy chest in several areas, as if trying to remember what he was there to do. “Ah--” he remembered, then digging into the oversized diaper he wore. Seconds later, he somehow managed to withdraw a very finely made and specially designed heart-shaped guitar from its depths and proceeded to drop it. Twice. “Damn it,” Morty squatted, grabbing it off the floor and shoved it at the giant, “hold that, will you? Now..” He looked at the card. “Nate sends his regards and love, yada-yada, you get the picture.” 

Morty started to walk on, but stopped. “Oh, yeah--” The old man suddenly dug into the butt area of his diaper and produced several buttonless shirt. “Here, he got you these too. Mazel tov.” The shirts were flung carelessly into Axel’s face and with that, Sir Cupid disappeared.  @hollowmuses @moodboards-and-muses​

34. Who is the superior BFF: A, N, F, or M?

I am obsessed with best friend M. Especially Morgan with my Nate-romancing detective. They stand up for the detective (let them pick which training to pursue, don’t understimate their ability to protect themselves) and for someone who is so head-in-the-clouds with Nate, Morgan brings her back down to earth and grounds her.

35. Stay loyal to the Agency or betray the Agency?

I do not totally trust the agency and for that reason, I would stay loyal to them. Plus, we’ve seen what happens if something bad happened ...

39. Get a detailed flashback of A meeting N, A and N meeting M, or A, N, and M meeting F?

All of them! I really want to know what A and N meeting were like. N maybe not totally on board but still polite with A. Did N try to shake A’s hand? (actually I looked this up and I think that wasn’t a custom then for people who weren’t close). But I want to know how their personalities clashed or complimented.

I want to know what it was about M that N sad themselves in. What was M like? Stoic, empty, angry? How long after their memories were wiped?

I want to know how F’s very different personality mixed with A and M’s and did N instantly take to them? And did N and F speak in a mix of English and Echolian? How different was F compared to ex UB?

I am very into villain!detective AU! @narrativefoiltrope has a moodboard for something like this with a morally gray detective x UB Adam and I am obsessed with it!

Moodboard Manila x Interiors and Lifestyle: Cat Arambulo-Antonio

Lifestyle and Fashion Noble, Cat Arambulo-Antonio jubilantly talked about the border intricacies of style, personality and function in designing a space wether it’s for personal or for a client during Moodboard Manila X Lifestyle & Interiors Event last week set at La Creperie, Burgos Circle BGC.

Media, Bloggers, Influencers, Style and Creatively apt individuals joined the said event as everyone is excited for new learnings towards creating an effectively sylish and utile space.

What I like most about this event is how interactive it was. Moodboard team provided a short test sheet that would decide what style personality one acquires. Since I already know my own personal taste in all aspects, the quiz resulted to be, and forever will be, Minimalist.

We were lucky enough to see Cat's, personal space, from their condominium unit to ther stylishly ornate abode, that she designed for her family. I tell you, those spaces are definitely #GOALS.

2017 Trend

As for this year’s trend Rose Gold, Green and Marble are set to make waves in the design landscape. It’s all about playing with your color wheel in setting all the complimentaries together while dabbling with the texture. With this said, it will create more drama and character that would add to the whole aesthetic’s individuality.

After the event, I was able to catch Cat to share ideas with each other.  I just cannot believe I finally met someone almost similar as me from taste in color palette (black, white, gray), details (minimalist and chic), how fickle our mind is, we’re both into fashion (styling) and even to the slightest fact that we do not have a green thumb - that we both ended up killing plants that doesn’t even need much maintenance. I was so ecstatic all throughout our talk. How awesome is that?!

It’s official, I love Cat Arambulo-Antonio. She carries this aura of a person that you want to be around with. She’s bubbly, a good listener and speaker at the same time and she’s immensely nice. She is definitely my life peg. Thank you for the time Cat! See you around! <3

It was such a short event I wished it could have spanned out longer. It was really earnest and everyone surely learned - a lot, from it. Thank you Moodboard Manila for always keeping me in mind during these kind of events. You guys are awesome!
