Story:

Ethan “Searcher” Griffin was born in Oklahoma to a middle-class family. He had an easy life until his parents died during the Omnic Crisis when he was 16, thanks to a few Bastions which he grew hatred towards.

He idolized Overwatch, M.E.K.A, the Crusaders, and apparently Blackwatch and was heartbroken about Overwatch disbanding and the Petras Act. With the idolization, he trained in firearms and weapons to help protect those who can’t protect themselves, humans and omnics alike. He also found himself taking a fascination towards Orisa.

During his training, he traveled around most of the world where he stumbled upon Lúcio’s music and Symmetra’s light-bending architecture in which he fell in love with the technology. When he met her, he begged her to teach him how to do it.

Although annoyed by his beliefs in freedom, she temporarily took Ethan under her wing and taught him how to harness hard-light tech. He dislikes using her dance techniques and improvised, thus impressing her. When she eventually had to leave, she nicknamed Ethan, “Searcher”, thanks to his determination to search for what he thinks is right.

When he became 23, he worked on an AI system named Artemis, and tried to make her part of the hard light tech that Symmetra taught him to make. One day, he got attacked by rogue Omnics from Null Sector and fought back. With that, Artemis made the decision to be put in the hard-light tech and make her able to join the fight. After the temporary battle, Ethan accidentally got Winston’s Overwatch recall and journeyed to wherever he got the message from.

During the journey in which, he temporarily encountered Ashe and got scarred by B.O.B, encountered Orisa, and also fought Bastion but was shocked to see that the omnic warrior didn’t fight back. With that, after the attack in Paris and Overwatch’s official return, he met Winston and joined Overwatch.

After that, he met most of the team including Ana and Solider 76, in which he also met Mercy and was immediately smitten with her.

Hanzo: “I swore never to wield a blade after my brother’s death.”

Ethan: “Not even a kitchen knife to cook?”

ngl the only lore i consider worth checking is d.va's LMAO its just. so so good and interesting plus i adore mechs so it was like made for me. tho i'm going to explore more of symmetra and lifeweaver's lore so i'll let you know about it! as for the skins i have equipped for ashe... i only use her default one ansdnfng but i have so many d.va skins i use i feel it makes up for it. what are your favorite skins? also i WISH i could play mercy but my support skills are terrible terrible

my favorite skins ?!?!? oh my... ok to make it easy ill keep it to just dva and mercy..

for dva i LUV the nano cola skin, cruiser + the cat skins (black and white cat), edm (legendary battle pass) and sleighing. i haveee cruiser + black cat :) the rest i missed bc i only recently got good internet (i suffered the first 7 years we dont talk ab it)

and for mercy i like the pink bcrf skin ofc as well as atlantic all stars, royal gladiator, combat medic ziegler, and dr ziegler, her witch/mage skins, camouflage (archives) and the sugar plum fairy skin! very tragic that out of all of these i only have the witch skin. but to make up for it i have the eidgenossin skin from the summer games! from the lootbox days haha

also!! i like to think im pretty good w mercy! like im definitely not yknow masters level (speaking of i kinda avoid comp) but i feel like i at least Understand a lot of the techs used in masters. actually putting them to use and having an equally competent team is the tricky part (cant heal when im dead ykyk)
