Untitled 2yeon AU

The one where Nayeon parts ways with Twice weeks after their debut and moves away, leaving behind her members with a lot of questions and a heartbroken Jeongyeon.

Nayeon's eyes scanned the different types of snacks, trying to remember the ones her sister likes, she glanced to the toddler on her left every few seconds, keeping an eye on him while he examined all the cereals he could see with his small stature.

"Nayeon?" a voice called, one she hadn't heard in years, but she was able to recognize immediately.

"Jihyo." She answered before turning and coming face to face with her.

"How long have you been back in Korea?" was the first thing she asked.

"I um... we just arrived... a couple of days ago." Nayeon said, oddly nervous. Are other members here? "How... How have you been?"

"Good, I've been good." Jihyo looked deep into Nayeon's eyes and didn't waste any time to ask what's been bothering all these years. "What happened, unnie? You just disappeared, no explanation, nothing, it's been what, four years? And not a word from you." Her eyes and voice turned soft. "I missed you. We all miss you."

"I missed you guys too." Nayeon didn't really know what else to say. "It's, uh, actually been around three years.

"Are you back? for good?"

"I'm not sure yet, there's some stuff I-" Nayeon was interrupted by little footsteps.

"Mama, mama!" A little boy came running and held onto Nayeon's leg, struggling to show her a big cereal box.

Nayeon was frozen for a second before shifting her attention to him "Is this the one you want? Good job, baby!" She ruffled his hair causing him to giggle and picked him up so he was eye level with both adults. "Hey, I'd like you to meet someone, this is Jihyo. And Jihyo, this is my son."

Jihyo looked at Nayeon and back at the boy, the older girl could see the shock on Jihyo's face as she processed the new information, however she snapped out of it quickly and spoke to the kid with excitement.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you! What's your name?"

The boy hid his face in Nayeon's neck, still holding the cereal box tightly.

"J.. hyu..." came some muffled sounds.

"Jaehyun! That's your name, isn't it?" Nayeon encouraged him but he simply gave a small nod.

"That's such a cool name!"

"Thanks. " He peeked with one eye and finally looked at Jihyo, who took the chance to ask another question.

"How old are you, Jaehyun?"

The boy said nothing and looked at Nayeon.

"Can you tell her how old you are?"

"-'m woo. " his voice still came out muffled.

"Show her with your fingers. " Nayeon used one of her hands to take the box out of his.

Jaehyun understood and lifted up three small fingers.

"You're still two, buddy, put one finger down." Nayeon gave Jihyo a quick glance and said in a lower voice. "We're still working on that."

He did as he was told and proudly exclaimed "Am two!"

"Woah! two? that's awesome!"

Quick footsteps where soon heard approaching them, and both girls looked in the direction of the sounds.

"Yah! We're about to leave, what's taking you-" Jeongyeon stopped in her tracks, dropping the pack of candies in her hand.

She opened and closed her mouth like a fish before managing to get out a weak "N-nayeon".

"Jeongyeon." was all Nayeon said in return, she didn't trust herself to speak without her voice cracking or tears falling.

"Hi." the toddler spoke and Jeongyeon was instantly very aware of his presence.

"Hello." she said back to him.

An uncomfortable silence enveloped them and Jihyo spoke after a few seconds to break it "Jeongyeon! This is Jaehyun, isn't that a cool name?" she said trying to ease the sudden tension.

Jeongyeon blinked a couple of times, switching her focus between the three pair of eyes staring at her, one nostalgic, one worried and one curious.

"Y-yeah, that's... great."

"I should get going, we got a long list of items to go through" Nayeon threw the cereal box on her cart and placed her son on the kids seat. "Sorry for taking so much of your time." she excused herself and left to another aisle before any of them could even say a proper goodbye.

As she walked away she could feel a thousand emotions going through her, but she was in public, with her son, and she wasn't lying when she said she had a lot of stuff to buy, there was no time to have a breakdown, she could do that later.

"Nayeon! Wait!"

She hesitantly stopped and waited for the younger girl to reach her.

"Yes?"

Jihyo gently touched her arm, making her turn around.

"Can I have your number? I'd like to see you again, catch up, and I know the girls would too, specially Jeongyeon."

Nayeon bit her lip, she knew this was probably a bad idea.

"Sure." She accepted the phone Jihyo handed over, and saved her recently acquired number under 'Nayeonie <3', she couldn't help herself, her former leader always gave her a sense of familiarity, having basically grown up together, along with Jeongyeon. "There you go."

Jihyo took the phone back and typed something, a second later, Nayeon felt her own phone vibrate in her pocket.

"Seriously?" she asked.

"I have to make sure, sorry." She shrugged and offered a small smile.

"No, it's fine, I get it." she laughed and took her phone out, saving Jihyo's number and showing her the screen. "There, saved yours too."

"I'll be calling you, okay?"

"And I'll be waiting, Ji"

"I'll leave you both to your shopping now, take care yeah?" Nayeon saw her doubt for a second before the younger hugged her.

"You too." She hugged the girl back, emotions almost drowning her. "It was nice seeing you, by the way."

Jihyo let go and looked at the toddler sitting on the cart, sucking on his thumb.

"Bye, have fun!" she waved at him.

"Bye-bye!" he waved back with a big smile showing off small yet noticeable bunny teeth.

Jihyo walked away and Nayeon was left again only with her son.

Yup, this had definitely been a bad idea. She was hoping to cross paths with her ex members, but this was too soon. Would they even want to ser her again? What if they hated her?

And Jeongyeon... jesus christ, seeing her after all those years... something inside Nayeon told her to run, escape again, change her number and make sure no one's able to reach her or even know of her whereabouts.

But she has to face them someday, face her ex members, face her baby's father, and face her, face Jeongyeon.

TP Adoption AU: Graduation Day

It was the last day of school before spring vacation officially started and the Im household looked as if a hurricane had come through, shoes and clothes were scattered throughout the rooms, shouting could be heard from any place, kids were running around half-dressed and one Im Nayeon was seriously thinking about just missing out on the day if it meant not having to continue fighting against the mini terrorists that were her children about getting them in semi-formal clothes.

The most infuriating thing was that Sana and Momo were still in underwear and they were the ones, along with Nayeon, that needed to be at school in less than an hour because it was THEIR graduation so, of course, they couldn't miss it. But try to explain that to the six-year-olds that think it’s hilarious watching their sisters running around half-naked, she was at the end of her sanity, her salvation came in the form of one Bae Joohyun announcing her arrival.

“HAELMONI IRENE!!” was yelled throughout the house before all the kids came barreling into Joohyun’s legs, she just chuckled patting all of the heads before getting her legs free, of course, this elicited a grunt as a complaint from the Im kids. “Sorry guys but I need my legs to go and hug Nayeon… or she’ll get more grumpy and whiny” she faked whispered the last part to get a community giggle.

She proceeded towards Nayeon with Sooyoung and Seungwan behind her and Yerim on her hip, all hugged her before the kids went towards the rest to talk about everything and nothing. “So are you going to tell me why the long face or you’ll just keep sulking?” Irene arched an eyebrow while prodding Nay for answers, with a long sigh came the response “I’m stressed you know? The girls don’t want to get dressed and we have to go or else we’ll be late, at least they let me put some underwear on them and do their hair”.

“Let me handle this kid, I’ll get them to cooperate in no time” whispered before clearing her throat, “Nayeon! You better grab your robes and put on shoes, I’m not taking anyone who’s not dressed and ready. And we have to leave as soon as possible” exaggerating was a mild way to put it but that seemed to do the trick, soon all the kids went for their dresses and came back demanding to get dressed first.

“Hewp me!!” “No! Hewp ME!” “NO, ME!” “ME! ME!” “SHE’S GONNA HELP ME!” “She have to help me, It my graduation” “Mine too, but I’m older so she’s helping me”, between all the yelling and pushing everyone was ready in less than 20 minutes, leaving them some good 30 minutes before Nayeon’s ceremony began, enough time to arrive and get everyone situated.

“Okay girls, listen to me, please. Now everyone behaves for haelmoni, listen to what she’s saying and don’t wander off” explained the graduate, “But where’s Jeongie? We want to go with her '' whined Hyo, the little leader of the Im kids, “I don’t know where she is or if she’s arriving, so listen to your haelmoni. Arraseo?” reiterated the bunny with authority leaving no room for discussion. “Arraseo?” asked once again, “Neeeeee'' was the response coming from all their little mouths.

“Thanks once again for watching the kids, I swear without your help I’d gone crazy” whined out Nay holding onto Seulrene’s hands, “It’s a pleasure Nayeon-ssi, we wouldn’t miss your high school graduation for anything in the world” comforted Seulgi rubbing her hands up and down Nay’s arms, “And we would not be good mothers if we attended only one of our kids' graduations, so now calm down and go to your place so your sisters, your children and us can cheer loudly for you,” said Joohyun with a kiss onto Nayeon’s forehead before patting her butt and shoving her towards the alumni seats.

“Eommaaaaaaa, you’re embarrassing me” whined one last time the graduate, before smiling and seating beside her bestie Kim Jisoo. She was glad that Irene and Seulgi had sorta adopted her when her parents passed away, they were barely older than her but still took care of her, with final thought she finally relaxed onto her seat because all her family was there, only her dear girlfriend was missing but Nayeon wasn’t letting that boom her out.

One by one the graduates were called onto the stage to receive their diploma and congratulation by the school committee, as her time to go came closer and closer the anxiety within Nayeon increased making her palms sweaty and her stomach do somersaults. But all that dissipated when she heard the cheer that came after her name being called, while climbing the stage she turned her head towards the bleachers and in there she found a huge surprise, not only had Jeongyeon arrived on time to see her but she also had a huge sign that displayed “IM NAYEON 1ST PLACE IN SCHOOL AND IN OUR HEARTS”, on top of that she had convinced the ten kids and two adults to cheer as loud as possible.

With a huge smile showing her bunny teeth Nayeon received her diploma and made her way to the microphone as she had to do her speech for being her class Valedictorian… Jisoo could've been it as well but sometimes video games came in the way so she ended up being the Salutatorian and she was cool with that.

Finally that put an end to the insatiable fight between the 95ers and their whole who's better deal, of course it wasn't that serious but it helped them do their best.

With this in mind, Nayeon started reciting her speech "Mrs. Sun, Mr. Ryu - Principals, teachers, honored guests, and fellow graduates, good morning.

I am truly honored to be here before you presenting the commencement speech…"

"Binnie is being babysat by his Twice gomos, he's supposed to be having a playdate with Tzuyu and Chaeyoung since they are all the same age, but suddenly his tummy starts growling and he has always been told to let an adult know when his tummy does that. "

notes ─ This is for the Hungry prompt. When I read hungry my mind started playing Changbin saying 'I'm hungry. Baegoppa' like I couldn't think of anything else. Please enjoy this piece, it's the first time I write for a male character where he isn't just an NPC 😅

Binnie was sitting in his car seat in Daddy's car, he had told him that he was supposed to stay at Twice gomos and noonas' house to have a playdate with Chaeyoung and Tzuyu since they are all the same age.

All the other boys that he encounters at the park always tell him that he shouldn't like having playdates with girls, since he is a boy and should only like doing rough things and getting dirty. 

Binnie does like those kinds of things like making mud pies, fake wrestling, using nerf guns, but he also likes playing with dolls, dressing up as different things, and the occasional tea party, the Twice house is the perfect place to do all those things so he's excited about going there on this day.

As soon as Daddy parked his car Binnie unbuckled himself and got out running to the door in order to ring the bell but was stopped by Chan, “Hey mate, aren’t you forgetting something?” he said holding Changbin’s backpack and wiggling it a bit, Binnie ran back to grab it and put it on before taking Daddy’s hand and going back to the door.

When the door was opened Binnie was quick to greet the woman on the other side, “Annyeong noona. Can Binnie enter please”, “Annyeong, sure you can" replied Mina indifferently stepping aside to let both boys enter while she put on some shoes on, “Jyo I’ll wait outside” yelled Mina before closing the door behind her.

A few seconds later Jihyo came running past them throwing a quick Annyeong, Mama is in the kitchen before slipping shoes on and going the same way as Mina, chuckling at his fellow 97' liners Chan guided Binnie inside the kitchen to find Nayeon.

“Noona annyeong! We came for the playdate, Bin is super excited… Mina let us come inside(added as an afterthought)” said Chan with so much excitement, “Just in time, the girls have been asking for hours on end when he would arrive” mentioned Nay before turning to Changbin, “Binnie how about you go and join the girls, they are in their room waiting for you” said Nay pointing him in the right direction.

Binnie gave his Daddy a hug before running to where Nayeon had pointed, “Are you sure that it’s okay if he stays here for a couple hours? I don’t want to impose on your kindness" said Chan scratching the back of his neck. "I had already told you that it's more than okay. Binnie is a pleasure to have around, so stop worrying and go, he'll be safe here" comforted Nayeon, escorting him to the door and waving goodbye.

On the other side of the house were the 3 99' liners happily deciding what they should play, "We should play charades" proposed Chaeng but was refuted by Tzu, "No, you always win, 's not fair" pouted the younger girl. "Maybe we can play thieves an' we all wanna rob the same thing, so we has nerf guns an' if you get shot you have to lay on the floor for a little bit" proposed Binnie.

ChaeTzu liked the idea so they went to fetch their Nerfs, “Hey Binnie, you gots your own Nerf or need one?” asked Chaeng while Tzuyu grabbed an extra Nerf for the boy, “I need one p’ease… Oh thank you” said Bin thanking Tzu for lending him a Nerf. 

That’s how they started playing, they decided that the item to get was an Elmo doll and to make the game fair would ask someone else to hide it. Dahyun that was chilling on Sana’s room was the chosen one to hide the Elmo doll, joining the fun for a little bit by shooting the kids randomly so it would be harder.

The next game was proposed by Tzuyu, she loved playing restaurant and always being the chef, Chaeng and Binnie were okay with that arrangement taking turns being the waiter and client… or sometimes both were the clients and Tzuyu was running a little food stand where she was both the one cooking and tending to clients.

“I'm hungry!! Baegopa!!” yelled Binnie at the waiter, “You are always hungry! So wait until the food’s ready” yelled back the exasperated waiter going to the chef, “Chef Tzu, food almost ready? Ahjussi making a scene out there, the otha’ clients will go” exclaimed Chaeng rubbing her temple.

Tzuyu was quick to prepare the fake plate of food for Bin, Chaeng took it and ran back to his ‘table’ (it was really a cardboard box) to serve him the plate, there were some plastic fruits with a bit of slime, and a crayon inserted in the middle as a garnish. Seeing the plate Binnie started tearing up, he was really hungry and of course, he didn’t expect real food but he was little so his emotions got the best of him.

The girls got worried at their little friend’s tears, Binnie wasn’t ashamed to cry but now he was crying for the pretend food, that’s something that never happened before, sure they pretend that they are mad clients but never cry about it. 

“You okay Binnie?” asked Tzu getting closer to the boy and patting his head in hopes of consoling him, “Nooo, I’m r-really hung-gry. Nae tummy is m-mad and wan’s foo-ood, Daddy says should t-tell adult but I’m sca-scared” cried out between sobs the poor little boy.

Chaeng being the oldest of the bunch took it upon herself to resolve this problem, “Let’s go, Binnie, will find Mama or Mommy to get you food” said extending her hand for the boy to take, “But gomo will be mad for asking fo’ food” whined Binnie but it fell to deaf ears and they proceeded to find an adult.

The three kids venture into the dinning room to find an adult, and there was Momo at the table eating some chips when she noticed the kids, “Hey guys, what brings you out here with the rest of us?” asked Momo with chips in her mouth, at that sight Binnie’s tummy started growling and he whined at the sensation. 

“Binnie hungry, you seen Mama or Mommy? We needs food fo’ him” said Tzu stealing a chip from Momo’s plate and offering it to Bin, and getting another one for her, “Mommy is in the kitchen making lunch, so how about you sit here with me Bin while we wait for it?” said Momo patting the seat beside her for the boy to take. “And where’s Mama?” asked Chaeng since she knew that Nayeon was there before, “Probably being lovey dovey with Mommy” said Momo with a shrug and wave of her hand.

So the 3 girls and Changbin were sitting there eating chips to mitigate the hunger, that’s how Jeongyeon finds them and decides to tease them a bit, “Hey you little rascals, why are you eating the chips?” said Jeong pretending to be upset at the kids, action that made Binnie start crying again.

“Sorry gomo!! “Didn’t mean to eat chips, p’ease don’ be mad” cried out Bin looking so upset, “Oh Bin she was just joking, we are not mad at you for eating chips. Of course, it would be preferable that you eat healthier food, but it's okay,” said Nay comforting the crying boy. “Really? “You promise you are not mad?” asked Bin with hopeful eyes, We promise said NaJeong calming the boy, “It’s just that nae tummy was really mad an’ needed food.”

“Did you eat breakfast Binnie?” asked Jeong concerned since the boy hadn’t been long in the house, “No… Papa asked but I say no, cause was not hungry. An’ Daddy not like when we eat in da’ car” explained the boy playing with his fingers at the anxiousness, with a big sigh and clearly upset Nayeon sent all the kids to wash their hands and call SaiDa up to come to eat lunch.

Meanwhile, Jeongyeon put food on plates for all the kids and placed them on the table, Bin was afraid that his gomos were upset with him for everything that happened, but they comforted him and told him that all was okay. They gave the 3 kids snacks to munch on while playing and also juice pouches since they remembered that Changbin usually carries snacks in his backpack since his appetite is so active, but turns out that Chan had forgotten to pack that day’s snacks.

The kids spent the rest of their playdate happily playing, and when Chan came to pick him up they berated him for being careless with the poor boy, telling him that he should have made sure that Changbin had eaten breakfast and had snacks on hand since he could get quite shy when he was in their house.

I think dom Nayeon was "subbing" to mommy Jeongyeon but she was still definitely dom in a way :P I do wanna dive a little more into the 2yeon relationship because 2yeon is best ship, but that'll probably wait for a later chapter. Prolly gonna dig into Nayeon/Momo next.
