Is Asta capable of infusing Death Touch into object or heck, living things? You explained it as him expelling the mana and life out of people due to having no mana reserves, if he can infuse it into plants for example, can’t he basically create a strong mana region that would suck the mana and life out of anything that came in contact?

Also, what is the longest time someone can last against him if he goes all out and his opponent has godly magic reserves?

I was gonna answer this first but explained it in an earlier ask. Asta technically can't infuse it into plants due to high speed oxidisation or any living things. The topic of mana zone is a bit iffy because I'm trying to figure out if having Asta get a literal death radius may be overkill.

Remember, we're trying to be sensible with this shit and Asta is already touch starved enough in this au.

As for who lasted the longest, we're going with "who has the most mana in all of his fights" which, unfortunately, Lucifero takes the throne, mostly because his mana is described as never ending. However, even then, Lucifero had previous encounters via Dante and Morris as guinea pigs to see this shit go down, so he'd know to avoid physically hurting Asta while he's focused, which gives us Guilty Gear Levels Of Playing Murder Chicken.

Other than Lucifero, the 2nd and 3rd would be Nahaam and Liliths fusion by pure chance of having twice the mana/devil life force and teleportation techniques at around one and a half minutes and with Dante's horrid ass at around one minute by replacing old and crusty flesh with newer flesh. Both strategies lasted only so long.

Did anyone else notice that the qlipoth devils we got so far all have attributes based around elements of physics? (not counting megicula, since she wasn't a qlipoth devil, she only took astaroth's place because they needed 3 pillars for the ritual)

Nahaam and Lilith have fire and ice, but when fused together you essentially end up with a singular devil capable of wide range of temperature fluctuations - thus representing the principles of thermodynamics.

We know that Damnatio got Baal's atmosphere magic, which is self explanatory.

Lucifugus' dark magic can be tied in to the concept of darkness as an absense of light/energy, or as black hole, dense mass absorbing all light and anything else within its distance.

And then we got the 3 pillars with gravity, space and time respectively.

I really hope the pattern continues because it would be amazing symbolism if all qlipoth devils had powers that are related to how the universe works, and there's potential for other fun attributes, such as magnetic force, sound etc.

It also all vaguely ties in to my made up attribute categorisation because the canonical '4 elements' aren't even close in covering the attributes we have. might make a post about it later
