Hello there! Welcome dear!

I am new enough to tumblr I had to go look up the meaning of moots as I’m not great at internet slang. 🙈 anyways, I’d be happy to. I don’t know if you mean for a specific fandom or in general? To be safe I’ll give a few of both.

Reposted from @vivienleighcircle Vivien Leigh in a costume portrait for 'Waterloo Bridge' by Laszlo Willinger. Vivien's first role after 'Gone With The Wind' was a loan out to MGM playing a ballet dancer who believes her lover lost in World War 1, and losing her faith in humanity, becomes a streetwalker. It was a sophisticated tearjerker, given topicality by the start of WW11, infact over the years many thought the film had been set during WW11 so brilliantly did it capture the prevailing mood of the times. The film, photographed by Lazlo Willinger, has some of the choicest close-ups of Vivien ever shot. Following the bold technicolor tones that had described Scarlett in Gone With The Wind, the black and white photography of Waterloo Bridge gave Vivien’s characterisation of Myra the haunting unreality of a dream. It was the perfect follow up film; it proved that her sensational Hollywood debut had been no fluke - Vivien was able to work a very different sort of magic in her portrayal of the tragic Myra; a role so opposite to Scarlett and yet still triumph. Bosley Crowther in the New York Times wrote "Let there be no doubt about it. Vivien Leigh is as fine an actress as we have on the screen today. Maybe even the finest." The Italian film poster will appear in our stories today, and be saved in our highlights, for future reference.
