She's vaguely reminded of it now, of the sight of blood spattered on her friend's skin. Inhaling deeply, it takes her only a second to work up the courage to speak. "Okay, Cloud. I gotcha."

Making her way over to him, the tiny girl slips an arm around his waist and attempts to get him to lean against her shoulder. She was sturdy enough that she could help carry the guy, at least. "Let's go sit down, and we'll clean you up, 'kay?" Her voice is soft and understanding, keeping even so as not to betray too much of her worry.

... God though, on the topic of "Writing Fanfics of Morgott making his boss fights less enjoyable," booooooooooy howdy...

... So, I've been sort of recording the boss fights(or at least HIS boss fights), and going about it with HUD disabled - mainly because there's so many things that I want to make gifs of. He's absolutely fascinating to watch, for more than one reason.

... So I got to my second run of the game. Brand new game. Start from scratch.

There's something really... REALLY devastating in fighting him with the HUD disabled. You've no idea where your health is at, or HIS health is at. The only real clue is when does he throw up.

... That... Final blow really... REALLY stung.

Fighting the bosses with the HUD disabled is challenging enough as it is because you have no idea of where you're at, or where the boss is at. But there's something particularly emotional when it's against HIM...

Seeing him just vomit because we are pushing him so hard hurts. He’s fighting with every scrap of his being to protect that tree.

Fighting without the HUD would give me soooo much anxiety, I would probably waste all my flasks 😬
