ok seriously now omori being actively aggressive towards some members of the group, especially basil since yknow, he killed sunny, would be a punch in the gut. you're looking at a remnant of sunny after mourning the boys death, who takes the form of a twelve year old, and the boy fucking hates you

alternatively seeing omori for the first time would be a shock for sure, whether he attacked or not.

hero probably wouldnt even believe it was real. he would think its a hallucination, something coming to taunt him for what he did, what he didnt do. sunny was the only thing he had left of mari, and now hes gone. and then it speaks, and he shuts it out, because he cannot bear the words it wants to say.

aubrey explodes in anger, at this desecration of her friend's loss, this body looking so much like him yet empty and dead (just like him, rotting in the ground), limbs stiff and yet fluid, carrying the steak knife (the one he stabbed her with, on the first of those days. she cant believe she misses that of all things.) even as she swings her bat, aiming right for the bastards head, it doesn't flinch- only disappearing into the fog.

kel cries. he's spent so long being positive, pretending everything is fine, and then his best friend is murdered. when this figure appears, its like his guilt explodes tenfold. he should've noticed that basil wasnt okay around sunny, he should've noticed basil wasnt okay at all. he should've done something, why did sunny go alone? he clings to the figure like a lifeline, the last remaining thing of his best friend besides his grave. it says nothing, it does nothing but stare as kel sobs into the spirits black tanktop, and kel doesn't know if thats better or worse.

basil, oh god this guy goes straight delusional. my thoughts are more scrambled here (just like this guys sanity) but a few scenarios i can think of are either him believing its sunny in grief induced denial which makes him have a total breakdown or catatonia. or, thinking its the Something that killed mari and made him kill sunny taking a new form which makes him attack it as well (with the monochrome and black eyes you get it). OR, thinking of its presence as a sign from sunny as forgiveness, making him try and kill himself to see sunny again.
