The pain made it hard to register anything. Raphael had a hard time getting his eyes open, but he managed to do so anyway. “Cassandra...?” Raphael whispered, not trusting his eyes to show what was really in front of him. Was he really seeing the woman he had grown to care for, or was it just a vision before he slipped into eternal sleep? I need you to tell where the wound is. He heard that part. The wound was just under his ribcage. The hitman lifted a shaky hand, slowly brushing off his coat to reveal the source of the blood. He had been stabbed, and his assailant dug it in deep. Raphael was sure that he was going to bleed to death. “Fucking ambush...” He mumbled painfully.

Raphael stared at the boy through the rear view mirror. He remembered when he was at that age, already thrusted into the life he lead now. He felt sorry for the boy, but knew that he and his mother would protect him with all they had. The lodge Raphael owned was deep in the mountains, away from the usual tourist spots. As the snow piled around them, Raphael kept his eyes on the road. “I’ve got three guest bedrooms, you can take your pick when we get there.” The assassin informed. They arrived there after an hour and a half. 

“Make yourselves at home. I need to go and get something.” Raphael excused himself and went down to the basement. It was an armory more like, filled with different kinds of firearms. The man returned. “The outside has a gate, it can only be opened with a key card. Here.” He held a small blue disk in his hands before handing it to her.  // @txnnesseehoney
