================================================================================================ Overview: Manufactured specifically for Star Captain/Colonel Melissa Hazen at the direct order of ilClan Ward, the HGN-732bM "Melissa" was designed to be as much a prototype of the HGN-732Ib "ilClan Highlander" as it was a command 'Mech for the newly resurrected Royal Black Watch. Stuffed to the gills with advanced systems for defense, mobility, and communication, as well as a impressive arsenal nearly equal to that of the original HGN-732b, the one-off prototype 'Mech has already come be known as the "Old Bird's Nest", an affectionate nickname referring to Star Captain/Colonel Hazen's advanced chronological age, and how much time she spends in the Mechbay, personally tinkering with and adjusting the 'Mech to her liking, sometimes even with the help of her personal Mech technicians.

Capabilities: Starting out life as the prototype of the HGN-732Ib, the "Old Bird's Nest" would soon see an almost continuous amount of tinkering and changing by technicians from both the ilClan and the reborn SLDF. Eventually, when Star Captain Hazen was frocked to the rank of SLDF Colonel to (eventually) lead the reborn Royal Black Watch, the 'Mech received a massive overhaul to become perhaps the most well-equipped Command Mech in the Inner Sphere. The upgrades started with a massively expanded and improved communications and sensor array with satellite uplink capacity. To this, the first unit of the experimental Neutron Star CEWS (based on Nova CEWS designs smuggled from the Clan Homeworlds) was linked, along with the DeadEye Superlock 18K Clan-spec Targeting Computer from the exact Hunchback IIC that Hazen used in her Trial of Position in the 3020s - this computer was not upgraded to modern specs by order of Hazen herself, save to add the advanced Variable Range Targeting program in trials for the HGN-732Ib. The weapons loadout is largely a replication of the old HGN-732b Highlander, though upgraded with modern technology. Mounting a Light Gauss Rifle in place of the standard Gauss of the HGN-732 was a decision by Hazen to gain more range at the expense of sheer damage output. The LRM-20 and SRM-6 remain, though upgraded with Artemis-V FCS. In a curious move that shows Hazen's admitted loveof the past, only one of the ER Large Lasers is a modern-manufactured Clan design - the others being one of the ER Large Lasers mounted on General Aleksandr Kerensky's Atlas II, and another the sole remaining weapon recovered from the irradiated wreck of Colonel Hanni Schmidt's Black Watch Highlander. A highly experimental RISC Advanced Point Defense System provides protection for the 'Mech and its starmates. The use of a Combat Computer helps the 'Mech's 20 Clan double heat sinks keep cool. Using a prototype Clan-spec Endo-Steel chassis, the "Old Bird's Nest" is covered in 17.5 tons of Valiant Lamellor standard armor, incorporating panels taken from the wreck of General Kerensky's personal Orion. A trio of Clan-spec Pratt & Whitney Jump Jets enable the 'Mech to execute Hazen's trademark extremely accurate "Highlander Burial", and prototype RISC Super Cooled Myomer technology helps the 'Mech keep cool even during movement, while Clantech CASE II protects the Mech from ammunition detonations.

Deployment: As the personal 'Mech of Star Captain Hazen, and soon to be the Command 'Mech for the Royal Black Watch, the "Old Bird's Nest" resides solely at the rebuilt Fort Cameron, just outside Unity City, Washington, Cascadian Administrative District, American Administrative Zone.

Notable MechWarriors: Melissa "Mysty"/"The Old Bird" Hazen: One of the oldest and oddest MechWarriors in human history, Melissa Hazen was decanted, along with her 15 sibmates in 2990. As a Trueborn product of the Clan Coyote/Genecaste "Totem Warrior" program, she was part of an effort to create human-animal hybrid warriors - both to improve upon Clan phenotypes, and to embody the spirits of the totem animals of their respective Clans. After a successful career in an enormously popular holodrama, and after attaining three kills in her highly belated Trial of Position, Hazen, along with the others in the "Totem Sixteen" were sent on a scouting mission to the Inner Sphere. Joining up with the now-famous mercenary outfit, Fursona's Fusiliers, Hazen served with the unit for decades from the year 3025 onwards. Briefly taking extended leave to assist her Clan during Operation REVIVAL, Hazen returned to the Fusiliers to fight against the Word of Blake Jihad, and then as a mercenary for the Republic of the Sphere. During and after the ilClan Trial, Hazen and the others of the Sixteen fought on the side of Republic, but were spared by order of the new ilKhan. Biologically only in her late twenties thanks to the efforts of Project Totem Warrior, as well as later medical aid by the Terran Belters (on whose work the original project was based), Hazen has over over one hundred and fifty years of combat experience against virtually every foe in the Inner Sphere and Clan Homeworlds. This experience will soon be brought to the core of the revived Star League Defense Force, under which Hazen is slated to run the new incarnation of the Gunslinger program, as well as command the resurrected Royal Black Watch Regiment.

Piano was the first instrument I really played. I didn’t have any lessons, and though I tinkered with it since I was five, I didn’t really get interested until I was ten or 11. My dad used to play a lot of blues records, Ray Charles, and Stevie Wonder.

Ray Charles was the one that stuck out; I used to work on my left hand to “What’d I Say” in sort of this boogie-woogie style. I spent ages working that out, practicing the left hand doing one thing and trying to do chords with the right hand.

I went into a talent contest and played a solo version of that piece and actually won the contest. My older brother forced me into this talent contest and, though I was too nervous to do it, I did it anyway. It made me want to get out there and get some gigs and get in a band. When I first got into a band when I was about 13 or 14, I didn’t play piano for about six years because I just got so into the guitar.

I am selective of those I will interact with, if I don’t follow you back please do not take it personally, I may follow you down the road or I just am unsure how to interact. I’m used to only interacting with a few select people I trust so I’m working on opening up more. I have a tendency to write a lot, given the fact I let my mind run a bit. However I do check with my partners to make sure that my writing is okay for them and within their comfort, so that’s usually why I throw a message out asking if ‘was it okay’ or such as.

I don’t mind anyone correcting me on lore points that I get wrong and maybe Goku might be shipped, I’m not sure. it’s a possibility but not something I’m leaning into. He will be a slow burn or a plotted ship at best, I don’t feel comfortable immediately throwing him loving someone due to my own personal experiences and just how his character feels. That and also he has Chi-Chi.

I also have a bit of ADHD and can be prone to drop threads suddenly due to lack of interest or being unable to pick up an idea or find something to go off of. I will not tolerate bullying nor do I want to be dragged into any drama that doesn’t concern me, I come here to relax, not to worry myself. That being said I’m still here to talk to if needed. Triggers will be placed in the TW in General tag as things can get pretty dark.

This blog is going to be rated Mature because dark themes, TW or even more could take place. I’m not gonna shy away from blood and neither is Goku, if he has to do so to protect his friends, given that the franchise has it’s tendency to be downright dark to the core. However this is going to be mostly nice things around this place, isnt gonna be all doom and gloom. However please remember that this is an anime about fighting, it will get brutal.

Now let's dive to the Canon divergence.

Goku didn't exactly change until he had Gohan. While he wanted to train him he also understood that Chi-Chi wanted their son to be successful in a world he would never truly understand. He also began trying to understand more of a world that he never truly participated in but also defended fiercely. He wanted to grow in strength for that was his goal, his very blood called for battle and he could never truly abandon it. Gohan was a bridge, Saiyan and Human. Yet his power was tremendous at a young age and he wanted to teach him how to harness it. Namek only made that more, especially when he came back with the heart disease. Cell was an incredibly strong opponent and his son had power that could overshadow it. However, he made a promise and he swore to keep it. He would fight until his last breathe but the sight of his father about to die threw Gohan into the fight, doing his best to fight alongside him. Even still, Goku ended up sacrificing himself. He wanted to go home but thought it better to stay away. If he did maybe nobody would keep trying to attack earth?

Buu changed that outlook. He changed everything and ignited a fury set deep in his bones. Goku was overjoyed to be given life so he could rush down and save his family. It was too late. While Goku himself is prideful, he does bonk heads with Vegetta more or less about that pride. It has many times caused issues and he won't let him live that down. Not that he hasn't acknowledged his own mistakes. Goku tries to be active in his sons lives but does argue with Chi-Chi about how he will do the farm. He just also needs to keep training, he needs to keep getting stronger so he can protect them all.

Super is a mess all around so I will try my best here. Beerus comes and Goku argues big time with Chi-Chi about getting stronger, they all could have died had Beerus really decided to. He's not sure what changed the destroyers mind but now there are gods out there who will hurt his family if he doesn't find a way to climb the ranks. Yes he does take off to train with Whis, apologized to chi-chi later on. He continues rigorous training and starts opening his mind to being less careless. Goku Black introduces more intensity to his way of thinking but a brighter burning drive to protect his loved ones. Frieza nearly killing Gohan? Goku will never forgive Frieza and their fights are always aim to kill at that point. He disgusts him.

He never hires Hit to kill him. He starts the tournament of power hoping it'll save his universe, all that stuff. God's super is just a maze.

GT was awesome with it's ideas and transformation. Too bad that's not Canon. But I do have it where Goku found it and is slowly abandoning the super transformations in favor of SSJ4. It's design is just too cool to pass up along with all the abilities.

Alastor, more commonly known as “John Doe”. Which was his “Radio Alias” when he would broadcast in life.

This Sinner is a failed wannabe Radio Host. Could only ever broadcast on his own pirate radio stations, and had a very small fan base in life.

A "crime of passion/heat of the moment" killer. He was caught and sent to jail, where he was killed in retaliation.

He likes weird meats and likes to cook. Personality will fluctuate from spacey to focused, like a weak signal that can’t keep it’s strength.

Is ¼ the power level of the usual (canon) Alastor, and not a deal maker/overlord. Is still capable of small feats of magic, such as dropping a red “smoke bomb” from nothing that allows for quick escapes and costume changes. 

Spends his time doing odd jobs, broadcasting on his own signal, and dumpster diving. He now owns a mobile home, but also spends plenty of time living on the streets/taking naps in odd public places.

Knows a Husk and Nifty but they don’t work for him, they just check on the guy every so often.

His staff acts both as a laugh track/audience track button as well as one of those animal head gripper things. The mouth can snap open and closed. And no, he won’t talk about how it works. Or how he found it beyond that it was early on in his time in Hell.

He makes constant jokes about how “his staff” can help him do things, and means the item. Not people.

When the Staff is lit up in the eye sockets, he is broadcasting. When they are off, he is not.

Does Zora have any memorable experience with customers?

Zora has had a few customers who stuck in her mind, either because she disliked them intensely or because she found them interesting. While some of the bad customers are certainly worse than others (some being physically abusive in addition to the more mundane verbal abuse and, of course, leering), most of the jerks all just blend together in her mind after a while.

Clients who are polite or friendly are far more likely to make an impression on her; she especially likes clients with a sense of humor, since some people can feel a little awkward with the nature of her business.

Zora also doesn’t see too many female clients, so when she does she remembers them. Although her work isn’t exclusively sexual in nature, she is more likely to attract male clients because of her reputation.

One female customer who often comes to her mind was an old woman who needed relief for her joint pain. In some ways, she reminded Zora of her Nana, who raised her. She had a brief period of mourning when the woman suddenly stopped showing up for appointments.

Eva’s IV clinic

Within Nacrene Museum, Eva runs a clinic that helps check the IVs of Pokémon and even help trainers check if their traded Pokémon is healthy, It helps mask her serial killing profession.

A lot of the people she has as clients are trainers that had Pokémon traded to them and that had caught legendaries.

She also holds seminars for trainers to encourage them accept their Pokémon even if their IVs aren’t good.

She even found out about the 3+ 31 IVs from studying legendary Pokémon in Kalos, Galar and Alola and randomized IVs aswell.

Despite her reputation as ruthless and unpredictable, Eva is well-respected with the people who visit the clinic because she doesn’t treat legendaries or mythical Pokémon any different than regular Pokémon.

The Story of the “Shadow Thief”

In the beginning it had only been whispers in the criminal underworld. Whispers of a new freelancer, a thief, who could get anything for anyone. No one thought much of it, there were always new players trying to make names for themselves. Still some were curious enough to hire them, just a few cheap trinkets taken from people who’d never miss them. Yet it only grew from there, no job was too big or too small for them. They had become a local legend and a household name almost overnight.

For all the success and the fame though, no one had ever seen them. They had never been spotted on their jobs and never met their clients. They worked entirely through dead drops and only ever took payment after the item had been left in exchange. Some at the beginning had tried to find out there identity or, even more foolishly, try to cheat them. It never ended well for them; either they were robbed blind, arrested by an “anonymous” tip, or humiliated in their field. Word got around and the message was clear “don’t try and find me and don’t try to cheat me.”

As the legend grew so to did the myths about the newly dubbed “Shadow Thief”. Some claimed they were the spirit of a fallen thief, doomed to steal for all eternity. Others claimed they were actually an organization of a dozen members all using the same name. As the “Shadow Thief’s” exploits grew more daring and wild so did the myths. It became so bad that the Thief needed to send a message. To clarify exactly who they are and what they do.

Words were written on paper and they spread far and wide. They became known as the “Commandments and code of Shadow.” The rules and code of the one and only Shadow Thief.

You won’t find me. I’ll find you, if you make it clear you want to hire me.

I work only through dead drops, never in person.

I take payment at the same time I give up the prize.

There is no job too small or too big.

I swear allegiance to no nation, race, religion, or people.

I will not break my creed.

Break these rules and I will make you pay.

The creed was less a list of rules and more a paragraph or limerick. Depending on who you heard if from. It went as follows.

“I will not betray the client or leave the job undone. I don’t kill for money, I’m not an assassin. I will never be tied down. I’m a professional, hiding amongst you. This is my creed and it my law, until the day I step into the light.”

This is the story of the Shadow Thief so far, and it’s only just beginning.
