I've known/written with his blog for years. YEARS guys and she has never stopped being a true delight. Her Wanda is amazing and I'm always chuffed to bits whenever I see a reply from her on my activity. {i am the caretaker of souls} Okay, but one of the muses I’ve lost inspiration for is Natasha, so you see my problem, heh. I don’t know what happened, she just went so quiet a while back. It’s not anything you did at all, so please don’t think that. Sometimes it just happens that muses leave the building, heh. For anyone who would like to know which muses would be on the chopping block across my blogs, I’ll talk a bit about it below the cut. Because I can. =P

But yeah, as far as Natasha, I’ve been trying to squeeze out some muse here and there and respond to what I can get her motivated for, but a lot of times I reach down into the muse well and it’s just dry. I do kindof look at all my asks each week, though, to see if anything grabs the muse, and if it does, I work on it, because I do feel bad that you’ve sent in so many things that I just haven’t been able to reply to. So I’ll keep trying here and there, and who knows, maybe she’ll come back fully at some point.

Veridian on this blog has gone quiet for a long time now, and I’m sure if I look at my list, there are others who have zero activity that I can cut just to mentally downsize things. It’d be easy to cut Ardeth, Luther, and Vincent, because my activity there is fairly low, but I adore all of the threads I have with @illbringthechaosmagic and a few others, and I’m pretty sure I’m the only person actively writing those three characters on T.umb.lr so I’d like to keep doing so. Kindof a labor of love, you know? So at least right now, they’re not going anywhere.

As far as MCU muses, I think I have the same problem with Natasha, Wanda, Clint, Vision, and Pietro right now… lack of new content. I really get inspired by new content, it helps to revive things for me a bit, so when there isn’t any in years, I feel like my muses get stale. I know I could read comics if I wanted to, but honestly I just don’t have the time right now, or the brain to then sort out the differences between MCU and comic versions and choose what my interpretation will then be.

Pietro was really waning there for a while, but he got saved by the “Speedster of the Galaxy” AU because that to me was like new content, heh. It was just content that me and Mantis-mun and others were creating and contributing to instead of official content, which is fine, it’s great! That’s what we’re here for! Plus I love his ship with @starcchild, and that overlaps with my Tony muse here, which is still going strong. So Pietro is safe for now. XD

Wanda… my muse comes and goes for her but lately it just hasn’t been there. I adored DSMoM, but 99% of people I write with didn’t, and I think the negative backlash from the fandom regarding that movie kindof… tempered my muse a bit. Because I felt like I had to hold back or not talk about it or write about it, when I really wanted to. I was excited and inspired to go in all these new directions with Wanda, only to then still be writing during the same points in her timeline that I had been for a few years already. So that’s what’s been preventing my muse for her from really taking off. Anything that I can really get into or that feels new in an exciting way, I’ll jump on it, but lately I’ve been struggling with her. I do love the threads I have with @illbringthechaosmagic and @multiversalstarlight on Wanda’s blog, though, so that’s helped sustain her for a while.

Clint here on this blog… only has one thread right now, and that’s just fine with me, heh. If not for that one thread, he’d be cut. I still haven’t watched the Hawkeye series, mainly because I lost interest, so that gives you an idea of how long my muse for him has been waning. But the one thread I have with @sadiebrin is very cool and I can manage to squeeze out one thread a week with Clint for that. XD

I would love to bring back Red and White Vision, since they’ve been on hiatus for a few months now due to a lack of muse. I feel like it’s been enough of a break and I could maybe get back into them, but… no time, unfortunately. I’d need to cut some other muses that are taking up a lot of time in order to make time for Vision, and I just don’t see that happening. Maybe if I put Wanda on hiatus for a bit, but Pietro’s activity is really high and they’re all on the same day, so… who knows.

I have been toying with the idea of having an MCU multimuse and putting ALL my MCU muses on there, so that if I didn’t have muse for someone on that day, then I could skip them in favor of working on someone I did, but at this point, they’re so established on their own blogs and here on this one that I just feel like… it’d scatter and mess up where all my shit it stored, heh. I have issues with organization and how I think of things as far as what feels neat and calm and organized to me, heh, and that would drive me crazy to have things split everywhere. But on the other hand, it would really help to lump all my MCU people together on one blog.

Question: If I made another side blog mumu for just MCU people, put them all there, and wrote for them on hmm… probably Mondays, and then removed the MCU muses from this blog and wrote all non-MCU people here… what do you think of that? Would you guys like that, hate that, you don’t care…? I’m not asking you to make the decision for me, I’m just curious. I’m a little worried that a new blog might attract more attention and interaction, though, and I really can’t expand my writing partners too much right now, I’ve got enough on my plate. I guess I could just say something like “closed for new partners” or something, I dunno. Thoughts?

Imma stop rambling now omg. Actually ranting about all this helped release some stress and distract me for a while, so that was good, haha. Anyone who’s read this far, thank you, you’re the best. XD

I'm so happy we have become good friends in addition to being writing partners, and whether its screaming about our muses in messages, writing threads, or having fun with asks, I've truly enjoyed every moment. You're not only an awesome writer, you're a sweet and wonderful person too. My rp experience just wouldn't be the same without you and your muses. Here's to another year of writing and gabbing together! <3

@starcchild/@disillusionedjudge - You are a very gifted writer, and I have always been so incredibly impressed with the level of thought and detail you pour into your OCs. You make them seem so alive, and whatever canon they're meant to fit into, they always do so seamlessly, to the point of me forgetting they're not really part of the canon. Carter is absolutely canon for me for the MCU! Each of your OCs is so engaging and three-dimensional that from writer to writer, I'm very impressed with what you've been able to do with them! I've enjoyed writing many of my muses with many of yours, and I've definitely enjoyed our OOC conversations too. I'm happy to call you my friend, and I hope we can continue writing together for a long time to come. =)

@tarnishedxjudgement - I'm so glad to have found a kindred spirit who loves FFXII as much as I do! It has been wonderful screaming about all things FFXII with you, and I will forever be impressed with your deep understanding of Noah/Gabranth. You write him in a way I can only aspire to, and it has been so much fun writing my other FFXII muses with your Noah. You capture his motivations, his personality, his emotions, his mannerisms, everything perfectly. And developing our more realistic, more detailed Dark!Ivalice AU together has been so rewarding, breathing new life into a game I already loved so dearly. =)

Mantis-mun - Okay, so I know you're the only Mantis-mun I write with, but even if you weren't, I'd still say you were the best. From the little I've seen of Mantis, you write her so well, not just her dialogue and personality, but the whole feelings she gives as a character. You make her seem like she truly is one of a kind, or the last of her kind, with such a unique perspective on life, the universe, and those around her. It's been so interesting and fun to write some of my muses with your Mantis, and I feel privileged that you take the time to do so, even if you don't always have a ton of love for this hellsite! XD

Thor-mun - I admire your ability to come up with so many different AUs, worlds, times, and scenarios for your muses! Thank you for all the interesting interactions on this blog and others, and for putting up with how badly I keep up with all your ideas sometimes. Even if I'm ridiculously slow to answer them all, I read every single one, and your creativity is always inspiring. You've caused me on several occasions to really think outside the box with my muses and stretch my own skills a bit as a writer, and for that I'm truly grateful. It's always wonderful to not only find great writers to write with on here, but to also grow as a writer myself because of the interactions I have, so thank you for helping me to do that! =)

I do wonder who Pietro would save though lol. I love angst so I'm really curious who he would pick between Wanda and Carter, despite being willing to die for both. And since he won't answer... THE MUN HAS THE ANSWER. GIVE US ANGST WE NEED TO KNOW.

HAHAHA, OKAY, OKAY! Honestly, it would depend on the situation, what the threat was, and whether he was with both of them at the time or not. If he’s with one of them, either one it doesn’t matter who, but the other he’d have to go find, he’d save whoever he’s with currently and then go look for the other. If it’s like.. something it burning down or collapsing and there isn’t much time and he can only grab one of them, I think he’d grab Carter.

It has nothing to do with who he loves more or who heh wants to live more or any of that, but more to do with who could maybe make it out on their own. Wanda can fly in limited capacity, and she can blast through most things, shield herself, etc. So unless tis is ikau Carter or a version of Carter that has a decent enough suit and weapons to take care of herself, then he’d save her first. If, however, Carter is all suited up and Wanda maybe is freaking out or injured or not as able to take care of herself, then he’d save Wanda first.

There is always also the option of telling them both to go and throwing himself at whatever the threat is so they can both make it out, and maybe he just takes one for the team. But again, it depends on what the threat is and how well he might be able to defeat or defend against it.

Whoever he decides to save first and why, if ANYTHING happens to the second one, Pietro would be devastated. Not only would he lose someone he loves, but he’d feel like it was his fault, and he’d feel guilty for what he’d feel was essentially abandoning them.

My Opinion on; @illbringthechaosmagic

Character in general: Really good take on Wanda Maximoff. Definitely part of my three favorite Scarlett Witch blogs on here. I love the way this Wanda is really sweet (all of them are sweet honestly) and a bit more willing to go along with Chris's sillier antics. There's a very motherly charm to Wanda too, very caring while also being capable of a lot of great violence.

How they play them: Amazing. Really good balance of all of their ships. I think they have a really nice understanding of having multiple verses cause I learn so much about their take on Wanda from every thread.

The Mun: Really chill, although I do need to talk to them more. They're so patient cause lord knows I owe them a few asks lmao. But I need to talk to them more.

I don't get to write a lot with Wanda, but I would really love to explore her and Nats relationship, because I always saw them as sisterly, but at least pretty good friends and I think your Wanda especially is incredibly sweet and interesting. She struggles with her mind, but is also a soft bean who needs to be protected. Or at least who Nat wants to protect... because she adopts and loves people just like that. I love following your adventures with the mess of a wizard Strange and all the sweet moments between her and Loki. It's clear you adore Wanda and that makes it so special to write with you.

Pizza's been inactive for a little while, but they were one of the first people I've met on tumblr and they were extremly sweet from the very start, open for small hijinks interactions and long winded adventures. A lot of my fluffier headcanons I got for Natasha come from inspiration I got through hour threads. The mun clearly understands and represents the heart of the Matt Fraction run Hawkeye all while putting their own spin on the character and I think that is very special. Go follow them, give them some love, they certainly deserve it.

We gave tried to write a few times but so far it sadly hasn't work out and that's completly fine. The mun and muses are incredibly talented and amazing writers. I've nabbed a few scentences here and there (but as a second language speaker, you take what you can get). I love reading all about Clint and Bucky and Matt. Their stories are unapologetically tragic and the angst is so fun to read a long. If you consider everything that's happened to them... Those boys are broken beyond repair and the mun represents that side of the characters incredibly well, paints them as intricately human and it's just a lovely journey to follow.
