okay, so finally stopped putting this off. here is the official request for “the” friend group !!! 

layne is hoarding all the friend groups so some of the wine-ing and shit-talking ladies can over lap in this group, if you so please. so…this group of friends have been friends for a while. some have been around since school, some a little later. depends on how long everyone has been in minnesota. jack moved in middle school and probably went to state school so he’s been around for most of the time. anyway, the group is in their late 20’s to early 30’s and they are all at various stages of their lives. 

some are married and about to pop a child out into the world (jack and ellie) and some are still single and ready to mingle (or not). i don’t think i’m going to put a cap on the amount of members but l o l so we can have it our way but let’s not get crazay. but yeah, they all hang out together and probably go to wineries, trivia or bingo, and drink a lot and get rowdy (except ellie…because she can’t. jack says sorry babe!) these crazy beauties have all been through thick and thin together and have seen each other through a lot. yeah, they have a lot of fun but i expect pain and drama too because lol friends having dated in the past and shit is my bread and butter. but also, we need guys too ok??? jack doesn’t want to be the only dude in a sea of ladies.

this is a request for eleanor (margot) and cecelia’s (alicia) half-siblings!!!! 

long story short: robert mulligan was a serial cheater, hobert if u will. he travelled a LOT for work which meant that he was very rarely home. he left cecelia’s mom for ellie’s mum; they remarried and moved to america and thought everything was pretty and picture perfect... which it was until six months ago. 

robert died suddenly of a heart attack and, after his death, all of his kids came out of the woodwork. five of them, to be exact!!! turned out robert had been conducting a nice number of affairs over the years and managed to (somehow) keep all of them separate... until they all showed up for his funeral, obviously. 

now all of the kids are in town together and... trying to get to know one another? but it’s awkward??? af??? robert was a relatively decent dad who was probs absent a lot of the time but when he was there he was great. he was just a total trashbag and none of the kids knew until... now lmao. cue existential crises. 

honestly everything is up in the air for them! it’d be cute if a couple were maybe actual siblings?? but if not, that’s chill too. ages are open and could overlap tbh some could be older, some the same age??? drew—as most people call him, that or just andrew—came out to the twin cities with his bff and life partner daria branson. they both came from well-to-do families in georgia and have spent just about most of their lives together. inseparable, they come as a package deal. #sorrynotsorry

he’s always been hella artistic but the majority of his time in high school was spent playing varsity lacrosse. he was pretty good, actually, and probably could have played division i if he really set his mind to it. however, he knew that he wanted to go to art school.

so….when daria decided—and drew of course went along with it—to road trip *cough*move*cough* to st. paul, minnesota, he found himself way out of his comfort zone. he had great supportive parents who basically said to go with daria and keep her safe. she spent half her life lying on the coach in the henleys’ tv room. also l o l, his mom has been basically planning their wedding for 10 years. the woman might be psychic.

but yeah they got to minnesota and after a gap year, drew went to school for graphic design with a minor in illustration. he now works for a creative ad agency in the city and has a really successful instagram account. he makes a decent living and gets to spend time and work doing what he loves to do, which is making things.

drew is pretty chill and loves chill indie edm, drawing, and spending time with friends, mostly from across the hall and a few other people. but his #1 ride or die hoe is daria. he and daria are inseparable and she’s the only person he has allowed to give him tattoos, not that he has a million but he has a few but only because daria conned him into it, okay?

hoWEVER, they are both under the impression that it’s platonic. well, that’s what they are telling themselves. no one else believes them though. so i think he’s had girlfriends but lbr most don’t last because they don’t like the package deal scenario. but yeah, love him ok?
