Where [Name] is known as "That one human who just won't die for some reason", and is known as a threat for killing the killers.

Of course she kills them for self-defense, but Killers don't view humans that way and consider her a threat.

So Masky is tasked with retrieving her and bringing her to the Operator/Slenderman.

Toby x Reader x Eyeless Jack:

Toby, Reader, and Eyeless Jack are trapped in a killing game along with 17 other killers, making 20 if them.

Toby is the Operator/Slenderman's favorite and head Proxy, Eyeless Jack is in Toby's group and is one of the best medics, and [Name] is a poor human caught in the fiasco

Hoodie/Brian Thomas x Reader:

This is more of a slice of life, but it's very dark. [Name] is a human who was "adopted" by what I like to call, the Clockwork squad.

The Clockwork squad is: Clockwork (Leader), Jane (second in command), Nina (poster-girl), Nurse Ann (Medic), X-virus (Scout).

However their relationship isn't really healthy, and it resembles that of a toxic nuclear family.

So this is in the timeline in Marble Hornets where Brian "dies". But instead of being revived for the Operator/Slenderman, he ends up in the Zalgo realm.

AND SOME SHIP DYNAMICS:

Masky is a living breathing mess, but [Name] is such an even bigger mess, that it makes him actually ground to earth.

Hoodie is your player hot boy, but then he meets [Name], a shy rich kid with a bunch of family trauma.

Toby is a fucking disgusting rat who makes everyone's life a living hell, but he meets [Name], his ultimate match, that's somehow always catching up and ruining his schemes.

EJ is a gremlin demon with a superiority complex, and [Name] is the one who claps him back down from his pedestal.

Jeff is your local murderous goth, and [Name] is the personification of Barbie, which is actually Jeff's type, nuclear family trauma go brrr.

MORAL OREL FANTASY AU STARTS NOW

Summary: "We'll travel the land, righting wrongs, helping people, and spreading the gospel of our lord and savior!" said Orel cheerfully with Doughey nodding in agreement next to him.

"Yeah," Joe said, rolling his eyes, "cause nothing says 'adventure' than a bunch of dummies going around and telling bigger dummies they should go to church."

"Glad you agree!" --- Before Orel's life went terribly awry, he was known throughout the town of Moralton as Orel the Pure of House Puppington, a godly paladin, righter of wrongs, occassional accidental causer of wrongs, and Good Boy. This is the tale of how he became a local hero, formed an adventuring party, found love, made lifelong friends, sought truth and had the misfortune to find it, and how it all went Horribly Wrong.

[Content warning for prologue: Blood, injury, very heavily implied offscreen violence/abuse, just... referencing "Nature" at all, and generally being a lot heavier than the fic will overtly be 75% of the time]

So the next chapter of “The Trials of Paladin Orel of House Puppington” (aka the Moral Orel fantasy AU) will be delayed at least a day or so. Ended up being busier this weekend than I thought. The rough is fully done but it needs some revisions to tighten up the beginning. Sorry it’s taking as long as it is since it’ll be the first proper chapter (considering the prologue is kinda a flash forward to when Shit Rolls Downhill) but I didn’t want it to be a rush job or anything either.

Me: Okay now I have like the rough draft of one chapter, two storylines plotted out including expanded character development for minor characters from the show, and (I am not making this up) at least one music choice that I might somehow tie in in universe WHAT THE GODDAMN HELL HAPPENED

(Edit: This is all of course what I plan to do but I've been a fic author for long enough that plans don't mean s***, only my actions do, so it is still possible as some point all of this dissolves into the ether)

Slight change of plans, I didn't feel confident in the hook of the first chapter of the Moral Orel fantasy au on its own merits, so I decided to write an opening prologue to (I must stress again) this lighthearted fantasy AU that starts like this:
