It's been a while since I posted on here, life gets to you sometimes!

Here are some more reimagines for The Apple Family, all keeping to their original design spare for a few tweaks and add ons. Read more for more info on the Verse!

The Apple Family in this Verse, much like in the show, is a big earth pony family spanning many generations throughout the moons. They are traditional, and strictly stick to routine, as evident by their daily chores and the Zap Apple Harvest. They love each other dearly and would do anything to keep themselves safe and sound.

After watching Brotherhoof Social, and Do Princesses Dream of Sheep?, I find it obvious that Orchard Blossom is something more than a one time joke. It seemed all too planned out to be an attempt to get to spend time with Applebloom, or a mean joke to poke fun at men/boys who want to dress and act femininely. In my AU (still searching for the right name for the verse), Orchard Blossom is a transwoman, rocking multiple southern-belle hairstyles and accessories with the help of Rarity. She does not have to deal with bigot ponies for her gender expression, as being trans is a perfectly accepted and normal thing in Equestria, as is other identities. Made her cutiemark reflect her name better with the big apple and blossoms on the front.

Applebloom is a young school filly with her whole life ahead of her. She started a band of the CMC, but the group, with helping hooves, found she did not need to spend every waking moment with her friends. In this, she did things she wanted to do; potion brewing and building structures were some of the few hobbies she enjoyed. The group still did their weekly cutiemark crusade, but explored what they needed to find their own cutiemarks rather than random activities that they had never done before. In time, Applebloom was the first to get her cutiemark, fitted with the family's trademark apple, and a bloom, befitting her name.

Granny Smith, the mare who founded Ponyville, could write a book with the stories she tells her grandchildren. It may need a few ghostwriters to keep it on track, however. 

After her son and daughter-in-law's untimely death, Granny Smith took their young foals into open arms and single-hoofedly ran the farm while raising the three trouble-makers. It had been difficult, those first few years, but as Orchard Blossom and Applejack matured, the burden grew less, and Granny Smith could take those long naps her body needed. She keeps a frame picture of Bright Macintosh and Pear Butter on her nightstand, and above the family's hearth, making sure to keep their memory alive and well. Misery did not need to taint their home, even if nightmares plagued her sleep, and Applejack had to wake her from a cold sweat.

Time may heal wounds, but they could not heal scars.

Why are ponies the only one with cutie marks

Why couldn’t they take some stuff from the pony friends from g1

They weren’t ponies and they had some form of mark

But now in g4 the only creature that has some sort of mark that isn’t a pony is a zebra and they’re still quite similar

Even hippogriffs/seaponies and breezies don’t have them and they’re some of the closest non pony kinds that aren’t purely equine, and breezies even had cutie marks in g3! And sure g1 seaponies didn’t have a mark (and looked quite different) but if the mane 6 can still have theirs in their seapony form why can’t true seaponies/hippogriffs? And this point also goes for the breezies!

#rainbow says stuff #so my mlpverse may have a slight rewrite #not every non-pony creature will have some form of mark (such as griffons) but ponies and zebras will not be the only ones #they will not just be called cutie marks though; that will just be a pony thing #sorry for talking about my little pony it will happen again

- Moon Mantra does magic through chants and spoken spells mostly

- also i made him a psychologist instead of a priest since religion isn’t rlly a thing in the mlpverse, he’s very philosophical and psychoanalyzes a lot

- DIO’s original plan was to have someone rule by his side (cause yknow, you gotta have a right hand man), and that pony happened to be Mantra. Unfortunately since he was a pegasus they had to come up with some other way to make him into an alicorn instead of vampirification

- so then after DIO’s defeat, Mantra’s main goal is to become an alicorn first, then find a way to bring him back

merc 2/9 forced into the mlpverse by me! heres pyro the uh... dragon ????

this was both the easiest and hardest design for me to make. pyro already has the burny the pyrosaur set of cosmetics for halloween which i referenced alongside the fallen angel cosmetic for this design, so a lot of details were kinda already done for me in that regard. HOWEVER, translating the gas mask into an actual face ended up being way harder than it needed to be, because trying to make a pyro design without the gas mask is like trying to make a cake with half the ingredients missing.

but like. why would a dragon, a creature known for breathing fire, have to wear a gas mask? despite this, i was somehow able to make it work, with the eye holes in the gas mask being translated into big, dark, unblinking reptilian eyes.

just like in tf2, this version of pyro is also a weird, mysterious little guy. nobody knows how he got outside of where dragons typically live, or if he's even a dragon at all, because you know, dragons typically have eyelids and grow past the size of an adolescent of its species, not to mention still having the signature muffled voice despite nothing being in the way of his mouth.

since equestria is already bright and colorful, pyro's pyrovision doesn't really do much to his perception of reality other than all fire looking rainbow colored to him. that's probably for the best. he gets along really well with ponies despite the fact that none of them understand what he's trying to say.

oh yeah, and balloonicorn is a very real celebrity in this universe. pyro is a big fan.

no coz see on the one hand. canines n felines exist in mlpverse & i already have a Thing of satoshi as a hybrid of the two, have a design burried around somewhere. on the other. rotating. earth pony who got magicked real hard & turned into a unicorn methinks....... but then i have to think abt cutie mark things. could be a phoenix feather. does being the universe's specialest cockroach count as a talent. if i'm the slightest bit serious about this & just slap baseball onto all this again........ much to think about. maybe.
