This is in my opinion the human persona villains moral alignment chart (relative to each other).
Maruki: I placed him lawful good because his motivations are primarily from a good place. Also he never cheated on Rumi.
Namatame: He's a cheater, other than that pretty good guy.
Jin: His loyalty to Takaya mainly placed him there. He's still a member of Strega though.
Ikutsuki is just where he is because everyone else fit their spots better.
Kubo: Stretching the definition of villain to include him, i was actually contemplating switching him and Akechi, but decided to put Akechi in chaotic neutral in the end.
Akechi: Cool motivation, still murder.
Shido: Lawful in the sense that he uses the law to his advantage, also out of the "evil" guys he's imo the most "lawful".
Adachi: Not as chaotic as Takaya, still evil
Takaya: Striving for pure living in the moment is about as Chaotic as it gets.

Random stuff from the Persona Club P4 book
I leafed through the Club book and more of the meta and setting stuff stood out to me than the character stuff. 🤓
The origins of Yasoinaba: The meta developer corner notes that Yasoinaba gets its name from the Hare of Inaba legend. Yaso comes from Okuninushi's brethren who are collectively called the yasogami. Samegawa is also a reference to the Hare of Inaba. In the myth, the hare went on the backs of sharks to reach the territory that would eventually be called Inaba. "Same" is shark, and "kawa/gawa" is river. The animal mascot in Inaba is the rabbit. Not because of the myth, though, but because there's a bunch of rabbits somewhere if you follow the Samegawa lol. The town plant is broadleaf cattail.
Tatsuhime Shrine: It's noted that Toyotamahime is the enshrined deity at Tatsuhime shrine. This is a kinda indirect reference to the Hare of Inaba. Toyotamahime was a sea creature who could transform into a human. Her sea creature form was said to be similar to that of a crocodile or a shark (see the above about the Hare of Inaba). Actually, my first blog post on here was about Toyotamahime and the woman at the shrine.
The staging area of the TV world: The design of the people on the ground on the floor of the staging area when you enter the TV world from Junes is the result of the main characters having murder on the brain when they first enter the TV.
The location of Junes: The Yasoinaba branch of Junes is located near the highway so it brings incidental business to town because people who are driving through will also stop there, not just Inaba locals.
Junes wages: Start at 690 yen per hour for high school students, and 900 yen per hour for others. (Per Google, this was like $6.67 / $8.70 per hour in 2008 when the game came out.)
Yosuke's dad's name: Yoichi Hanamura (花村陽一).
The origins of Konishi Liquor: A member of Atlus's battle team is named Konishi and their family actually owns a liquor store. Early on in development, the team just called the place "Konishi Liquor" as a placeholder after the developer and the name stuck. (The text specifically says this is about a Konishi on the battle team, so it's not referring to the composer who is also named Konishi.)
The in-universe history of Inaba: Yasoinaba developed as a mountain castle town with ties to Takeda Shingen. (This is a reference to the actual area in Yamanashi where Atlus drove to and used as a model for the shopping district.) Later, it became a coal mining town. But the coal mine has since closed. (I believe the coal mine part is fictional and isn't supposed to correlate to Yamanashi.)
Mayumi's Room and Saki's Shopping District: Originally, Mayumi's room and the shopping district with Konishi Liquor were a lot bigger and more similar to the size of the other dungeons in the time period after they were pushed into the TV. Once inside, they became lost in the maze and had to confront their shadows. But once the person who created these spaces/images died, these two places shrunk in size, hence the smaller areas you see in-game. The smaller parts are like "cores" of these once larger areas that remain behind. The book likens the small spaces / "cores" to ghosts that haunt the spots where they died.
Magatsu Inaba and Magatsu Mandala: Unlike the other dungeons, which sprung from repressed thoughts, Adachi's Magatsu Inaba was intentionally created to lure in the Investigation Team and confuse them. From the yellow caution tape, you can sense that a part of him still knows he's a detective.
The bit about the caution tape, I think you can read it also as an explanation to why he sends you the letter about the true ending - there is still detective'ing to be done. But like, I'm just gonna pretend I didn't read that. The tape says CAUTION KEEP OUT WARNING because babygirl has a hard time with feelings and people. Fuck you Atlus. Also, I guess his place being "intentionally" created is related to why he got to pick the entrance being in Mayumi's room.
Shadows: The shadows in Persona 4 aren't really the same as Persona 3. The book tells you to think of them separately as the ones in Persona 4 don't really directly harm people - they remain in the unconscious rather than appear in reality and shank people. Shadows in the TV world attack Persona users because they sense danger from Persona users and just instinctively know to attack them. Compared to Persona 3, there are more silly shadows because the Midnight Channel is influenced by the people who watch it.
Mitsuo Kubo's backstory: Mitsuo was a student at Yasogami High until Morooka caught him messing around in a downtown area, after which he was suspended from school for a week. This wrecked his ego / pride so badly that he dropped out of Yasogami High and held a grudge against Morooka. Btw, Hashino also mentions in this long interview that Mitsuo was originally not going to kill Morooka.
References to the Kirijo Zaibatsu: When Dojima tries to reach Nanako in November, he gets a pre-recorded message about the KJ phone service and Nanako's phone being off. "KJ" stands for "Kirijo". Additionally, when Naoto mentions that she did research and found info about shadows becoming Personas, this info was leaked from a Kirijo research lab.
Did Kashiwagi seriously book the kids at a love hotel?: The love hotel on Shirakawa from Persona 3 was renovated (kind of) into a regular hotel by the time of Persona 4.
Yomenai Bookstore: Yomenai means "unreadable". The owner's last name is actually Yomenai, and they didn't realize their last name wasn't a good match for running a bookstore until after they opened up business. School kids started making fun of the store, which bothered Yomenai at first, but they left the store open and now stock mostly books related to their own hobbies. In other words, the majority of the books at the store are "unreadable" to regular people.

Replayed p4g in full. I will now list all my issues with p4 that i hope will get fixed should a remake happen. Spoilers ahead.
• The poor presentation of the red herrings
I’ve been vocal enough about how i think the red herring characters (Kubo and Namatame) are extremely poorly presented. They aren’t characters. They are just plot devices. If they got to have more character moments prior to their month they would have been great red herrings, but they don’t have those moments. It weakens Adachi’s twist. There’s precedent for this being fixed however, since they gave Takaya more moments in p3r.
•The dungeons
I really dislike the randomisation of every floor (except the exceptions, of course), every time you change floors part. Especially in Naoto’s dungeon, where going back to a previous floor is necessary to get to the end. If they at the very least do it p3r tartarus style, where they’re randomised per visist to the shadow world in general, i’ll be fine with it. I would prefer p5 style dungeons though.
• The lack of equipment being saved for NG+
Yeah you get to have the compendium, money and costumes, but not the equipment. I had a sword i got from beating the reaper that i just can’t bring into NG+ for some reason. Again, precedent for this being changed, seeing as how p3r lets you keep more from the previous playthrough than any persona game before it.
And yeah that’s it. Those are my most major issues with p4g that keep me from adoring it. I really love the way shuffle time works in p4 (it’s legitimately my favourite way of getting persona’s) and i think the cast is great (again, other than Kubo and Namatame’s poor presentation). I have no doubt that these three points would get adressed in a potential remake.

For the prompts
loosely holding onto each other’s hands, laying in one’s lap
Hey!!!!! Thank you so much for the ask friend!!!!!! Sorry it took me so long ;-; I rewrote this so many times until this version finally came to mind!
ARR Aki/G'raha, set a short time before World of Darkness. Pure fluff for once!
The expedition into the Crystal Tower left little time for rest. Every moment the sun was up was a moment dedicated to progressing into the tower or learning of its mysteries. G’raha hadn’t minded that at all. In fact, he rather enjoyed it. He had more than a passing interest in what they were uncovering, and getting to put his mind to use was thrilling. There was nothing he would have rather done.
That was, until someone decided to throw a wrench in his plans.
Surely, somebody had hit him with Cupid’s arrow or perhaps slipped some potion into his drink. Or maybe, he was truly falling head over heels for this Keeper. He didn’t lose interest in his work, but rather found he enjoyed the nights just as much, if not more than the days.
Aki had convinced him to leave camp one night. Not to stray far, as they had work to do in the morning, but far enough to find some secluded spot in which they could view the stars uninterrupted. They took turns sharing their interests. G’raha, of course, told her of Allagan history and interesting tales. Aki told him of the constellations and their origins. Their story swapping changed into more casual conversation as they went along, stories of heroes and history turning into things such as favorite colors and dreams for the future.
G’raha lay with his head in Aki’s lap. He wasn’t sure if he had taken his eyes off her the whole night. She had let her hair down after their work for the day, a sight G’raha had grown to love more and more. That he was the one to see her at ease filled him with some sense of pride.
Aki spoke with her hands a lot. They were always waving around in some way as she often made wide gestures to help describe what she spoke of. But her hands were calm that night, one stroking his face with a gentleness G’raha would have assumed was impossible from someone such as her. The other had one of his own distracted as she held it loosely.
They fell quiet for a time. Both were more focused on the other to truly realize it, anyway. When usually Aki’s eyes were on the sky, her gaze was fixed on his. G’raha watched as her star marks shifted in brightness, almost as if the light behind them was twinkling. Much like the stars she so loved.
“You remind me of the stars,” G’raha said softly. She didn’t respond verbally, instead tilting her head to the side in curiosity. “Your marks. Perhaps I could call you my star?”
G’raha’s face warmed as soon as he finished speaking. He knew her aversion to pet names and assumed she would turn him down.
Instead, she hummed as she thought. “Well, if I’m your star, would that make you my sun?”
Oh, that filled his chest with butterflies. Her sun? As in, her’s?
“Of course, it would.” He smiled warmly. “Perhaps it would be reason enough to greet the mornings?”
She chuckled. “Maybe I have been a bit more willing to see the light of day as of late.”
“I’ll make it worth it,” he promised. “Looking forward to the day may make sleeping during the night easier.”
“I haven’t had as hard of a time, lately,” she said as her hand on his face shifted to his hair. He noticed she enjoyed his hair a lot, her hands normally finding their way into it after long enough. “I think simply having you beside me helps plenty.”
G’raha saw her marks go from their regular white to soft pink, matching the blush on her cheeks. He brought his free hand up to cup her cheek, feeling the warmth coming from it.
“Well, I’ll be sure to stay beside you as long as you’ll have me, then.”
“That might be forever.” Her voice was soft, but still entirely serious. The implications of that statement made his heart soar. “I think I’m in love with you.”
If his heart was soaring before, he was certain it had hit the stratosphere now. They hadn’t yet even put a label on what they were. For two people who had difficulties keeping their mouths closed, their relationship was mostly unspoken. G’raha was shocked by her words but honestly didn’t think he should be. Not with how they’ve shared a tent for the last few months, or the nights they’ve spent chatting instead of sleeping. Not with the way she helps him braid his hair in the morning or the way they hold each other under the covers until they both have fallen asleep.
He finds himself smiling uncontrollably. That he was so lucky to find someone such as her… He was certain he would never find what they had with anyone else.
“I love you, too.” G’raha brushed her bangs away from her face, watching her marks brighten with each passing second. “My moon, my stars, my love.”
She giggled as she leaned down. G’raha lifted himself to meet her halfway, capturing her lips with his own. It was purely innocent but full of meaning. Words they weren’t quite sure how to say, wordless promises and devotion. It was how he knew his words to be true.
When they separated and eventually began making their way back to camp, G’raha knew he was smitten. He would move mountains just to see her smile.
But for now, he was happy to simply be beside her. He hoped he could at least do that for all eternity.
