his siblings get a freakin banging battle theme in Headspace, it's something i've listened to on repeat for ages. but let's be honest, i don't think anyone listens to 'cram it wad' for more than once when skimming through Omori OSTs. it sounds okay, but his angsty preteen vibes and the noises of two sticks fighting to the death aren't exactly favourite song material. add that onto the fact that in HS they're gods while he's a flipping monkey, his siblings make giant cardboard cutouts of themselves & can predict what the other is going to say while mikhael's making dragon ball references and calling himself 'the maverick',,,

Hi bestie Mikhael (<- I’m being inspired by the one tweet like We should call each other bestie (name) like nuns do you know the one) god I love Popipa so much . Kasumi is such a good character tbfh she’s a lot more interesting and deep than people give her credit for, and that’s even acknowledged in the story...she’s just so fun to see in action I think especially in early Popipa stories like the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star moments. And also Popipa songs can be a lot sadder than expected??? Like Light Delight, Setsunai Sandglass, Girl’s Code...and Kasumi’s solo too like . Woah ok then!!! Idk I kind of flip flop between “could the story actually incorporate this” and “Popipa expressing their emotions and their music being an integral part of Them” on this but yeah . I love how Popipa as a whole interacts...I read the uhh . How to Spend a Special Day story a few days ago and have not stopped thinking about it they love each other so much!!!! T_T one of my fav things is like . How they all read Arisa so well despite her not being able to express love, care, etc without having an outburst or getting embarassed. Because it’s implied she doesn’t have many friends outside of them because she doesn’t know how to express herself very well but Popipa doesn’t care they understand her!!!!! Wails . MAYA IS SUCH A WELL WRITTEN CHARACTER until I read like . My Ideal they were my least fav Pasupare member I’m so damn sorry baby I love you so much 😭😭 I think their internal struggle of trying to balance their music interest and how they tend to go off about it so much (autism...!) with acting ‘normal’ and specifically like a idol. I think up until My Ideal they basically had major imposter syndrome abt their place in Pasupare (I mean Chisato literally asked them to join because they looked idol-like w/o glasses they were just a studio musician before!) even though the other members love them very much no matter what. In fact they all love them FOR the stuff they dislike like how they talk about drums so much or their laugh. It’s just so nice man and when they’re not having deeper conflict moments they’re just such a fun character in action! I love when they try to act more like Aya or Eve or Chisato and do stuff they consider ‘idol-like’ but it doesn’t rlly work for them because . Theyre Maya!!!! And fans like them because of that and they inspire people and (sniff sniff) MY IDEAL WAS SO GOOD OK .
