Rambles and theories; A good amount of death is going to take place over Lightfall’s seasons. Things seem to be going at that pace so far.

Long post, so I put it under read more. Please note these are merely possible death theories and are not to be taken too seriously. If talks like these bother you please read at your own discretion.

Possible deaths this season:

Amanda: She is not in the tower anymore and Rahool is selling the ships and sparrows she once did. The story this season is partly focused on her, as she is one of the main few out of the cast of characters to show up Crow wanting to speak to Amanda about things “before it’s too late” could be foreshadowing and Bungie dropping a hint of “death is around the corner” or something is going to end badly for someone.

Now Bungie has been known for making callbacks to their older games... I fear one callback would be Amanda pulling a Carter from Halo Reach. Using her ship as a fast moving mass to take something out, dying in the process. As much as I hate to admit it... it feels like something she would do.

Not everyone comes back she says... as cruel as this sounds... if she dies, I hope Bungie lets her rest. Let her reunite with her ma and pa. I think her coming back after thinking she will see them again, just to forget them altogether, is the most cruel option.

As much as it would be nice to see a guardian with a prosthetic, I don’t know if Amanda being a Guardian would flow well with the story.

Mara: Now y’all know I dislike her for being so manipulative and is part of the reason Uldren did what he did, but I am not dragging my own views into this. Mara is using an incredible amount of energy to aid us, aid other Guardians all over the EDZ and ascendant plain. If you read on the glaive you earn as the Ritual Weapon, Mara has been doing this non-stop. She is having trouble focusing on anything but her task. Not moving to eat or drink. She is standing valiant, acting as a source for us to do what we need to do.

Yes she did something similar back in Destiny The Taken King, but this is a different case. Even she has limits... and she said she is going to assist. This means she could go past her limits and beyond. She might not die, but even then she could be in a very weak state.

She’d make a good Warlock. Yes someone who dislikes her thinks Mara would make a good Warlock. But what she is doing now, yes it won’t make up for what she did in the past, but her devotion to stand there, staying brave and understanding the sacrifice she may need to make... we know where that could lead to. I makes a bit more sense for Mara to become a Guardian. But there’s really no promise of other Ghosts being out and about, and with the Traveler in it’s current state, they might had given up, feeling as if they are too late, that they failed.

Upcoming seasons (all speculation as I have no real proof of possibility, even I hate the list I made but can’t rule them out): Spider: He is bound to deal a bad hand sooner or later. If he does not severe any form of purpose anytime soon... well he might get the Bungie boot. He is getting less focus as of late, so a sudden influx would be raising a few flags depending on said actions and story path

Miisraks/Mithraks: GOD I HOPE NOT. But sadly he is playing more and more roles, getting a lot of focus. I hope it is for the right reasons. However if we see too much father-daughter bonding, and him asking us to please watch over Eido, keep her safe... we have the right to panic. He is not only a father, but a leader of his people, one willing to do anything and everything to keep them safe.

Osiris: P L E A S E N O Okay but in all honestly he is being rather reckless, but with good reason. Still reckless though. He may be the one to help teach the Vanguard to use stand, along with Saint of course. I feel like he wants one lash hurrah, but it might cost him too much. Know if he gets hurts and Archangel becomes his service dog since he does have a built in harness, I think we can begrudgingly live with that.

Ana Bray: Hoo I know a few friends that would HATE me for even thinking this.. but her state of mind was not the best when we last spoke with her. She lost Rasputin, family who was basically a brother, hell maybe a son even. It hurt her, so badly. Yes she has her sister, girlfriend, and Archangel to watch over her, but it still doesn’t fully exempt her from Bungie’s sights.

More Ghosts: I mean with the Traveler in it’s current state, lone Ghosts might be an easy target.... as for NPC ghosts it is possible, so I don’t want to rule it out.

Unnamed character: Getting the Rohan treatment. Here for a few missions and them BLAM dead... wouldn’t be too shocked if they did this again. It is possible because this is Bungie we’re talking about.
