Searching for Beyblade Shogun Steel/Zero G on japanese

Today it crossed my mind in a very crazy way to see Beyblade Zero G/Shogun Steel which is the sequel to Metal Fury/Metal Fight 4D, a series I watched as a kid (I was a Metal Fight Beyblade fan at the time)

It seems that the series both in anime and toyline was a flop or something because it only had 45 episodes in Japan (they were barely 12 minutes each) and 26 internationally (I guess they put two episodes into one for the broadcast)

The problem is that I can only find the series with the english, french, german dub and obviously in japanese audio, I found evidence of a spanish dub, but I can’t find it, not even in the official Beyblade Metal Saga youtube channel which has what I believe are all the dubs from the Metal saga

The problem is, it doesn’t seem to be a subtitled Japanese version either, so I only have the English dub to watch

Can someone find a way to a japanese version with subs or I had to watch the english dub only? I would prefer to skip the english dub tbh

A spanish dub would also be good because that’s my native language

- I know, I know, he should have been a lynx, but since Beat Lynx actually resembles a Bengal cat more than anything that’s what I went with.

- A Charcoal Bengal, specifically, because his color palette was just all over the place.

- Very leggy- he’s taller than Pluto.

- Tufts of fur along his spine- chest fur curls to the side. He’s unkempt, seeing as he doesn’t really bother with appearances.

- Pluto’s chief recruiter/enforcer. Not skilled in battle by any stretch of the word, but he’s vicious and an absolute cheat.

You know, fascinating thing about Kyouya -- it actually makes perfect sense for him to react to Damian the way he did.

He was like...making out like Damian's Problems And Issues were a weirdly personal affront to him. He was like offended that this guy who's Terrified Of Dirt was challenging him. He was just oozing contempt. “Pfft, I bet you wouldn’t last FIVE MINUTES out in ThE WiLdErNeSs, little techie city boy. You’re just a worthless hack.” etc.

Because Kyouya DID get tossed out in the damn wilderness and survive. Had to hold his own against fucking wolves in a canyon. Threw himself into fucking tornadoes and lived. Shit like that. He would probably actually feel extremely threatened by the notion that some little city boy Wielding The Power Of Science could compare to him in terms of capability [and Damian sure was putting up One Hell Of A Fight], which is exactly why he WOULD feel the need to Stomp Down Extra Hard Unnecessarily To Assert Dominance like that. He was so pointlessly cruel. Threw mud on the guy and triggered his germaphobia just to be a bully. Damian did need to be disarmed because he was a threat, but he was also a pawn and a victim, so there was no tactical reason to be just excessively belittling and scornful and vitriolic to him. Kyouya made it personal.

Because the implication of someone like Damian existing would be that...Kyouya maybe...didn't NEED to go square up with fucking wolves and tornadoes and shit. It would mean that that was not necessary to attain power [and more specifically, to survive]. It would mean that All That Suffering And Nearly Dying he went through was maybe actually pointless and he's perhaps just an idiot with no self-preservation instinct. [...Which he really kind of is lmfao.] It would be painful to realize and think about that. Of course he got so weirdly aggro there. He was actually getting defensive.

He was probably thinking, like, "People who DIDN'T go Almost Die Repeatedly In The Desert can...be strong too?? People can survive and thrive on Support From Other Man And Also Machine? They don’t...HAVE to be 100% self-sufficient alone in the wilderness like a caveman? No. Fake! I call bullshit! I EARNED MY POWER, DAMMIT! [AND THUS MY RIGHT TO LIVE!] WHAT I ENDURED WAS TOTALLY NECESSARY. I'M NOT DUMB. I TOTALLY DIDN'T ALMOST DIE REPEATEDLY FOR NO REASON. THAT WAS THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY TO BECOME TRULY STRONG AND PROVE MY WORTH!!" lol poor guy. That’s why he reacted so strongly and dug his heels in so hard on the notion that any power attained in a [supposedly] safer and easier way than his must just be Fake and Inferior, an Illusion Of Power. He really, really felt the need to assert this because, on some level, he recognized the implications the alternative would have for him.

That’s good writing.

Kyouya, the Dark Power and character's development

Some says that Kyoya regresses a lot between Fusion and Masters (and accuse the Dark Power of it) but I disagree.

In Fusion, he's being drawn in the whole fight against the Dark Nebula, and things went fast : he came to his senses after the Wolf Canyon, learnt of the Forbidden Bey's existence (you know ? Kyouya Tategami, who didn't believe in magic and thought it was nonsense until they went to the Dark Nebula Castle), then he went looking for Ginga.

Kyouya isn't used to be around people who aren't his lackeys. You can see it when he first travels with Benkei, Kenta and Madoka. He seemed out of place, not really knowing how to react. He let Benkei (after the Wolf Canyon) and Ginga (at Koma) take him into their arms. Some days later he decided he needed something called "personal space" and pushed away people when they are too near to him (like he did with Benkei).

After this, the Battle Bladers was announced. The whole group did their best to qualify and the Battle Bladers began. Kyouya had no time to think about the way he wanted to act with others. Between Fusion and Masters, he had (too much maybe) time to think and plan how he wants to behave with others and, especially, how he wants to behave as Ginga's rival.

In season 1, he was so angry to have lost against he teamed up with the Dark Nebula (he kind of promise it, but nonetheless...). Then he came back with his worst behaviour ever (poor little town guy who didn't imagine being in the wilderness was so hard xD). In next seasons, he only went away when he's pissed off. It's a great improvement !

Two other examples of improvement : - In season 1, he blames his Face Hunter after he lose against Ginga but, in season 2, he acknowledges the Wild Fang lose because of him, after Nile blamed himself (what he could have easily used). - In season 2, he refuses to be part of the Japanese Team, but in season 3, he decides to travel with the group, while no one asked him yet (it doesn't end perfectly, but it was a good start).

Kyouya's wish to defeat Ginga isn't caused by the Dark Power. It was present since he met him in the first season : their first battle, the Wolf Canyon, his "rivalry" with Hyouma, the Battle Bladers (in particular the semi-final where he spent his time saying he would defeat Ginga, didn't care about Ryuuga and that Ginga want to fight with him).

Kyouya wasn't affected by the Dark Power. He had no aura, no flashback of his duel with Ryuuga, no traumatized look that characterized Tsubasa and Hikaru when they suffered the Dark Power. It didn't do anything to him. His worst (and only) breakdown (or outburst) was at the very begining of the series, after the Wolf Canyon, long before he knew Ryuuga and the Dark Power existed. 

About his obsession of Ginga... Ginga is the very first one who have won over him. Kyouya is (slightly ?) a bad loser. To refuse to become a part of the japanese team is completely in his course of action. He wanted to defeat Ginga and, if he teamed up with him, he couldn't. So he had searched another way to take part in the World Championship BEFORE he started the selections. When he talked with Ginga after defeating Tsubasa, he told him so with hints and half-words.

So the Dark Power has exactly no effet on Kyouya (and his behavior evolved).
