- Since it’s, literally rare, that I see instances in fanfiction of anything remotely diverse in terms of African and African-American, I decided to make a whole masterlist dedicated to my black and brown sistas!
- We all have one thing in common, and that’s our skin tones, so I will be including that into the stories I make for you. I don’t mean tuning it down to tan or deep browns, because of course we have different shades, but I will both mention our melanin and (occasionally) curls/braids. I know how much of a cricket moment it can be when you’re reading a fic and it talks about how a character runs their hands through your hair or makes you blush really red. Like er... v cringe.
- I hope this can be a safespace for my melanin women! Also, if you’d like to request something that is directed towards this masterlist, aka black women, then please add a “♕” where your request starts (ex: ♕ Can I request [insert what you would like me to write] ). Thanks for reading!!
