Hyde and Erik, I want to know who's more dangerous to mess with or dangerous in general.. you both are scary to deal with if someone gets in your nerves

"Isn't the answer obvious? Look at that bloody twig and tell me I can't beat his arse!" Hyde cackled in confidence, causing Erik to tighten his grip around his noose.

"Tch. I would say there is nothing in that minuscule mind of yours. It seems your wit mirrors your height, imbecile." The last part was muttered under his breath. Hyde growled in contempt, he couldn't handle getting what he gave.

"Why you-! That's it! No need for flighty words, fight me like a man and that shall determine who is the most dangerous!" Hyde brandished his cane like a sword, ready to duel.

"Tch. I refuse to dirty my hands with such filth... but I will be sure to finish this quickly."

No idea if this will reach somewhere but like, I have a victorian era roleplaying server where everything is set in a world called Vesper, with cowboys and other fun stuff; we have already some characters from gothic literature (J&H, Frankenstein etc.) claimed, but we allow doubles! ocs and canon characters are also allowed.

and here's the premise:

Thousands of years ago, a cataclysm befell the land of Vesper, eradicating all its inhabitants, flora, and fauna. Intriguingly, bored Gods seized an opportunity within this ravaged world, meticulously reconstructing its plant and animal life. Yet, there was a missing piece – something beyond their creative reach: human beings. Contemplating their divine dilemma, the Gods devised a curious plan. What if they were to pluck citizens from diverse worlds and eras, transplanting them onto a perilous continent teeming with both opportunities and dangers? Thus, the stage was set, and the characters found themselves in the enigmatic continent, disoriented and accompanied by a small box. Within this box, an unusual slate resembling a phone and a leather bag containing precisely one hundred coins awaited their bewildered discovery.

Lately, there has been a significant influx of individuals from diverse backgrounds and historical eras, leading to a noticeable population surge. Despite the assistance of the Arcane Society *a community ran by Doctor Henry Jekyll comprising rogue scientists, friendly witches, and doctors in Mossbury Town, there is a collective inability to comprehend why or how they ended up there, and a return seems elusive; notably, dissent exists, particularly among the residents of Rusvil Town. While overall relations between the towns remain amicable with the exchange of products and information, a subtle air of prejudice lingers among Rusvil inhabitants towards the Arcane Society. They opt to place their hopes for an explanation and a way back in the hands of philosophers who advocate religious beliefs.

I have read some opinions about mazm Phantom of the Opera and I understand that people do not want to delve into either the canon of the game or the essence of Erik's character. Mazm's game is an adaptation and it can afford to deviate from the canon (if this is normal within the story of the adaptation itself). And mazm built the story in such a way that Erik fits seamlessly into it with his story and the morality that is in the game. Yes, the message of the game is different from what was in the book. The problem with mazm's ending is not that there is another Erik, Christina or the essence here (I repeat, the adaptation can afford it since it works on the plot of the game). The problem is that the premise of the game doesn't work for Erik's story. He is a doomed man here, who had no chance to become normal because of the cruelty of the world.

In general, I have a lot of thoughts about "critics" who didn't want to think about the game for more than two minutes (and who are obviously fans of the musical and the 2004 film lol), but I'm too lazy.

Почитала некоторые мнения о мазм Призрак оперы и понимаю, что люди не хотят вникать ни в канон игры ни в суть персонажа Эрика. Игра от мазм это адаптация и она может позволить себе отхождения от канона (если это будет нормально в пределах истории самой адаптации). И мазм выстроили историю таким образом, что Эрик органично в неё вписывается со своей историей и моралью, которая есть в игре. Да, посыл игры отличается от того, что был в книге. Проблема концовки у мазм не в том, что здесь другой Эрик, Кристина или суть (повторяюсь адаптация может позволить себе это так как это работает на сюжет игры). Проблема в том, что посыл игры не работает для истории Эрика. Он здесь обреченный человек, у которого не было ни единого шанса стать нормальным из-за жестокости мира.

Вообще у меня много мыслей по поводу "критиков", которые не захотели подумать над игрой дольше двух минут (и которые очевидно фанаты мьюзикла и фильма 2004 лол), но мне лень.
